I was so excited when I heard about fresh flours new location in white center! I had a great experience at their beacon hill location and expect nothing less at the new one. It must be a trend for fresh flours to open in areas that are up and coming. I must admit I do wish they were closer up north because it would be easier for me to come here every day! This location exceeds the one at beacon a bit due to their bigger selection of goods. With only 30 mins to closing, I snagged a green tea latte, Macarons - Passion fruit, black currant, caramel espresso, yuzu, earl grey, raspberry, green tea, an Azuki red bean croissant, a pack of cookies - green tea, sesame, chocolate almond and a Green tea pound cake. I don't come down to white center often so I decided to go for a huge haul. Everything was delicious! The green tea latte even came with latte art and it wasn't too sweet. The macarons were really good! Probably my second favorite in Seattle after Crumble & Flake. It was light and airy and very true to its flavor! Mr favorites were the yuzu and earl grey. The black currant tastes like jam filling in the middle. They're a little small compared to other bakeries but it's $1.50! The azuki red bean croissant was really unique. I've never seen that done before, I wish they made a matcha one along with it. It was crispy, flaky and crunchy. The red bean filling had a soft paste like texture. Really enjoyed the Savory Pithivier although I wasn't sure what exactly was in it aside from mozzarella cheese! The puff pastry was flakey and delicious!Make sure to have it warmed up! I'm so freaking excellent to announce that Fresh Flours Bakery has opened a White Center location (or per their website, "West Seattle"). This new location joins Beacon Hill, Ballard and Phinney Ridge. As the other reviews mention, they're working out the kinks like any other new business. Yet, they're getting quite the foot traffic and I'm happy for that. Seating is limited and slightly awkward, but the pleasant music, wood details and flowers make up for it. I recommend you come early for the pastries, which are made Fresh (no surprise given the name) in the rear behind the cafe. I came for my favorite item, the Matcha Green Tea Muffin with Azuki (or as the Caucasians spell it, Adzuki). I recommend it warmed up--while the barista cut it in half and gave me a pad of butter to spread. Oishii!! Their Double Baked Almond Croissant also caught my eye and I stole the last one for a snack later. Must be that good! While they serve Stumptown Coffee--not my top choice--they also have loose leaf teas (a wide spread not only from Serendipity but elsewhere). I'll be coming back for the Earl Grey that was recommended by the staff. Plus I love that they offer a London Fog on the drink menu. Super cute bakery & coffee shop The mochas and green tea lattes are delicious! They use Morning Glory chai, which is not favorite though. The baked treats are tasty. The green tea muffin is my favorite and the earl grey macaroon is a close second. They also have Molly's prepackaged breakfast and lunch items with selections for vegetarians. We are so excited to have this gem right down the street from us! It's true what they say- white center is the new up and coming place in seattle! We had the ham and cheese croissant which was so flaky and gooey! The apple Danish was like apple pie for breakfast- in my opinion the ultimate breakfast choice! We have been getting the chocolate currant croissant and it is so flaky and chewy in all the right places. There are so many other pastries that look just as inviting. Whenever I'm in Seattle visiting my best friends, they always make an effort to take me here. Each time I've come the people who there are always super kind and attentive. My go-to every time? The Quiches! They are absolutely delicious and so well made. It doesn't matter which one I've had, they're always perfect. This past time I had the Chai Turmeric Latte and it was go die for. Cute spot here in SW Seattle. They have good coffee and pastries. One of the highlights is the outdoor patio seating. What a great addition they made to the place. On one visit, I was not happy that the staff did not enforce their own sign that said pets weren't allowed. A couple were blatantly violating this, and no one asked them to move outside. There's a reason for the health code the way it is, and owners and staff need to follow it or have the code changed. read more

Used their online ordering service, picked it up exactly as they instructed. Half of our food was missing, asked if they would send us the food they failed to originally prepare via Uber Eats and they would not. They simply refused to fix their mistake in a way that didn't further inconvenience my family. We asked them to refund the food they did not provide us and are still waiting as of this post. Why do so many locally owned companies consistently have such poor customer service? Very disappointing, glad we have alternatives going forward. read more

I've been going here for about five months on my way to work. Coffee or whatever I get is always exactly how it should be. All I can say is WOW! I went there maybe 2 years ago- ish, and there was almost no one there, hardly any baked goods. Wasn't impressed and didn't go back for a long time. Then people were telling me how great it was. Realizing that I must have gone right after they opened and maybe they weren't grooved in yet, I went back twice this week. OMG. Soooo delicious. The pastries are top notch. The staff is friendly and efficient. The selection was HUGE. My husband and I loved everything. This is the cutest and best little coffee shop! I live not too far and come and get myself their mini banana loaf and drip coffee! They are always SO welcoming and all the baked goods are so yummy! My daughter as a treat always gets their ginger snickerdoodle cookie and it is delicious! The place is a perfect size and a great vibe! I was pleasantly surprised by the variety of French pastries available at this little bakery in White Center, West Seattle. It's actually not so small once you step inside - most of the space is dedicated to baking on premises. Reasonable prices for excellent croissants, quiche and all variety of pastries. They have real Chaussons here (French half-moon shaped turnovers) - I had a divine apple and blueberry variety on my visit..HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Excellent espresso drinks. Place is pretty good. I usually base my opinion on a place based on their croissants. This time though I tried some of their savory pastries, mostly because I can't turn down caramelized onions. Super pumped to have visited this coffee shop! After moving to the Southern part of West Seattle, I was pumped to find my new coffee spot, and this just might be it! We ventured here on a Saturday morning to have a coffee and a pastry and sit outside for a little date :). First off, super cute shop with plenty of on street parking. My husband ordered a cappuccino and I tried their Chai! Both were great! We also got a pastry, pear almond croissant which they warmed up! It was served fast and with a smile. Fresh Flours makes some of the best Almond Croissants that I have ever had. I usually get an almost croissant and an Americano. I was recently wondering if someone different bakes the croissants during the week than on the weekend, because during the week they are usually brown and crunchy, but on the weekends they are pure melted heaven. A savory, flaky, buttery pocket filled with just the right amount of sausage (and leeks?). It's like eating a meat pie or a pot pie but without hating yourself afterwards. We are regulars here most every weekend, it's gets busy but the line moves fairly quickly. They are friendly, clean, and makes great coffee compared to lots of other coffee shops I've been to. I recommend checking out their patio with your pets. This place hands down have the best varieties of very consistent pastries. I was impressed with the intricate baking techniques that goes into creating these, coming from someone who went to culinary school. Super cute litto shop!! My nieces and I wanted to stop and get snacks before we hit roxhill park and we seen this lil gem on the way. It's bright and happy on the inside with the cutest decor and they are dog friendly with outdoor seating! White center is really stepping their game up.
