I love Francesca's and have been a frequent shopper here for several years! The workers never fail to welcome me into the store. They have the best quality for clothing and I love their dresses and rompers. They have lots of jewelry and cute little knickknacks for brides and bridal parties. Similar to what some of the other reviews called out here: BEWARE OF THEIR IMPOSED RETURN POLICY. They refused to accept my return, claiming that the in-store return policy for online purchases is different from what is stated on the website and is just limited to 21 days. I escalated and was met with the same incompetency from the manager on the phone. First, I patiently kept asking for them to point me to where I missed this on their policies document published online. But both the associate and manager literally said to me "it is not written anywhere (not online or on their store copy of the policy) and it can be confusing but that is the rule". ????? how is that applicable then ????? Upon asking for the manager's name and mentioning I will be escalating further, they magically appeared with a "third party" method to refund me. The process took about 45 minutes which I think was prolonged intentionally. What frustrated me the most was that I approached the situation by apologizing for what I thought was my mistake and was met with an attitude / made felt like I am a burden. