I first went to a Fresh Flours location when strolling through Ballard. I immediately fell in love with the twice baked almond croissant. Yes- I've been to Bakery Nouveau and in my opinion, the croissant here is better! Now that they have a location on Beacon Hill, I grab pastries almost every weekend! + twice baked almond croissant is consistently amazing +strawberry rhubarb galette is good + they have interesting variety of baked goods with Japanese flavors (red bean, green tea, yuzu) +/-macarons are good but pricey for the size ($1.40/ea) + variety of macarons (early grey, passion fruit, green tea, raspberry, chocolate and more) Noteworthy: *Space is small but adequate for the neighborhood *Pastries are baked at the Ballard location and brought to this location in the morning *Street parking only on surrounding streets, but plenty available *Staff is always friendly *Coffee is ok read more

Fresh Flours - raspberry, passion fruit, and yuzu macarons - Bakeries Near Me - Seattle, Washington

Stumptown rosters used at this cute little cafe! They have free WIFI, AC, bathroom, street parking all around, and lots of tables. Lots of yummy pastries, macaroons, sandwiches, yogurt and granola. It's close to the LINK station, red apple, and the bank! It's a great place to study. I never had trouble finding a trouble here. Too bad it closes at 6pm because I would love to stay longer since I can do any studying at home. Although the macaroons are kinda small, it's cheaper to buy the macaroons individually! I recommend trying Yuzu, earl grey and salted caramel! So bomb! read more

I enjoyed my mocha, and we tried the apple turnover and spinach feta croissant. Bother were really buttery and delicious. There were soo many croissant options I can't wait to return to try the other flavors. Really cool atmosphere and artwork. Will definitely be back! read more

Cute and cozy little bakery. The coffee is extremely bitter and just very bad tasting. Other than the twice baked almond crossaint(which is smaller than other places), all of the other pastries were not good at all. I especially dislike their matcha green tea muffin. Someone hyped it up so I was so excited to try it only to be disappointed. read more

GREAT local coffee shop. Just wish they had somewhere to tie up your dog outside for neighborhood walks! Also, parking isn't convenient.

Great coffee and pastries

So happy we found this little gem. Chose it based on the unique pastries offered and damn, if we weren't completely wowed with everything. The service was lovely, and the pastries were delicious. Oh, and get the vegan oat cookie. SERIOUSLY. read more

Amazing coffee and the banana bread was perfection. Take out only right now due to COVID.

This is a great spot! Big windows and great light. Everyone who works there is really friendly and helpful. Chairs are rally comfortable and while it's a small space, it is really nice. The coffee is excellent. I love the selection of pastries. There are so many and they're all great! They have great iced coffee and really awesome iced tea. I'd like to be more specific about what to get but I go here a lot. A good way to go is to ask whoever is helping you what they think might be good today. I'll say just a couple of negatives about this place. It's a little on the high price side. I don't suggest buying the coffee beans there. I know they're from stump town but each time I've bought them here they were very dried out. Also, the space is a little small and sometimes you'll find there is not a place to sit. Other than that, this spot is great! Get a drip coffee and something sweet! read more

The variety of the pastries is amazing. they are always fresh. Bonus points for providing several treats with red bean! read more

Fresh Flours - Excellent selection of pastries. - Bakeries Near Me - Seattle, Washington

Very slow. I ordered latte for over 35 minutes and they just ignored me and instead they just slaking. Disappointing

I am so happy that this bakery was opened. It is about 3 or 4 blocks from my house, for starters- it's in an awesome location. Secondly, their baked goods are amazing- by far the best from any coffee shop on Beacon Hill! The reason why they might taste a little bit crispier than some is because they are double baked- a baking technique used to make the outside of pastries beautiful and crispy on the outside, and soft and fluffy on the inside. Their pan au chocolate (aka chocolate croissants) are flaky and buttery on the outside, and buttery, soft, and just heavenly on the inside. I'm a big fan of French macarons as well, and their macarons are so freaking good. Like for real. I usually get the chocolate, the earl grey, and the salted caramel ones, but the rest are amaze balls as well, hahaha Plus, every single one of the pastries are made from scratch by the owner of the restaurants- a kind Japanese man and his wife (whose names I'm not sure of). They occasionally stop by to see how things are going. The coffee options are great too- I always get the decaf latte and it always has just the right amount of foam and bitterness to it. In addition, they are always the perfect temperature, in my opinion- nice and hot so that you can take a nice sip and not burn your tongue. The iced mochas and hot chocolate are fantastic as well. I strongly recommend Fresh Flours to anyone who happens to be in the Beacon Hill neighborhood. They are definitely my favorite place to go to for pastries and coffee. read more

Yum! Delicious coffee and amazing croissants! Limited seating indoors and always seems to be packed.

Great green tea latte and a good variety of different macaroon flavors. The green tea was smooth and not bitter at all. I liked the caramel espresso macaron I got a lot. Lots of creme in the filling, but very tasty. Kind of pricey for how small the macarons are, but they are good. I felt like the drinks were very affordable read more

I don't know what was better.... the coffee or the pastries. Yes, Seattle is known for great coffee, and this may be one of the best of the best. And the almond and cream cake that I had along with it was lick your finger to pick up every last crumb delicious. Seriously! Heaven in a cup and on a plate! read more

I just moved to the area, and I really enjoy the pastries and coffee at Fresh Flours. Shout out to Renaldo who is always so nice, friendly and helpful when I come in read more

