Food: tried their squash harvest loaf and it was delicious. Not too sweet either! Service: great!!someone else took my matcha latte but they instantly made myself a matcha latte which the matcha i would rate it 6/10 Ambiance: very nice, a lot of folks are working in the building so pretty chill

VERY CUTESY, VERY DEMURE! I finally made it to Olympia Coffee after wanting to go for a while. The café has an open space with plenty of seating, lots of outlets, and great natural lighting. Perfect for studying or working. They offer a range of drinks, including a coffee flight to try multiple options. The service was great--friendly smiles on a Tuesday morning! I ordered a London Fog with almond milk (no soy available). Their pastry selection is small, but they have hot breakfast sandwiches and bagels. The café checked all my aesthetic boxes, and I spent a happy 2 hours there, even while working. PS: Parking can be tough, so go later in the afternoon if you can. Since the cafe is on the corner of a busy street. Rating: 4/5 London Fog: Good, but a bit too sweet for my taste.

Absolutely loved this coffee shop! We went twice on our trip and it was great. I got the chai latte and it was made to perfection and so warm and perfect. I also got a savory pastry which was yummy & great for a small little treat for my breakfast with my coffee. The inside is really cute and a lot of people seem to work from there which is great. The service was so nice and friendly each time we went. Definitely would come back & seems like they have a few different locations.

Houjicha latte and sweater weather latte

Drinks were quite expensive imo. My houjicha latte could've used more houjicha flavor. I could taste it but would've liked it stronger. I tried my friend's sweater weather latte and thought it was very warming and pretty flavorful. They have non-dairy milk (almond and oat). Lemon chocolate croissant was ok. I thought the croissant dough would've had like lemon peel shaved into it but it was a lemon cream inside that dripped out like crazy when we bit into it, so I didn't like that. They also had other pastries like kouign-amann, chocolate croissant, cookies from Low Rider, and other pastries. Also they had other items like sauces, matcha, and chocolate for sale, as well as okazu pan from Umami Kushi. We paid $6.70 for the houjicha latte w/ oat milk, $7.55 for sweater weather latte with oat milk, and $6.75 for the croissant. Both drinks were 12oz. Service was very nice and kind. The place itself was very clean and I liked the aesthetic (warm, with light colored wood and white). Lots of seating but it was packed with people.

Great coffee shop in Columbia City. Love their coffee and pastries. I recently had the cinnamon roll and it was so delicious! I also love how they feature fun gifts/goods like granola, olive oil, chili oil, etc. The space is very nice and roomy though it can get pretty busy!

If you're a coffee enthusiast, you'll love this spot! The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. The coffee is of good quality and flavorful, clearly made with care. The baristas are friendly and assisted me with my choice. I went with the Trifecta which comes with an espresso shot, homemade coffee, and cortado. I also appreciated the selection of pastries and light bites, perfect for a quick snack or breakfast. Highly recommend.

Drink: I had the seasonal Sesame hazelnut latte with oat milk. It was very tasty! Service: the barista was very kind and friendly. She made great recommendations and asked me about my day and my plans as she made my drink. Ambiance: for a Tuesday evening it was pretty popular! It had lots of little tables to do work or meet up. Location is great! Would definitely come back and recommend.

A very nice coffee shop in Columbia City neighborhood. It's in an area of very nice shops and restaurants. We came into the neighborhood hoping to grab some quick breakfast at the break spot up the street But it was super crowded and had a line of about 20 people. So long-story-short, we decided to just grab coffee and a pastry. We're glad we did as we came into this bright and nicely situated coffee shop. The staff was friendly and helpful. The coffee drinks were nicely made. We also chose a delicious twice baked almond croissant. Definitely happy we dropped in and we'll definitely come back next time we get the chance.

