Yummy Gluten Free Lemon Cake with Pistachio chocolate coffee and lavender coffee!
    Nancy C.

So many things to choose from on the menu. Wonderful Gluten Free selections and friendly service! We love this Cafe with all its unique delicious and healthy foods! And then there's the amazing coffee selection! We will return here often!!! It was a great experience!

The food and bakery goods are fresh and delicious. There is also a nice selection of drinks but I had water. The service is quick and there is a quaint covered patio in the back with tables and chairs. There is also a bar area with bar stools to sit in the front of the store. There is street parking. I went on a Sunday and was able to park at the post office across the street.

Pastries were amazing, coffee wouldn't be my next choice if I hangout Encinitas again, there are better coffee next doors. Service was weird, lady with no smile and didn't want explain the name of the white pastry. Nice spot for a short rest. Street parking.

Omelette du Parisian ($16) and Cafe Pistachio ($6)
    Megan L.

Corner bakery with lots of breakfast options and fun espresso options. + Omelette du Parisian ($16): ham, cheese omelette with a balsamic salad and buttered toast. Hefty omelette, panini-pressed toast, fresh greens = solid breakfast. (7.8/10) + Cafe Pistachio ($6): double shot espresso w rose, pistachio and oat milk. Asked for less rose, not overwhelmingly flavored or sweet! (8/10)

OMG..... absolutely DELICIOUS!!!!! Cute cafe with one of the most delicious sandwiches I've ever tasted (Le Dinde Sandwich) Super friendly staff and the service was amazing, food was served shortly after sitting down. Very relaxing ambience. Can't wait to eat here again.

This place fills my heart with joy. Like seriously. One time i went on a hike by Swamis with my mom and I fainted.... after I woke up we went here because that's how much I love this place. The food is always delicious. The crepes are 10/10. I love the Nutella strawberry crepe. The savory ones are also the best

    Receipt for breakfast.

We paid a 10% egg fee on the TOTAL bill. 4% restaurant tax. Let's start with the good stuff first. . The french corner has the most amazing crêpes, and my family enjoyed having breakfast here. Great quality food and really nice staff. Once I got home, I looked at my receipt because I did think it was a bit more expensive than I was expecting. Come to find out , I was very disappointed to see A 10% egg tax on the total bill and a 4% restaurant tax. I have no problem paying extra for Eggs but to charge it on the total and not per meal is unacceptable I was the only person that actually had eggs inside my crêpe and even though crêpes are made using eggs, I find it hard to justify $5.30 worth of eggs went into three crêpes. I should have scrutinized the bill at the restaurant. I also added a two dollar tip for the charming service. We are a family of five and unfortunately will not be coming back. We spent $75 for four people. Just the orange juice was eight dollars because I'm sure it was fresh squeezed but to then make me pay $.80 for eggs on my Orange juice is taking advantage of the customer. It's just plain sneaky , so now five more customers will not be coming here. I would recommend they change their pricing .

Cinnamon roll - best Ive had out of all the ones I've had in CA and AZ. They do not cut corners and even use brown butter for their cinnamon sugar filling! Cruffins - fun to look at and fun to eat; can't go wrong with any of them! Cookies - white chocolate macadamia nut, chocolate chip, gluten-less chocolate cookies ... now these are cookies! If I had to bet, I'm pretty sure they weigh as much or even more than the famous NY Levain cookies. Strawberry and cream croissant - croissant stuffed with whipped cream and slices of fresh strawberrh; do yourself a favor and just try this! With so many goods to choose from, it may be easy to pass this one up, but don't! It'll give you those napoleon and cream puff vibes.

It's in a strip mall that has a few dining options so this makes it a perfect breakfast and lunchtime treat. They are only open until 2, I believe so make sure you go on the earlier side. I have had a croissant sandwich which was so good and many pastries since that event. My favorite and the one I keep coming back to is the lemon curd cruffin. A croissant muffin combination which is so crispy flakey and delicious. The staff is always nice and answers my questions. Parking is easy. There a few tables outside shared with the Mexican and Japanese restaurants next door.

He ate it the next day and loved it so much he took a picture of the packaging so we could come back, haha. The maple scent is strong and intoxicating! NANTUCKET - 9/10 Also amazing. Luckily, we found a parking spot nearby and we were able to explore around the area. This time, we were able to walk around to see what else was located nearby. While walking down Coast Highway, we saw some large advertisements for Broad Street Doughnuts. The photos were colorful and we were in the mood to try something new. We had never heard of Broad Street Doughnuts, so we were hoping that these would be delicious. Broad Street Doughnuts is located off of PCH, in the city of Encinitas. This is their only location on the west coast. They have 3 other locations in New Jersey, so it's great that they opened up a shop out here. They share a parking lot with other businesses, so parking is relatively easy. Their doughnuts are made to order. You will not get that stale, day old taste when you take your first bite. They are fried up after you place your order and then the toppings are applied. It beats staring are doughnuts through a case and ordering what may have been sitting there for hours on end. The menu is on the wall and it's totally visual. Each combo is displayed in a vivid photo. You can select from those or from the doughnuts that are near the register. The doughnuts at the front counter are not featured on the visual menu, so you may need to ask about their toppings/combos. I got a classic rainbow sprinkled doughnuts, along with a half glazed and half chocolate sprinkled doughnut. We also ordered a cotton candy doughnut that had what looked like dried out cotton candy. Delicious!!!! These doughnuts were light and fluffy. They were warm to the touch and incredibly fresh. They are a bit smaller in size, when compared to an average size doughnut. They seem prefect in size because you could walk the calories off while exploring around Encinitas. Broad Street Doughnuts was a pleasant surprise. Sometimes the visual representation isn't always an indicator of how good the product will be. In this case, the product lived up to the visual representation. We have passed by Broad Street Doughnuts many times, and finally had an opportunity to stop by. We were pleasantly surprised with both the product and how friendly the staff were with all of the customers. We will definitely be back when we are back in the area!
