I was very disappointed. I went into the salon for a fill and had a beautiful naturally round shape. I walked out and I had literal claws. I'm not sure if the lady messed up while filing but my nails were unnatural and scary looking. I immediately drove home to file them myself. $36 down the drain. Paint job and acrylic job weren't great either. I am very disappointed and I will not be going back. Maybe other services are better but this salon does not succeed when it comes to acrylics. read more

I was thoroughly underwhelmed. I'm capable of doing my own nails, but it's nice to be pampered once in a while. My friend & I weren't remotely pampered. They weren't overtly rude-just not very friendly. In fact, a customer next to us was more friendly than any of the staff. My gal pal took me here for a treat so who am I to complain but really, it was just so so. Had a mani and a pedi. The guy I had did not massage my feet, like at all only my calfs and it just was a blah pedicure in general. No grating callouses or anything. He did better on my hands but still just kinda blah. I would only recommend French Nails if you saw anyone else other than Sunny. He has an extremely bad attitude towards customers, is super sassy and rough. It is unnecessary how sassy and rude he is to his customers. He is rough and will tell you the whole time to relax your hand and continue to shake it throughout the appointment. Its an uncomfortable experience to have him do your nails. Also he chargers more than others there. Tim and Lele are awesome so I would recommend that you see them. read more

Let me sum it up: if there was an option for no stars, I would certainly be giving this salon that rating. Unfortunately, I was gravely disappointed. I came here with my mother only to receive poor service and horrendous treatment. I asked for stiletto nails, and I ended up with uneven, mis-shapen, bubbly, and visibly lumpy nails. The woman (I assume the owner because she was telling the receptionist what to charge) did my nails so fast that she cut me with the nail drill. Not to mention she tried to charge me a price that 1. did not coincide with what was listed on the price list but 2. when asked, could not explain why it was so high and claimed it was for services that were added on that I was not asked about nor did I approve. I was charged 42 dollars for the application of uneven almond tips, a lumpy gel base topped with a simple nail-polish and clear coat. (I didn't even get the typical acrylic powder on my nails!! it was a plain, normal china glaze nail polish). I was so frustrated at that point that I did not ask the woman to fix my nails because she was in an argument with my mom about prices. Needless to say, the pricing was awful, the service was worse, but the lack of honesty was by far was the most frustrating. I will never be coming back. read more

I had Tim the first time 3 weeks ago and he did a beautiful new set of white tip acrylic nails for my class reunion. $49.00 but worth it as he left plenty of white for my next fill to be just as good. The acrylic began to separate and eventually turned ugly yellow. I went in at three weeks (with one nail off) to get them redone. Unfortunately Tim was off and the young man I got did not cut off the old yellowed stuff but put acrylic over the top. I told him all the way through that it was looking terrible but he didn't offer any suggestions like take them off but finished them up with the uglies showing through. They couldn't stay clear as I wanted so he says, you'll just have to paint them. How about a holiday color? I was so upset I just said fine paint them red. He applied the color so poorly that I had to ask him to go back and get all the way to the edge of the nails. This cost me $43.00 ($6.00 less than a whole new set would've been). Now I'm home and I hate them. I'm 66 and red nails feel gaudy to me and match nothing. I went to see about a color change but the sign said it would be $30.00 more dollars! I really wanted to like this place but I'm not happy. read more

Disheveled would be one way to describe the chaotic ambiance of French Nails and Spa. Junk was strewn all over the tables, chairs, and the reception area. I'm only giving this salon two stars because the receptionist was amazing and so understanding. Manicure was bad, all he did was rub on lotion and paint my nails. Didn't trim them, or use the skin clipper things well. But that's fine I guess. THE NAIL PERSON I had was so disturbing. He was making racist comments, saying how he wanted to TRY HALLUCINOGENS and that's what he was really "interested with right now". I'm 16 months sober, and to have some one talking to me about his friend's drug trips is not nail salon talk. He was also saying that people develop being gay! They completely took advantage of me and added on a bunch of features without asking me. I got ripped off and paid double than what I normally do for the same service at other salons. I've been going to this salon for a great many years. The prices are comparable and sometimes less than most salons I have been to. While my nails aren't always perfect when I get acrylic, they are darn close, and they are happy to fix what I point out. Also, the staff has always treated me really well! I recently came for a pedicure, and as expected, had a perfect experience. It was toward the end of the day (after work) and the place was hoppin! They were ready for me and my friend (who was a few minutes late) upon my arrival. Daylan did my pedicure and he made sure that my water was nice and warm the whole time (he did so for my girlfriend too). He was extremely gentle with my incredibly ticklish feet. But the best part... his massage was out of this world. By far the best experience with a pedicure I have EVER had. My toes looked perfect; not a speck of polish out of place, everything was even and smooth. He even joined in the conversation with my friend when he heard she was pregnant (about the joys of parenthood). It was a great experience for us both. Daylan is an excellant employee; if you want the best experience, you should absolutely ask for him by name! The cost is pretty standard too; paid $30 for a 45 minute relaxing experience. read more

Third time(?) I've gone to French Nails. First time years back was a gift from my sister and they were good. Second time a FEW years ago ended me in Urgent Care on a Snow and very Icy night after noticing a red line beginning up my arm the day after a manicure at French Nails. I had developed Cellulitis (really bad infection in one hand.) Now, about a week and a half ago, my daughter treated me to a Mani-Pedi. she scheduled at this salon. With the few years that have past, I thought why not try again? The service provided is much less than before. No more leg massage. The Gel Polish, (French Tip) on my fingernails began lifting and peeling the third day following the application as did the color gel polish on my daughter's fingernails. My toes were painted with a Metallic Gel Polish and are still good. Sadly I think third time for me is NOT a "charm".. I will not be returning to French Nails. read more

