I also really love the final product and expertise that my technician put into my nails, I was really pleased. I am not about the difference between the "spa pedicure" and the "deluxe pedicure". I paid $10 more for the Deluxe and I thought I would have gotten a little more foot massage and calf massage, but that did not seem to be the case. Overall, very good quality, good service and very clean spa.

I'm new to the area and have been searching for a place to become a regular customer, and I'm so glad I found this one! Even though it was a busy Sunday, the young man at the front was incredibly kind and accommodating and was able to get me in last minute. From the moment I walked in, everyone was welcoming and professional. Bee did an amazing job! She had great attention to detail, took her time, and never made me feel rushed despite how busy the salon was. The conversation was wonderful, and the entire experience was relaxing and enjoyable. The salon was also very clean and had a great atmosphere. I left feeling so much better than when I arrived and absolutely love my nails. Bee has definitely gained a regular customer, and I'll be returning for future appointments. Highly recommend!

She took me early (6:30 for a 6:45 appointment) which was nice - but it felt like she was in a hurry to get home. The service was $5 and perhaps she didn't feel like it was worth her time to do a soak off, which is unfortunate. I do my own pedicure but have a hard time getting the gel polish off, and I asked for a soak because over time the drill damages nails. The facility itself was clean. No one there was remarkably friendly. I might give them one more try. I've heard good things about Sig. I'll book with her next time and see how it goes.

Sometimes they massage me sometimes they don't. Sometimes they put lotion on sometimes they don't. What i really want to share is the bad experience I've had with my manicure. It's the worst. I have been cut and my cuticles are destroyed. See pictures. I am in so much pain. I'm pretty laid-back and not super picky, but this was horrible. To all the people that have received good manicures here, I'm happy for you. That just wasn't my experience.

After years of being a client at City Nails, I will no longer be booking appointments…read more My husband and I have booked several pedicures together at City Nails, never once have we been asked upon making those appointments if the recipient is male or female. Today, we arrived for our 1:30pm appointment for Royal pedicures, this was the key element to our Date Day-we planned our 25 minute drive into Eugene around this appointment. After sitting in our chairs, we were asked to clarify who was with the requested technician, Aimee. I let her know that there was no preference & she proceeded to tell me that one of the scheduled techs didn't work on men. We were totally okay with that & waited for both techs to sit down. The first technician was a man. A little off putting since he was obviously not Aimee, and was the one who refused to do the pedicure for my husband. I smiled awkwardly and let it go. Then we were told Aimee doesn't do male pedicures either, could we wait to see who would. THIS WAS SO UNCOMFORTABLE. After a moment, we left. There was no salvaging the vibe, no offering that could have made that interaction feel okay. There is a sign on the door that reads 'NO HATE LIVES HERE.' Obviously, discrimination does. City nails called us 10 minutes after leaving & left a message letting us know they were sorry & had $15 gift certificates toward our future services if we wanted them. Hard pass. Do better. This whole experience was icky.

I booked my appointment a few weeks in advance, and DM her on Instagram telling her what I wanted…read moreand asking what it would cost. When she didn't reply, I booked a full set with simple art. I wanted short nails with a simple white French tip. I also texted her about a follow up appointment that I wanted to book for a few weeks after and I received no response. Day of my nail appointment, she texts me back saying she is going to be 10 mins late. I arrived at 11:35, same time as scheduled and waited in my car an extra 10 mins before heading in and waiting another 25-30 mins. After I sat in her chair she told me that short French tip nails would be $75 because it is considered "extreme art". I would understand this if it was acrylic cut out french tip, but not for regular hand painted. I told her this is not what her website says and that I was not comfortable paying for that especially after I was disregarded on Instagram and text and then she made me wait over half an hour for my appointment on top of that. I was really looking forward to getting my nails done by her as I thought her nail art and style is really cute. She blocked me on Instagram after I left the salon which I think was very immature. I know many nail techs that would've offered a discount for just the fact of being late alone. I was disappointed by the lack of communication and the fact that I waited over 30 minutes for a scheduled appointment. Hopefully she will do better in the future with her communication and time management.
