This was a last minute dinner take out choice. We had a few veggie sushi rolls and a shrimp tempura roll. Not bad but I can't say it was memorable. The restaurant is in a food hall with a few other restaurants to choose from. They also have a small dining area to dine in.

I've enjoyed lunch and dinner here. compared to the other location the rolls were carefully made and attention to details as far as each slice being of the same size. I was told that things slow down in the winter so as long as the streets are clear I'll enjoy taking a short drive north to enjoy great quality. Seafood that's fresh and we'll made. 17/ 2023 Food 5 Ambiance 4 Service 5 Location 5 Value 5

We had an enjoyable first visit to Screaming Tuna in the Mequon Public Market. It was our first time in the market too - plenty of space, clean, bright, pleasant. I absolutely love the mural on the wall done by (former) local artist Taylor Herzog. We have been to the Screaming Tuna in downtown Milwaukee and their sushi is good, so the Mequon location matched expectations. The Spicy Tuna roll we ordered was good but nothing mind blowing. The Tonkatsu Ramen was good as well, but also nothing mind blowing. The flavors could have used a little more variety from the add-ins. The pork belly was a little overdone and dry vs tender and melt-in-your-mouth like you'd usually find. A solid bowl of ramen. The service was pleasant and helpful! We enjoyed our visit over all, and we would definitely go back if we were in the area. The public market is nice and has options for everyone.

Awesome dinner with a girlfriend. Great New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc, and the spicy garlic edamame were fantastic as an appetizer! We split a spicy tuna roll and screaming tuna roll, the best! Our server was so cute and friendly.

Dined here a few days ago when my cousin and I did a quick day trip to Wisconsin during my Chicago vacation that's about to conclude. What was funny was I had poke on the brain when we walked into the Mequon Public Market, but changed my mind when I saw the restaurant. Save for a man and a woman at one of the booths, we were the only customers before the lunch rush. It made it easy for the nice woman at the counter -- her name's lost on me, unfortunately -- to tend to us. My cousin had the ramen while I chose the Chicken Katsu. Before our meals arrived, we helped ourselves to Tsukune and Tempura Appetizer. Both did well to set us up for lunch. The chicken meatball skewers leaned towards addicting. If it were up to me, I'd eat my weight in them. The tempura had that hot-off-the-grill freshness. It was so delicious that sauce was basically unnecessary. Drizzled with a spicy, tangy mayonnaise, the Chicken Katsu filled me up nicely. It was accompanied by a solid bed of rice, which was infused with a unique kick from the entrée and the mayo. The pieces were a solid size to where I ate the contents of the meal separately. With chopsticks, of course. And before I forget, I really like the business's name. If anything, I do want to scream from the rooftops as to how great it is. This review will do, though.

I visited Screaming Tuna in the Mequon public market because I was in the area and craving Ramen. I went around lunch time and was able to add some shrimp into my ramen which I'm happy about because it was the best thing I ate there. I wasn't a fan of the ramen. It lacked flavor- I had the mushroom ramen as they were out of the pork belly. I would venture to guess the pork belly ramen is more tasty. I also had some spicy tuna which was good. I tried a bit of my friends appetizer and nothing really stood out to me. I will say the service was a positive as my friend forgot to order something without seafood to accommodate her allergy and they remade it right away. This might've been a time where I just ended up ordering the wrong thing.

Stopped in for lunch today. It was my 3rd visit to this location, and my experiences have all been very good! Today I ordered the Shekhar specialty roll with tempura shrimp, spicy tuna, avocado, wasabi mayo, and sriracha, and the Pork Belly Tonkotsu Ramen. The sushi roll was delicious and provided different textures, and the ramen checked all the boxes for me when it comes to Tonkotsu, which is my go-to style. The broth was well-seasoned with a milky texture. The noodles were perfectly cooked with the right texture and held the flavor of the broth. The pork belly was tender enough to be pulled apart with the chop sticks, and they were mostly lean, so if you don't like fatty pork belly, these would be perfect for you. I would have liked some fat in the pork belly for additional flavor, but this pork belly hit the spot! My server checked on my periodically, and I enjoyed sitting at the sushi bar, next to the window. Screaming Tuna is one of the 3 or 4 businesses in the Mequon Public Market that I go back to when I'm in the area, which isn't often. They have a large enough menu for different tastes. Check them out!

**Update** Revisited for a friend's birthday because she was set on Ramen. The ramen was delicious . Crispy tuna and crab wonton appetisers absolutely awesome . Our server was attentive and welcoming, though perhaps slightly overwhelmed with multiple tables. Still no real wasabi, unfortunately. And the sushi/sashimi is still the weakest link here. The potential for this place is huge - there are very few (almost zero) options for ramen or sushi nearby - a few tweaks could go a long way ‍.

Went to Screaming Tuna in Mequon last night since I was around the area and craved for Uni. The place is a bit tight but again it's within the Mequon Market that also has plenty of upstairs space for eating if you order take out. I got sashimi appetizer and Uni maki. It's hard to find restaurants that offers uni so I'll say this is my go to place for uni. The fish was fresh and the salmon especially just melted in my mouth! The uni was delicious as always. If you haven't had uni before, I would say it's a buttery, hint of sweet but salty taste of lobster. (Best way i can explain it) The staffs are great! Our waiter was very attentive and always filled our glasses even if it only half empty! Sadly we didn't catch her name but way to go on your service.

Always such an enjoyable experience, from the food, the staff and atmosphere. Jimmy K was SO kind and responsive. Love that this is an option in the North shore area - yet just as great as the OG Mke location. I mean, just look at these rolls

Very unique in that you get to cook your own main course. Chicken, beef, pork, veggies and/or seafood. The appetizers were excellent, fresh, crisp and tasty. Try the chicken wings, they put BW3's to shame. Fresh cut of rib eye, short ribs, brisket, pork belly cooked to perfection (by me) and you just can't any fresher. Excellent all the way around and if you'd like more, just ask and they'll bring you more. Fresh shrimps and scallops, calamari, you name it, you can cook it. This is such a unique place and the service was quite good. Thank you Nick for being our server, you done good. All in all this was a very experience and to be honest for what you get, a good value at $40 a person. We will tell our friends and we can't wait to bring them here.

Well that was interesting! Lots of great flavor here…read more We went on a Saturday night as a group of six. Booked in a reservation which was a good call because it was packed. Our server was sweet and super knowledgeable, especially given it was her second day. It was a bit chaotic though, in terms of the ordering process and how much things continue to be dropped at the table. Luckily my fam took the reins on ordering and I honestly loved pretty much everything. For $40 it's all you can eat, which certainly seems worth it. You definitely have to be up for grilling your own food because it's a very interactive experience! Such a variety of meats available. Loved all of the sauces and yummy sides too. Only pass for me was mochi dessert but I feel like that's an acquired taste (or should I say texture). Oh and for drinks, worth noting they don't have a full bar so in addition to soft drinks, they have beer, wine, and sake available. We tried the sake and it was actually pretty good! If you're after solid Korean bbq this spot is worth the visit.

The interior is cute - modifications have been made to remove the fast food feeling of the building. The menu has a little of something for everyone, which was perfect for the occasion. Sushi rolls were good - BF said his spider roll was particularly well done. The ramen dishes were good and portions were large. The vegetarian one was somewhat bland and I'm not sure why the noodles used were different than in the others, but it seems common that veggie ramen is just not given the effort and complexity of flavor as meat-based ramen. The chicken was a hit and was fresh with an abundance of veggies. This is a nice addition to the Sheboygan dining scene.
