I love Fresh Flours and especially this location. The staff are always so friendly and welcoming. Service is quick and the pastries are some of my favorite in Seattle! I also love the breakfast burritos that they carry and sell. The indoor space is a bit smaller but there is also outside seating and also plenty of street parking in the area.

Lovely cafe with a fun and engaging barista. The location is terrific - just around the corner from the link station. It could have been the time of day (early afternoon), but the selection was quite limited. Great service - I couldn't decide between a basic chocolate chip cookie or double chocolate. The barista asked how much I liked sweets - not much - then go for the basic version. The double chocolate is quite sweet. I appreciated the candor. The price was fair. Have to say, though, the cookie was below average. It was baked well, not greasy or too sweet, and plenty of chips. But I have been on a chocolate chip quest for months now. This wasn't it's One of the croissants probably would have been a better choice. Next time.

This is a great local cafe to go hang out with a friend, get some work done, or grab a quick pastry and drink. It's conveniently located by the light rail station, has average prices for Seattle bakeries, service is quick, and it's not too noisy inside. Some of their pastries have Asian inspired flavors, making their items more unique. Their twice baked almond croissant is pretty good, if anything it could use a little more filling, however the pastry is so flaky and delicious.

Great spot to come hang out in. They have coffee and pastries! I got the cold brew, which was pretty strong. I was left a little bit jittery. The peach danish with custard under the fruit was delicious and crisp. The service was fast here too.

Such a cute spot near the light rail ! We stopped here before another bakery and had an amazing biscuit and London fog. The service was friendly, attentive and fast. It was great! Looked like a great place to read or study. My London fog wasn't too sweet which I enjoyed. My husband even said this morning he wishes we could've stopped there more than once on our vacation.

Popped in for breakfast, got the green tea and red bean muffin since it's one of their staples and I wasn't a fan. The matcha was too heavy handed (imo) and the red bean was lacking. I did grab the double chocolate gluten free cookies and those were incredible, super chocolatey and decadent. Service is friendly, space is cute. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating (and parking)!

Top quality pastries and coffee served by consistently friendly and efficient staff. I have never had a bad experience here. It's clean, cute and air conditioned inside with nice outdoor seating. Truly a neighborhood favorite.

Cute little coffee shop on beacon hill. They have indoor and outdoor seating available. I believe their baked goods are from their west seattle location brought in daily, so they're freshly made each morning . They have a variety of laminated pastries, cookies, breads. I came here a few years back when they first opened this location and I didn't really have the best impression of their coffee or service but I know it can vary depending on the barista anywhere you go. I decided to give it another try this past weekend & I've already visited again since. The service was nice and quick :) I ordered an iced latte w/ vanilla cardamom and oat milk, came around to $9 after tip. It was a pretty good coffee. will be visiting again to try the pastries since the first time I went on the weekend I was only in the mood for a drink. it was around noon and there was a good amount of product. Second time I went it was around 4 & all of their pastries were gone, they close at 5 so makes sense. :) will be back to try their pastries!

Five stars for Keith, barrista fabulousa Five stars for the Vibe, atmosphere, doggy treats, and open design No stars for not having vegan options 75 cents for non dairy which is too much. 25cents ok Also isn't it funny how it's just a straight charge it doesn't matter if you get a large or small. This is an industry wide issue. But some places are starting to not do any of charges for the non-dairy milk. It's great not to penalize vegans and lactose intolerant folks. I would come back here. I come to the oak vegan/vegetarian restaurant which does not have espresso. I walk five minutes down the street to get my espresso from Fresh Flours and return to Oak for brunch. YUM

Twice. Baked. Chocolate. Almond. Croissant. I've never had anything like it and I never will again. Such a lovely texture taste and look, it's a crispy flaky croissant with a cookie like exterior and stuffed with almond paste and chocolate. Unbelievable creation!

Warm Azuki red bean croissant (instantly addicted) and 16oz cappuccino w/ extra shot (good)!
    Mayu D.

Randomly selected this coffee shop to grab a morning cappuccino in the area and tried this red bean croissant! Service: nice and quick (still offered to warm up the croissant and it's worth it) Cappuccino w/ extra shot): decent Azuki red bean croissant: regret not buying the last two! It's worth the trip to eat this! Price: reasonable ($15 for 2 x 16oz cappuccino w/ extra shot in each and the croissant. This would definitely be double the price at Starbucks reserve although their croissant is good, too!)

