    $21 "Croque Madam"

$21 for this "croque madame" in Encinitas...are you kidding me? No prices on the menu (red flag #1), and then this shows up: a single slice of bread, one piece of ham, one egg, and a handful of greens drowning in dressing to make it look like more food than it actually is. This isn't elevated brunch -- it's the bare minimum dressed up as something fancy. No béchamel, no real effort, no substance. Just a glorified open-faced ham & egg toast with a side of overpriced leaves. I don't mind paying for quality, but this felt straight-up deceptive. If you're charging $21, at least make it feel like a full dish -- not something I could throw together at home in 5 minutes. Great location and potential, sure. But value? Not even close.

Yummy Gluten Free Lemon Cake with Pistachio chocolate coffee and lavender coffee!

So many things to choose from on the menu. Wonderful Gluten Free selections and friendly service! We love this Cafe with all its unique delicious and healthy foods! And then there's the amazing coffee selection! We will return here often!!! It was a great experience!

The food and bakery goods are fresh and delicious. There is also a nice selection of drinks but I had water. The service is quick and there is a quaint covered patio in the back with tables and chairs. There is also a bar area with bar stools to sit in the front of the store. There is street parking. I went on a Sunday and was able to park at the post office across the street.

Pastries were amazing, coffee wouldn't be my next choice if I hangout Encinitas again, there are better coffee next doors. Service was weird, lady with no smile and didn't want explain the name of the white pastry. Nice spot for a short rest. Street parking.

Omelette du Parisian ($16) and Cafe Pistachio ($6)

Corner bakery with lots of breakfast options and fun espresso options. + Omelette du Parisian ($16): ham, cheese omelette with a balsamic salad and buttered toast. Hefty omelette, panini-pressed toast, fresh greens = solid breakfast. (7.8/10) + Cafe Pistachio ($6): double shot espresso w rose, pistachio and oat milk. Asked for less rose, not overwhelmingly flavored or sweet! (8/10)

OMG..... absolutely DELICIOUS!!!!! Cute cafe with one of the most delicious sandwiches I've ever tasted (Le Dinde Sandwich) Super friendly staff and the service was amazing, food was served shortly after sitting down. Very relaxing ambience. Can't wait to eat here again.

This place fills my heart with joy. Like seriously. One time i went on a hike by Swamis with my mom and I fainted.... after I woke up we went here because that's how much I love this place. The food is always delicious. The crepes are 10/10. I love the Nutella strawberry crepe. The savory ones are also the best

    Receipt for breakfast.

We paid a 10% egg fee on the TOTAL bill. 4% restaurant tax. Let's start with the good stuff first. . The french corner has the most amazing crêpes, and my family enjoyed having breakfast here. Great quality food and really nice staff. Once I got home, I looked at my receipt because I did think it was a bit more expensive than I was expecting. Come to find out , I was very disappointed to see A 10% egg tax on the total bill and a 4% restaurant tax. I have no problem paying extra for Eggs but to charge it on the total and not per meal is unacceptable I was the only person that actually had eggs inside my crêpe and even though crêpes are made using eggs, I find it hard to justify $5.30 worth of eggs went into three crêpes. I should have scrutinized the bill at the restaurant. I also added a two dollar tip for the charming service. We are a family of five and unfortunately will not be coming back. We spent $75 for four people. Just the orange juice was eight dollars because I'm sure it was fresh squeezed but to then make me pay $.80 for eggs on my Orange juice is taking advantage of the customer. It's just plain sneaky , so now five more customers will not be coming here. I would recommend they change their pricing .

There was a long line - this place is so popular - but thankfully the line didn't take very long. The wait in the line was a good amount of time to give me the chance to take a look at the menu before ordering so I didn't mind it at all! It was easy to order at the restaurant. Grab our order number and find a seat and just wait for the food to come out. I was worried the food would take a while because so many people were there. The food came quickly, so there was no issue. I got a bivuoac berry cider which was delicious and very drinkable. I opted for some clam chowder, rocket salad, and the seafood curry as well. The clam chowder was delicious and creamy. Not TOO rich and not too salty. The rocket salad was pretty standard. I don't order any fish with it since I was ordering so many items already and I didn't want to be too full! Just wanted to add some veggies to my meal. The seafood curry had some great flavor. I was a bit surprised that the curry was more of a soup consistency. I was expecting a thicker and more saucy consistency but it was still good. I think it could've been a bit more flavorful. I liked the fish, shrimp, and veggies in the curry and I loved that they cooked the fish perfectly. It was nice and soft and had a delicious char on it. Overall, great meal and I thought the meal was decent value. Expected to come back and try more menu items.

It's light and perfectly cooked, and the fries were a really nice contrast without feeling too heavy. The IPA was also excellent and paired well with the food. My husband loved his poke, and the shrimp burrito bowl was another standout--ordering it bowl‑style with all the verde sauce was the right move. Fresh, flavorful, and satisfying without feeling overly indulgent. Casual, consistently good, and clearly a local favorite for a reason. We'll absolutely be back next time we're in the area.
