Stopped in for the first time on a late Sunday afternoon. Looking for some healthy fastfood options. We love sushi, but many sushi places are more sit-down restaurants with servers, which is great, but takes a bit more time. We had a 30 min window, so this looked like a great choice. This location is part of the Brookfield Corners Center. Parking was easy, in that they surface lot is right across the road. The inside dining area is spacious, well lit, and casual. You can either order at the Kiosk, or at the counter. First time here so we opted to order at the counter. We had several questions about the process and options. The server did a great job of helping us out. Decided a couple of the Build-Your-Own Bowls. Their are plenty of options when you do this, beginning with the 6 base choices (mixed greens, rice, quinoa, etc). Then the proteins, sauces, add-ins, and topping. There is something for everyone. They give you a number and you wait at one of the open tables. Afte a short wait, the server brought our bowls. They looked and tasted super fresh. Lots of great textures and flavors. There was enough left over for another meal (we added some chicken the next day). I thought it was a very good value. Would definitely come back again.

Stopped in for lunch & it was delicious!!! The person checking me out helped me with my create your own & gave me some good additions. It turned out great - I would definitely get the same thing again next time!! I did CYO: rice, ahi tuna, sriracha aioli, sweet shoyu, cucumber, mango, pineapple, avocado, crispy onion, and then drizzles of both the same sauces above (it was def saucy, which I like!)

Cheap and uncomfortable chairs that are already broken and cracking from use

Please, I am begging you guys to invest in actual furniture for your dining room because these $1.99 Temu chairs that are literally splitting against the pressure from the legs when you sit on them are NOT IT.

Clean restaurant with delicious, healthy options. All ingredients are fresh and high quality. The pre-made bowls are a good choice and save you a bit versus build your own pricing. You can remove ingredients for free, but it's extra to add any.

Mango-Miso Salmon

First time trying FreshFin and it was amazing! Jacey the cashier was so friendly and helping explain the menu and make recommendations. The mango miso salmon and firecracker chicken bowls were sooo delicious! We added a side of the fire sauce and that made the bowls so much more amazing. We also tried the side crab salad and that was also very good as well. The restaurant was very clean and appealing. We will be back again!

Spicy Tuna

I wish this place was closer to my house - I had a dental appt nearby and decided to try this place out. I got the spicy tuna bowl and it was extremely satisfying and delicious. I placed a mobile order so my order was ready right when I got there - it was waiting for me on the shelf marked "mobile orders". The place was extremely clean and the folks working there were very friendly. I will definitely be back!

Coconut curry with greens and cabbage base
Yvette P.

Ordered the Coconut Curry with shrimp. I turned mine into a salad using mixed greens and red cabbage as my base. I chose shrimp. You choose the protein. This is so flavorful and delicious. My friend told me about this place, it's my go-to now for healthy and delicious food.

Cilantro Chicken

I love to grab Fresh Fin to go for a quick lunch or dinner. There is a decent amount of space to sit down and eat and the staff is really friendly! If you are ordering to go, I'd order on the app ahead of time. I would say it's about a 15-20 minute wait on a weekday for lunch for a bowl. I had the chicken cilantro bowl and it was super good! I'd definitely recommend, just make sure you're not in a rush!

The staff was a bit hard to understand and when I explained we were first timers, she slowed down her speaking a bit and that helped. Be prepared to order you full meal right away as they then prepare the ingredients in the kitchen for preparation at the table. It appears to be traditional to be entertained by the chef, which we did expect, however I was not prepared to have a broccoli launched at me without warning. We each were hit in the face which was not a lot of fun. Maybe we could be asked first next time? I know many people enjoy this but we were in the middle of a conversation when the food started flying. Kids will love this! The food was prepared wonderfully well. A medium rare steak was perfect as was the medium one requested. A quick and efficient prep was impressive and there was a large amount of food on our plates before long. They have a happy hour that is really reasonable, M-Th 4:30-6:00. We will also be back to take advantage of that option. You can choose to sit in the traditional dining room or the hibachi area. We really enjoyed the hibachi option just for the pleasure of watching our food being prepared well in front of us. Plenty of parking in this relatively innocuous building near the mini-golf place. But it is worth a visit. The food is worth the reasonable prices.