If you go here, make an appointment with Tim. Whatever you do don't let Lena anywhere near your nails. I went for a classic manicure but all she did was have me soak my hands in warm water, filed my nails a tiny bit, barely pushed the cuticles back, and then painted them. She also rubbed my hands with some lotion but it was way too gentle. A cloud could have massaged my hands better than she did. She also complained that my nails were too short (I'm a professional violinist and can't have long nails) and that's why she couldn't do a good job painting them. In the end they were incredibly sloppy and when I complained, she told me they looked fine and that it was my fault for having short nails. Luckily Tim was great and took care of me. He redid the painting but I should have asked him to redo the entire thing. If you make an appointment with Tim you'll have a great experience here, just don't take your chances on a walk-in. read more

I went to French Nails last night for a manicure, that is all I wanted with clear nail polish. First, the lady seemed aggravated that I only wanted clear polish. I then received the worse cursory manicure I have ever gotten. It was almost as if she was just making the motions of the manicure without really doing anything. Great price; good service; my gel pedi has lasted WAY longer than I needed it to. Yes, the conversation isn't the most fluid, but frankly, I'm there to relax, not chit chat. The pedi chairs are comfortable with a massage feature, so relaxing is not a problem. The decor is not sophisticated and definitely not what you would call a "spa" by today's standards. But again, I go for the good service and great mani/pedi at a really awesome price. What it comes down to is what your priorities are. If you want the "spa" experience, go somewhere else. A good place to go if you're not looking for luxury, but want your hands or feet fixed up. Not the absolute cleanest, but not the worst I've seen. Treated my stepmom, 3 year daughter and I to pedicures for Mother's Day. I'm pregnant and it was my daughters first pedicure so it was suppose to be an awesome day. I made the appointments 2 weeks in advance and doubled checked that we were getting what we wanted. I asked if they could accommodate extra massage (pregnant swollen feet) and for the little, I wanted her to have the full treatment. Soak, massage, trim, file, polish. I also made sure that this is what we were getting when they called to confirm the appointments. Of course I assumed it would take less time for my daughters treatment on her little feet and that was ok but when we got there, whole different story. We had 2 people working on the 3 of us. All my daughter got was a short soak, trim on her big toes and polish, all before my stepmom and I were even started on. So much for relaxing. I was worried she was going to be so bored while waiting for us and this was suppose to be a fun experience for her. Luckily she entertained herself and of course my massage was mediocre and too short so I guess that helped since I had my 3 year old bored out of her mind. Also, the polish job was poorly done. I mean, come on. Isn't that nail technician 101?! In conclusion, we did not receive what was requested and walked out pretty disappointed. We won't be going back read more

Yeah this is the only place in town for a mani/pedi. there are other operations in town that do a fine job, but the consistency and ease of french nails is why I keep going back. no matter who you go to, it's a great service. I prefer Kim or Hoep.... but basically anyone will do a great job. it's very clean, the pedicure chairs are high quality and they use good OPI gel polish that I love. you should make appointments if you can. they can be busy, but they're always really good about keeping appointments on time. great place. read more

I have been coming to this salon for a total of 6 months. the first few times were great and i had loved it. Tammy was the best. She does the best on my nails and gave me the best pedicure i have ever had. probably wondering why only 2 stars? well, the woman at the front desk is horrible at planning times. I have recently decided to be done with this place for good because of her planning. I was suppose to go on saturday, Oct. 5th at 11, but had put me down for 10:30. this was about the fourth or sixth time this had happened my last few appointments. I know that my time was right because i put it in my phone right infront of her and showed her to confirm. she had not called me the day before to confirm or anything so I trusted my phone. while i was in the parking lot, I had gotten a call from her saying I was 15 minutes late when i was 10 minutes early for my appointment. A bit confused, she had told me at this point, we need to reschedule. I rescheduled but plan to cancel as I am going somewhere else because this being the 4th or 6th time it had happened, that is enough and has pissed me off. I received a gift certificate for a deluxe spa pedicure for Christmas and waited for just the right weather to hit before using it. I called and made an appointment and from then on the experience went downhill. I arrived a couple minutes early; they were obviously unprepared for me. I was directed to a pedicure chair where I sat with my feet in water that was cold by the time someone finally got around to me. The person "assigned" to me clearly wasn't happy to be doing this pedicure. She took the old polish off and then in about 3 short minutes trimmed, filed, buffed, and did my cuticles...the long and the short of it is that she didn't trim my cuticles at all...just sort of waved the clipper over a couple toes; half filed a few nails and did a two stroke buff job. Then on to the deluxe part....the three part process with the potions...not bad except that I froze while she went off and left the cold green stuff on...no warm towel or anything! Then she came back, cleaned it off and did a very mediocre massage...by the way, no scrubbing of the heels and my water was never cleaned...lots of floaties! The polish turned out nice...maybe she should just be the polish girl and skip the rest. I really wanted to love this pedicure. One of the mishaps would not have been a big deal, but the whole thing was a flop! Can't recommend and definitely won't be back. read more

I found the owner very judgmental and rude.......................one of the gals that did my nails long ago over priced me and I felt it was due to the fact the owner always gave me bad vibe when I walked in.........I gave it a good try....thinking maybe it was me being over sensitive, then I realized it was not.............I do know know this lady, either of them. Or the man. also a woman told me to be careful with some of the girls there when I was waiting, which I thought was odd. I chose not to go there, because of the energy in this place. I am paying for a service, not to be family. If I feel stressed going through any doors of a business that is my heart telling me it is not the right place for me.
