I only get pastries. But they have sandwiches, Espressp and Tea too. They have 3 tables inside their A/C space. But outside there are benches and places on the rock to sit. If you are taking the Flixbus, out of town, stop here to get breakfast or a snack. Going to a Game, stop here first. read more

3/3/2025- we stumbled upon this place after getting off the train at the Chinatown station. The smell of fresh pastries is what drew us in. It's a small cafe with about 4 tables inside. They have their breads and savory pastries on the left side along the wall and their sweets in the middle display case. They have a variety of espresso drinks and seasonal flavors. We got the honey lavender latte hot. It was just ok. The lavender and honey was subtle but so was the espresso. I wish the espresso was stronger. As for the pastries we got, we enjoyed every single one! The hot dog bun, garlic bomb, hazelnut blueberry muffin & matcha loaf. The location is convenient to the trains and buses and the store itself was clean. I do wish there was a restroom inside or nearby. Was happy to try this location after having a good experience with a location in San Diego for a family party cake that was bought. Unfortunately things got off to a bad start as the employee was not friendly or very helpful. Didn't seem like he wanted to be there. I picked out a couple of pastries and a macaron which were all good but when it came to choosing a cake, the employee was not helpful or knowledgeable. I just chose one of the ones that looks aesthetically pleasing and left without a thank you. Now when it came to eating the cake, it was terrible! So bland and no trace of fresh fruit. I went to order two slices of sweet potato cake for a special event. When I got home, one of the slices had mold on it. The other slice looked ok, so we started eating it. However, we noticed that there was another piece of mold on the bottom of the cake slice we were eating. I was quite upset, and my family was as well as we were really looking forward to sharing and enjoying the cake together. It's my first time to the bakery, so I'm not familiar with how they wrap up the baked goods. I agreed to a paper bag with the impression all of the items I picked out was going into the one bag. The items they did have were all wrapped which was nice and but no trays to hold the breads. We picked: - cream cheese bread: not sweet, not salty. It was just a thin amount of cream cheese in a plain bread. Seems like it was stale. A little pricey for $3.50 - garlic twist: a sweet cheesy garlic-y bread that had a nice crisp from the cheese curtain and soft fluffy bread. Better if it was warm. A bit small for $5, but it was the best bread we got. - melon bread: had a nice subtle melon taste. I was expecting the crust of the bread to be a little more crunchy. But it was more stale tasting. I've been to the Tous Les Jours at the Bellevue location and now this location, at the edge of International District (ID). None of my visits have been particularly memorable, never "that's so good I want to go back and have it again soon". It's not bad, just not outstanding. Average, maybe? The location of this bakery is on 5th, at the west edge of ID. For many folks that eat at the ID and then go to a game, this location is pretty good to grab a snack and enter T-Mobile Stadium, which allows outside food. Given it's later in the day, the selection is as-expected - light. Not dinging them for that. I chose a butter and chocolate madeleine. The rest of the bread products didn't look interesting; they just look bready. The macarons in the case were attractive, but not enough to entice me into buying. I preordered on phone kid's jungle party cake after looking at their website cake options and when I got there they couldn't find the cake and went to back and I saw another staff and front counter guy grabbed cake box like they found it but instead bringing to me right away they both disappeared to back kitchen area and came out few mins later. so I should have known this was a red flag. when I got home and realized cake design was different from online ordering so I called questioning and he said they changed the design ..the online is old design when they first open. he did apologized and I moved on. but when I took the cake to bday party and I was expecting high expectation with taste and texture..but worst cake ever. so dried that you can taste hard dry spots. this was worst than using Betty crocker cake mix. so this is what I think happened...the cake i ordered was never made and they just grabbed old premade cake they had in back walk in closet and that guy in back started to put decorations on top and funny thing was one of character piece wasn't even facing the front with rest so whoever had no acknowledge of cake decorating did random arrangement. and this is cake was $46 for 8inch. Since many of the items here, quite popular, it seems, they are always cycling in and out, which means that everything is quite fresh. Gf picked up some treats from here and said the shop was really cute, service was good and "we are going back, everything looked good." Sooo yeah, I'm bummed I didn't get to check this spot out but I'm excited because it sounds