The restaurant is in a tucked away strip mall and is modest in size and decor. The strip mall also contains hidden treasures like a Chinese bakery/BBQ and an Asian store. We went early on a Saturday evening with friends. The service was excellent, although with some staff there were language hurdles. No matter - everyone made it work and we were left with an abundance of amazing food at a reasonable price. Wine and beers are served, as well as smoothies and other non-alcoholic drinks. BF ordered crab rangoon as a starter, which was good. He liked it more than I did, but it was nice and crispy. I just didn't think it compared to other dishes. My vegetable egg roll was very good as well, but nothing terribly unique. He went bold on the entree and ordered the pork intestine and blood cake dish. He really enjoyed it and said it was quite spicy. The portions are generous and he did bring a lot home. I ordered the homestyle tofu, which normally has pork. I got it without to make it vegetarian friendly. The textures were very good and the sauce was intensely flavorful, but mild. I also ordered a supplementary dish of braised mushrooms and Shanghai greens. Everyone at the table enjoyed this dish, particularly the greens, which are a variety of bok choy, called pac choy. The mushrooms were wonderful, with the texture of wood ears. I also had plenty of leftovers to eat the next day. Our friends ordered the Szechuan spicy pork dumplings and they got rave reviews. My cousin did say they were not overly spicy. She went on to order the sizzling black pepper beef, which she said was good, but not nearly as unique or deeply flavored as the other dishes. Her husband ordered the pork intestine with clear noodles, which he enjoyed but said was extremely spicy. He did leave a lot of sauce behind since it was so hot. He also had the ox tendon and maw in spicy sauce, which came with chopped peanuts on top. He seemed really pleased with that dish. We agreed that we would happily go back to explore the menu more. Everything was excellent and I thought the prices were generally quite reasonable, especially for the quantity of food. I do wish the menu had more descriptive text, so I could familiarize myself with the dishes. The choices are many and overwhelming and the menu is huge. I'd also love to see a symbol for vegetarian options since it's very hard to know otherwise and many of the vegetable dishes included pork or other meat. As we left the restaurant was getting increasingly busy with people waiting by the door for seats. This is a popular place for good reason.

It seems…read morethey are always busy, but the staff also does a good job getting guests seated, managing the wait list, getting food served and tables turned without rushing the guests. The Spicy Pork Dumplings have become my go-to appetizer, and the fried spring rolls are also very good. On a most recent visit, we ordered hot pot. Our server brought us the sheet to make our selections. You can choose from mild broth, spicy broth, or half tray of each. The spicy is pretty hot with lots of red chili peppers soaking in it, so I scooped out the chili peppers to keep rhe flavor but lessen the impact on my palate. For 2 guests, I recommend choosing 3 items from the list, maybe 2 protein and one veggie or 2 veggie and one protein to start. You can order more if you finish and need more. This is in addition to the two appetizers you will choose, which is included with rhe hot pot dinner. It's a great value! Sze Chuan remains on my short list of go-to's for Chinese dining, and I look forward to my next visit, whenever that may be.

There seemed to be no one working at the host/hostess station by the door or at the bar. We had to wait several minutes before someone noticed us to seat us. The chicken pad thai was a HUGE portion and looked/smelled incredible. I definitely want to try this in the future. The waiter was nice and attentive without being annoying. A few times ago, the service was not good and just cleanliness was t good either. Floors dirty and windows filthy etc. But we thought we'd give it a try again. Tonight when we sat down at the table. The server came promptly, which was great! We just ordered waters and wanted to eat, so we ordered right away! After we ordered, I looked down and noticed there was rice in between the table placemat under both mats and also on the other side was dried sauce and chunks of food stuck onto the table. Simple mistake and but we switched tables. Right when we sat down, I took the wine glasses and slid them to the end of the table as we ordered water, and I figured they would take them. As I was moving them, I noticed that there was lipstick marks on one of them. As for the service, it started out well, but then he basically never came back to the table and other servers were helping us. The food was hot and good but the overall experience wasn't good and now being 2 back to back times and for the price, we will not be back, sadly. The restaurant is getting to be gross and use to be a nice dining place. Not it's like a fast food cheap feeling place that's overpriced for what you experience. So many better places now.