Such a cute little pear pastry

Eschew Wifi-enabled tech-absorption in favor of real conversations, long-form thoughts exchanged with multiple intelligences called for in real human connection, or the simple joy of imagination and day dreaming. I love their decorative little tables facing the quiet Capitol Hill side-street itself not particularly attractive -- but which offers a pause for a bite and a sip without the capitalist rushtime nipping at your heels. I've had their stellar and inventive-flavored macarons, but their cakes are no slouches either. The rose pistachio coffee cake was delectable. I make this place a destination because if I am lucky I can get one of those bay-window tables for a vegetarian quiche or Spanish tortilla washed down by coffee. I noticed the use of fresh herbs and the sense of a good ingredients and home-touch hand with their plates, as opposed to the commonplace, harried, sloppy kitchen production. Their drip coffee was too acidic for my taste (I prefer nutty balanced, chocolatey flavor). Next time I would get a latte. A higgledy-piggledy antique-style bathroom in the back is another sign of a time-hewn, characterful place. The brickwork in their narrow back patio is inviting but on a recent Sunday morning had been snagged for a private party. Finally a note to the artful wall tributes to heroic workers martyrs from U.S. history. The cafe elevates the spirit of care for the working person, which is noteworthy. Counter to the loudest mouthpieces of the modern era that would erase these assassinated/ crushed heroes that fought for the wellbeing and life of working people, you know that it is these heroes' spirit of courage that continues to outshine the capitalist drivel and machine mind of the majority.

I was pleasantly surprised (and amused) to find their macarons with custom printing at the "REVIVE I-5" booth at the University Street Fair. I was amused enough to write a separate review for them. The quality of the artwork and print colors are fantastic and vibrant with the rainbow colors. Please see photo. If I was interested in custom macarons, I would most definitely order some from Macadons. The flavor in this case is a simple vanilla, which has its charms, though I typically buy other flavors. The shell doesn't have the characteristic slight crispy, which is understandable since these are not fresh from the store. The inside is a very creamy filling that squished out on the sides as I bite down. Everyone has their own texture preferences. I personally like it less creamy. I normally buy their ice cream macarons, but these are still very good. The individual boxes make them great for small gifts.

I had a friend gathering to go to the same night, and wanted to bring some desserts so this place came to mind. For it being very wet and rainy, this place feels like a nice relief from all that with the bright lighting and the cafe-like feel of the place. There's a grassy wall near the back for photo ops, and there are some tables, window seating and front couch seating. They don't only sell macarons here; there's also coffee, tea, and macaron ice cream sandwiches. I got a baker's dozen, which comes with 12 randomly assorted regular-sized macarons in a small container. This particular one came with three limited flavors: red velvet, cran-orange and a pear-like flavor. They were marked separately on a card provided with the box that shows all their regular offerings of macaron flavors. This came to $36 compared to $40 for the same number of macarons if you wanted to choose specifically which flavors you wanted instead. I also got myself a Thai tea macaron ice cream sandwich; each one is prepackaged and $8. Both people working at the counter were extremely helpful in helping me decide what to get, and explaining the differences between both sets. Flavor wise, I was not disappointed: - My Thai tea macaron ice cream sandwich hit the spot! The macarons did not come apart too easily and I could still maintain the shape of the sandwich throughout. Ice cream consistency is great, and the Thai tea flavor is not too strong. The whole thing is not too sweet by itself either, and this goes for all of their macarons in general. From other visits to their stand during conventions, I recommend their Cap'n Crunch berry, lemon, peach and durian flavors for ice cream sandwiches. - One of my friends and I loved the Vietnamese coffee flavored macaron. Taste is strong like phin-brewed coffee and it didn't have much sweet of a taste, something that would not have done well for this flavor. - The cran-orange and blueberry flavors were our other favorites; both had tastes that reminded me a lot of their respective flavors. - The box also had dark chocolate, vanilla, ube, Thai tea, pistachio and salted caramel flavors. All were decent and tasty. What I like about this place is that the taste for all of their macarons is exactly as advertised and never bogged down by the flavor that macaron shells are usually full of. I can't eat too many of these at once since they can be too sweet over time, so I would save these for a group setting where you can share these. By themselves, they are a great way to get your sweet tooth the love it needs!