like a cross between Bakery Nouveau and 85 Degree. I tried the red bean filled donut and the red bean filled deep fried mochi. Both were really good and different enough but also similar (red bean paste). The donut was light and chewy without being dense and it was covered in a dusting of sugar (yum). The mochi was dense, chewy and not too sweet, really yummy. The woman inside was so sweet and had great customer service. She informed us of how much cheaper it is to order in person if we're coming to pick up. And it's always a fast transaction so that was good to know. I didn't eat till later because I had to rush back to work but the croquette filling was delicious. For Valentine's Day, my sweetheart bought two cakes, taro cream bun and milk bread. The cakes were very tiny, but looked delectable. Decoration was pleasing to the eye, but when I bit into the strawberry cake, the strawberry was old- not fresh, and very sweet. The matcha with strawberry jam had a good balance, we wish it was a bit bigger for the price. The taro cream bun was way too sweet and unfortunately we could not finish it. I've visited twice now and have to say I like this place. It's conveniently located close to work in Seattle's China Town so it might even be a little too convienant since I enjoy everything I've tried so far. My last visit I tried the toasted cheese sandwich with ham in the hot case alone the wall but the first time I stopped in for a few pastries an was inpressed. The prices aren't bad and the staff is friendly, welcoming and helpful. There are many more items I plan to try on my next visit. The croissants dipped in chocolate looks yummy and the pastry I tried with spinach reminded me of Paris. It's easy to walk past this place but if you know the area around Union Station in Seattle's Chinatown, it's right across kitty corner from Starbuck's and Specialty's bakery. I had to pick something up at Uwajimaya so during my break I hopped on a 5th Ave bus to take me down to Chinatown/International District. I got off the bus and waited for the walk signal but before I crossed the street I saw an employee with a cart walk through a propped open door with a sign that said "Tous Les Jours". I had no idea what Tous Les Jours meant let alone pronounce it. I took Spanish in high school because I wanted to know if my classmates were talking S so the extent of my French is this: "Voulez-vous coucher avec moi, ce soir." Sure it sounds catchy and fun when Patti LaBelle and Christina Aguilera sing it but don't tell people you know French based on this lyric. I'll spare you the embarrassment. After making my purchase at Uwajimaya I walked towards Tous Les Jours, opened the door, and realized that it was a Korean/French bakery. Some pastries had Korean writing on the plastic packaging. The shop is quite small but they do have a dining area. They have trays and tongs off to the side and they have lots of baked items to choose from. When I purchased several pastries from the case I noticed they wrap the items in tissue paper. This is so much better for the environment since there's less plastic going into the landfill unlike another bakery close by who wraps each individual item in plastic. I stopped going there because of their wastefulness and I'm glad this bakery is conscientious of resources. I was so happy when I saw they sold Art of Tea. My favorite kind is Earl Grey Creme. I won't have to buy it online anymore. I can just come here and get it. They took over the spot which was formerly Tully's located next to Wells Fargo and across from the waterfall sculpture fountain and Starbucks. They haven't advertised that it's their soft opening. That's fine. I get that staff needs to be trained up before a grand opening. The idea of being bombarded by customers can be frazzling. I'm not sure if there will be hype since they have other locations within the region. However, there are so many ways to get here (bus, light rail and sounder train) they may have a long line in the near future. read more

My current favorite bakery in Seattle. The employees are all kind and ready to assist. The baked goods taste as pretty as they look. My favorite so far is their fresh milk breads because it is so fluffy and soft. The inside actually has a milk filling that is a cross on texture between a pudding /custard. I also like the cream cheese custard pastry they sell because it tastes like a almond croissant filled with cream cheese. They have a lot of unique flavored breads like chestnut. A distinctly inspired Korean bakery. Bread and pastries are a late introduction in to the Korean history. Particularly, bakeries only started to expand during the 1970s, and only for those with enough money. In the Korean bakery, you do have a heavy preference to the light and fluffy dough with some local flavors (melon bread). This is a good example of a "classical" Korean bakery, that you may find in any large Korean city, with many flavorful, sweet pastries, classical Castella cakes, and some savory items like curry croquette. They also have a reasonably good coffee. Overall a nice atmosphere, very good to relax, and have a bite and a cup of tea or coffee and maybe to bring home some of the pastries. read more