The first place I went to for food once I landed in Seattle was Olympia Coffee. I was so hungry and tired that I just needed something quick and easy. I ordered the Ruby Oolong Tea ($3.95) and tried out the Mama Mozz Melt and the Jerk Chicken Umami Kushi. You can't mess up a tea bag in hot water, so nothing to note about the tea, though I did like that it was really strong. If you don't want tea that strong, definitely take it out after it steeps for a few minutes. The melt was a great quick breakfast. It tasted a lot fresher than a breakfast sandwich that you would get at Starbucks and has a lot more flavor. The umami kushi was good as well, though definitely more carb and protein focused and no vegetables. Everything came out really quickly so our visit took maybe 10-15 minutes. Service was friendly, and love that they pay extra attention to those of us who request milk substitutes in our drinks. I saw a lot of people sitting down with laptops out so it looks like a good spot to get some work or studying done, since the music wasn't too loud or distracting either. Really glad to have come here for my first food/drink experience in Seattle!

    Terrible excuse for a matcha

Genuinely the worst matcha I've ever had. Imagine you are having a bad day and you wonder to yourself huh I should treat myself and go get a nice matcha. WRONG. You would think with how poor the service is that you would at least get a good matcha out of it. Rude barista- even more rude matcha that I received. I should have known not to trust a random coffee shop but at least I did so you wouldn't have to. This is the worst day I have had all year all thanks to this matcha. Not only is the taste bad but look at that disgusting color. I'm never even stepping back into this part of town. This matcha made me want to die. $10 for the worst matcha I have ever had.

This is a nice coffee shop in the Olympia area of Seattle. Limited seating, because most tables have two chairs, and each table is taken up with one person working on the computer so there is not enough seats. I ordered the mocha, which was not sweet, unlike Starbucks, but it was hot. The barista was friendly, and offered a wide variety of pastries, all of which look delicious..

Super cute coffee shop. I came here with my boyfriend to get some work done and wanted to try out an unfamiliar place! I love the vibes of this place- it's on a busy street corner and it just gives off happy energy. Super spacious and friendly staff. We both got an iced chai tea latte-normally I prefer sweeter over spicier, but I liked this one. My boyfriend got the cheese cream danish-the fruit was a little dry and not as fresh & crispy as he preferred. He didn't put high expectations on it though since the main focus is on the coffee. We will def come back sometime! :)

They serve delicious local coffee and tea as well as local pastries (from both Macrina and some baked in house), as well as breakfast sandwiches, focaccia, and also vegan soft serve made with oat milk. The soft serve has rotating weekly flavors, and I was lucky to try to orange creamsicle, which was delicious swirled with classic vanilla. I even got some sprinkles with it! For coffee, they have all the classics as well as some seasonal specials with in-house made syrups. Everything we ordered was delicious that we actually ended up getting 2 lattes while we were there. Apart from the food and drinks, they also have a plethora of local artwork for sale, paintings displayed on the walls, glasswork and ceramics at the windows, and tie dyed shirts made by the owner himself, plus more. They also sell pokemon cards and run an actual Play! Pokemon league. It runs every Saturday from noon to 4 PM and is run by the owner himself. It's a great place for both newbies and kids trying to get into pokemon and seasoned veterans alike. You even get discounted coffee during the pokemon session! The owner himself is a very personable guy and is very knowledgeable all about his products, and is always happy to chat about coffee, art, or Pokemon. There's a clean maintained bathroom in the back of the cafe and self-pour water stations to make your stay enjoyable. I found it very delicious and light and refreshing. If you're looking for a Matcha, the Matcha flavor isn't very strong and it mostly tastes like an earl grey latte, but it is delicious and creamy. I ended up coming back and getting it again but with extra Matcha foam for additional Matcha flavor. Absolutely loved this drink. I also got a Matcha latte with black sesame cold foam. I've had a black sesame Matcha from somewhere else before, and the sesame flavor was very light, so that was what I was expecting, but was met with a very strong sesame flavor. I was not a huge fan as it felt overpowering and I couldn't taste the matcha. However, this is just a personal preference thing and if you like black sesame you should definitely try it!
