I've been back to KHA a few times since my original review. It continues to exceed my expectations. The serving sizes are huge and the sushi is very well priced. Their staff is so kind and welcoming. Highly recommend their sushi, spring rolls and ramen!

I came here for late lunch or a very early dinner. There was a little confusion, if I was a carry out or dine in, and according to KHA the owner, on rainy days they usually get a lot of carry out and GrubHub orders. I ended up getting the dragon barbecue eel roll for dining in. It came shortly after and was very tasty, made with fresh ingredients. The decorations in the restaurant were reminding me of our family trips to Thailand and the surrounding areas. I tried to practice my Thai with Kha she understood me but she is from Myanmar a different country and language. Her husband and sister also work at this location. I wish them success and welcome them to the neighborhood. 22/2022 Food 5 Ambiance 5 Service 5 Location 5 only 4.5 from home Value 5 15% off total bill... any discounts really helps during inflation (Tuesday's and Thursday)

I was very surprised to find this little place, it's actually an Burmese restaurant disguised as sushi restaurant they do service sushi, but there are many other authentic Burmese dishes if you are open to try it. The decoration of the restaurants revealed it all. The service is quick and friendly.

Finally!Good authentic food comes to Mequon. Excellent sushi, really good rice, dishes, great chicken recipes ... I'm sold. The owner is from Burma I was told. We have a few good places to eat in this community and I'm glad this place has joined the collection.

Great little spot! I love this place. It's cute and practical at the same time. The napkin dispensers are awesome! But more than that the poke is top notch and the sushi burrito (seaweed wrap) is great apparently too. I look forward to coming and trying all of the things on the menu, which is a very ambitious menu. The sushi was good, the poke was good, I'm hoping the Ramen and Singapore noodles are just as good.

It always amazes me living in Wisconsin how many options we have around for decent sushi. I can easily say I've been to over a dozen sushi spots in the area and Kha Sushi Land is a Very Welcome addition. Location wise, you wouldn't know Kha Sushi Land was there unless you looked it up. At least, that was the case for me! They have proper signage and fun decals on the outside, unfortunately however it seems to be a product of the location. Don't let that pursuade you against going! When I entered the location I was greeted immediately. The decor was neat and the building was VERY clean. I was seated inside with my friend and was asked about drinks in a very prompt manner. I got the Thai iced tea and it was very tasty! Appetizers were the Crab Rangoon and Pork Gyoza. The Rangoon was basic, but who doesn't like a standard Rangoon? Gyoza was very stand out. Punching with flavor making me wish I had ordered more. For entree's, my friend and I ordered the same thing. The salmon and tuna special combo (photo attached). It came out quickly and was very fresh. For roughly 15 bucks it was a rather decent serving that filled me up! Honestly some of the best sushi I've had in this area. During my dinner, only a few other tables were being served. The traffic certainly seemed to be high for people coming in for carryout though. If the carry-out is anything like my dine-in experience I'm sure it's A+. All in all my only complaint was a small error on the check. I pointed it out and the server quickly corrected it no problem. Give this place a shot! Hopefully we can keep them around for many more years as a staple dine-in / carry out sushi joint. Very happy to give them their first review as a 5/5

The minute we walked in, a man sitting next to the hostess--who appeared to be part of the restaurant, not a customer--just stared at us. No greeting, no smile... just staring. The hostess also seemed a bit confused when we walked in. She asked if we had reservations; we said no. Then she asked if a high-top table was fine, as if the restaurant were packed. We agreed, assuming there would be a long wait for a regular table. But as she led us over, there were plenty of regular tables available. So right off the bat, the vibe wasn't particularly welcoming. As for the service, the waitress did a great job with the welcome and checked on us at a perfect pace. We also liked the decor--plenty of cute design elements that would make for great photos and draw people in. The menu was well done too: not overwhelming, just the right amount of variety in each category. Honestly, this part is why I gave the place more stars than I probably should have. As for the food, it was just okay for us--though that may have been due to what we ordered. There were only two of us, and we got three dishes: shrimp fried rice, beef chow fun, and kung pao chicken. We thought that would give us a good variety. The food had good flavor, but all three dishes tasted very similar. If you try these same dishes elsewhere, the flavors are usually more distinct. I do wish we had tried more of the appetizers and drinks--maybe that would have changed our rating a bit.

Lees restaurant…read more 2024 Came back to try their pho at Lee Restaurant. Here goes nothing...actually good. I had the Regular large pho. Wow. The meat is cut like real pho too. I'm amazed. Still, not as good as pho from a Vietnamese owner. Still. Decent for Hmong owners. Give yourself an applause. Good job. A little on the salty side, so be careful not to add too much fish sauce, salt, or Hoisin sauce. Now is the hard part, can you keep this broth consistent? Can you keep using the same meat or will you go cheap? Only time will tell. For now, you make decent good pho. No wonder you have a large pho eating crowd! Nice. FYI, just because I'm Hmong does not make be bias. I have no connections to these Hmong workers or owners. My review is strictly from experience from eating PHO from all over the US. If you made my list, congratulations. If not, try again. Cons: The bowl is not stainless steel or ceramic. Ceramic holds heat better so the pho stays hot longer. Vietnamese owners have their pho come out piping hot. This cooks any raw meat in the bowl. The regular bowl lacks tripe, tendon, brisket but is still good. Wait.. the Pad Thai was terrible. Don't bother ordering that item. Highly recommended

A fellow yelper reached out to me years ago to tell me to check them out, Lisa X. The restaurant is in the back off Hmong Town and always full on the weekends with almost every table filled. The restaurant is dumpy with generic tables/chairs. They also are a Chinese bbq style with hot tables filled with pork, chicken, sausage, egg rolls, stuffed wings etc. I got the combo pho which is fake crab, shrimp, beef and meat balls to go with a sausage that comes with a spicy dipping sauce. I like the pho because I think the broth has a depth of flavor which is delicious.

The staff was a bit hard to understand and when I explained we were first timers, she slowed down her speaking a bit and that helped. Be prepared to order you full meal right away as they then prepare the ingredients in the kitchen for preparation at the table. It appears to be traditional to be entertained by the chef, which we did expect, however I was not prepared to have a broccoli launched at me without warning. We each were hit in the face which was not a lot of fun. Maybe we could be asked first next time? I know many people enjoy this but we were in the middle of a conversation when the food started flying. Kids will love this! The food was prepared wonderfully well. A medium rare steak was perfect as was the medium one requested. A quick and efficient prep was impressive and there was a large amount of food on our plates before long. They have a happy hour that is really reasonable, M-Th 4:30-6:00. We will also be back to take advantage of that option. You can choose to sit in the traditional dining room or the hibachi area. We really enjoyed the hibachi option just for the pleasure of watching our food being prepared well in front of us. Plenty of parking in this relatively innocuous building near the mini-golf place. But it is worth a visit. The food is worth the reasonable prices.