They have a great selection of pastries in the morning. We popped in around 9am and picked up a jam and cheese croissant, breakfast sandwich, matcha latte and regular latte. Everything tasted great, if you'd like they can heat up your sandwiches. The croissant was really nice and flaky. Wasn't bad for 3.75. They also have a stamp card for their drinks. It's a great addition to the area! read more

I like this place. It has good pastries and decent coffee (but the drip coffee is really acidic). They now have a few small tables to let you sit, but they don't let you pull the shades down for whatever reason so it's always super bright. When I went today I pulled down the shade because it was too bright but then the worker there put the shade back up. They have a few chairs outside but provide no shade. The wi-fi outside is spotty. read more

Today, my husband bought 3 desserts from them. Previously, we were very pleased with the quality. But today there was almost no filling in the cupcakes; there was less than a teaspoon in its puff pie. You began to save on customers? Upset .. ( read more

Yum! Delicious banana chocolate chip loaf, raspberry white chocolate chip cookie, coconut oatmeal cookies... I discovered the stores when everything was closed during Coronavirus and am so glad I did! Everything I've eaten there has been delicious. They have a few locations. Support this local business. And have a strawberry tea! So good! read more

Found this because Besalu was closed. I was very surprised at the assortment and quality. This little shop stands it's ground against the big boys, Besalu and Nouveau quite well. Great pastries and the quiche is perfect albeit just a tad small. Loved everything we bought here.! read more

I've lived in Paris , but Fresh Flours has a great fantastic quiche. Thanks awesome!! read more

This is a great, local coffee shop that has an amazing array of pastries and lovely paninis, the ham and Brie is delightful. The place is small with a maximum inside seating of 15, but has outside seating if the Seattle weather is appropriate. read more

This is now my new favorite little coffee spot in the beacon hill area! I'm never really in the area often but I will definitely be back whenever I am. It's super close to the link lightrail station so convenient when you're on your way out. They serve sandwich house tres here and it taste super fresh. Their choice in pastries and drinks are unique compared to other basic coffee shops. The London fog is delicious here, though it does take 5 minutes to make so be patient. There isn't a ton of seating which kind of sucks. read more

I stop by on my way to work about 2-3 times a week. Great employees. They limit people inside due to covid. Pastries are my favorite. The peach and pear ones are a must try. I took a dozen to work for my colleagues and they LOVED them. read more

Nice & cozy environment. Tried the macarons & they were $1.50 each. They were fairly small, & it could've had more taste but it was ok. Customer service was nice, they were willing to switch up their drink recipes that fit to my liking. read more

Fresh Flours - Two iced coffees that were changed to our personal liking & macarons. From left to right; vanilla, chocolate, and raspberry. - Bakeries Near Me - Seattle, Washington

I came in, ordered a latte with some latte art on it, and sat down with my laptop. It's a really pretty place if you want to be indoors but still get that fresh feel of being outdoors since this place is BASICALLY made of windows! I'd go more often if I was a morning person. They also have some good eats, as far as my uncultured taste buds think so, heheh. I only wish there was more proper bicycle parking read more

It's a pretty alright cafe on beacon hill. Clear wide windows. Nice architecture. Drinks are great. No complaints here. Nice place to chill

What a great neighborhood coffee shop. The space is bright and happy and clean. The staff is always really happy and warm. I love the diversity of the staff and the customers and people are just having a good time to be here. Now, the coffee. It's great! Rich and delicious. But for me, the pastries are the star. Treat yourself and get something sweet. SO GOOD! read more

Great coffee and wonderful treats. I haven't yet had a bad pastry.

The coffee is fresh! The baked goods are delicious and fresh. We are just visiting Seattle but really enjoyed this local place!

Everything is delicious here. I especially love the hazelnut coffee cake and the paninis. Coffee is great too.

Great coffee and lots of delicious flaky pastries with Japanese fillings like yuzu or adzuki bean or more traditional chocolate and almond croissants. read more

Seriously amazing!! The pastries are super fresh and delicious, as are the drinks! The shop is super cute and the location is perfect. Plus, the employees are beyond nice and helpful.Overall this is a must!! read more

Mind-blowing chocolate almond croissant (I dare you to find a better one in Seattle) and excellent quiches. Welcoming corner location with huge windows. Great music (Feist, etc.). Super sweet baristas ("Hi! What are you up to this afternoon?" Oh, work? What kind of work do you do?"--you know, actual conversation). Free wifi. I love it here. read more

Coffee was really good, but a little expensive, in my opinion. Rio, one of the baristas, is super cool, and the service was excellent:) Environment can sometimes feel a little sterile, with white walls, but the huge windows and natural light are excellent. There isn't too much seating, so expect to have to wait or get the last seat available during most times. read more

This is the only location I've been to since it's on my way to work - everything I've had there is excellent. It can be a little slow at times but their cappuccinos and Stumptown drip coffee are great. Favorite baked goods are plain croissants and the Kale Feta GF Loaf! The double baked almond croissant here isn't as flaky and crispy as Bakery Nouveau. read more

Friendly staff. I've stopped drinking coffee, so I can't speak on their coffee, but they have a delicious green tea soy latte. My favorite pastry is the green tea azuki bean muffin. They also have some gluten free items. Cool neighborhood joint. read more

Best matcha lattes and red bean pastries every! Also very reasonably prices and it doesn't take forever to get your stuff.

Jazzed to have this great, friendly space open up in the neighborhood. The coffee's good and the seating is perfect for getting some work done with plenty of light coming in-- the matcha and azuki muffin I tried, however, was quite bitter (perhaps too heavy on the matcha powder?). Will look forward to trying out their other promising baked goods based on the positive reviews, and will certainly be back to enjoy this new hangout. read more
