    Gas to go

Sendik's you make 7-11 envious. I like quickie in and outie places like this but this one made me stay a little longer because of all the choices. (Not a bad thing) I got gas then I got beers and granola bars, Lays. Nice beer and wine selection along with the convenience of easy in and easy out. The staff are friendly. I complained under my breath about how tight the beers were stocked in the coolers but it makes sense as a retailer to fit as much into the coolers. The place looks like they maximized every square inch to give the best products available with a tiny footprint. Prices were a bit more higher but not outrageous. The prepared food section was clean and well stocked. For a quick meal. Parking can be scarce along with the traffic being shared with the gas station on the same corner. Very busy location and glad to see that they staffed up to speed up cashier lines. F:5 great selection. A:5 not your typical convenience store S:4 L:3 busy intersection tight parking lot. V: 3 a bit pricey 79/2014

Nice remodel! I'm impressed. Now a true high end mini grocery store, this location of the Sendiks family caters to the in-and-out crowd with a flair for quality. Overpriced as always, I can still see myself using this site for a quick lunch option or a "I need to pick it up" at the last moment kinda thing. The staff is friendly and have personalities unlike their bigger Fresh Market rival across the street. Very informative too. I found out they have build your own omelets and other breakfast items early in the morning. Take advantage of the small nook in the corner to grab a bite and get some work done. While they don't have everything, they have the staples that one would need. From meat, to the bakery, to sandwiches, sushi, soups and rock star salad bar, consider these an easy way to find what you need in a pinch.

Comprable gas prices on the corner of Brown deer road. Looks are deceiving -- this is not just a gas station...

The food is OK the staff is unhappy, except for one woman and it's priced way too high. Just go to Aldi.

I like the steaks better at Fresh Market. Must be a different supplier. Everything else is great.

Given the price of groceries at other food stores in the Milwaukee area, I feel Sendik's gives me the best "bang for my buck"!

First time here. I was attending a Yelp Event…read more I was super impressed with the store. I checked and there are lots of stores in the Chicago area but this appears to be the first in the Milwaukee area. It's a interesting concept. Everything is frozen, including meats, fish, vegetables and meals. There is a large selection of interesting, or what might be considered exotic foods. You can get cuts of Elk, Bison, and Venison. They have organ meats and oxtails. They have a large selection of shrimp, and some that are so big that you might mistake them for lobster. For many of the items, there are plenty of choices. For example there is not just one salmon or shrimp selection. They have at least 12 different types to choose from. For different locations, different types, different, and different types of production standards (organic, non-gmo, pasture raised, etc) The store is well organized. All of the standing freezers or wall units are neatly packed and well labeled. Pricing is easy to discern. It's easy to shop and find what you are looking for. I found the help to all be helpful, and friendly. The staff at the registers were patient, and chatty. I bought a couple of items, and looking forward to cooking up the pasture raised chicken (breasts) and the Gulf Coast shrimp. This is not my side of town, so it's a little out of my way. However, they explained that for $29 you can get a year of free deliveries. That's a great deal!

The selections available are wide and varied, more meat, poultry, and seafood choices then I have ever seen anyplace, and the prices were very good and competitive. I tried the paella, very tasty, and the gnocchi, my favorite! The duck slider was out of this world. If everything tastes as good as the samples I tried, then I couldn't recommend a stop at Wild Fork more! It's a destination worth seeking out and you won't be disappointed. I bought several items(the gnocchi of course) and can't wait to try them out at home.Kudos to Jessica and Marissa, another winner!

I mean what kid wouldn't be excited for that? So many freshly-made options to choose from, and this one was a winner. Definitely a very sweet-treat, and worth splitting a handful of ways, but boy was it tasty! I also grabbed a latte for myself, which I always enjoy here. I will say however, I wish they had other milk options beyond oat and whole milk. I say this with no means to complain, but both of those milk are very 'heavy' so whenever something like skim or almond is available, that's a personal preference for sure. Love the community feel here, love the goodies, will return.

They had a variety of baked goods to choose from- we opted for the cinnamon roll and the seasonal danish. We also ordered a cappuccino and an americano. The baked goods we had were okay. We were disappointed they wouldn't heat up the cinnamon roll, the reason they gave us was because the frosting would run and be messy. So the cinnamon roll wasn't very enjoyable. I liked the filling on the seasonal danish but I asked for it heated up and it was served at room temp. The coffee was good- we both thought it was weak for our liking but it had good flavor. Also to note, this place is very family-friendly. When we were in, there were a lot of children and families enjoying the space. I would love to come back and try the monkey bread; they were sold out when we arrived this morning and we were told it's a top-seller.

Saved a bundle, as my children (who are half locust at near teen years and eat like nine meals a day each) cost an arm and a leg to feed. Generic toaster pastries - a steal! I will be back, again, with more bags this time. The store was well stocked, super duper clean, very fresh and ample selection of produce. A few quick prep meals, too. Original review (4 stars): New to the area - am I the only one who didn't know you need coins to get a basket here? FYI - if you want a cart, you need a quarter. Also, no grocery bags, you have to bring your own. Just me, ok. Sorry! I should have read the Yelp reviews first! OK, we just needed a few things, so our list got smaller - to just what can me and a toddler carry? The store was spotlessly clean. Great prices and the produce looked fresh with a great variety in that department, and a somewhat limited selection in other areas. I was looking for dried red lentils - they had a few dried beans and some canned, but not what I was looking for. I wanted frozen, sliced carrots for a stew, also a no go. They did have fresh, and canned. Super great deals on lots of boxed/canned, and prepared/frozen foods. Don't be like me, come prepared, and it looks like you can save a bundle.

Here's the thing I'll vouch for Aldi all day long. Love it, love the prices, love their standards,…read morelove their random isle of specials and home goodies. But hot dang this location needs more staffing. It's our usual location, so we're weekly visitors, and everytime we're there the line for checkout is sprawling down the isles. It feels rare more than one register is open. But staff themselves? Soo nice, just nowhere near enough of them. Consider this my plea. As for the store itself, this one is up to date, always very well-kept, and fully stocked!
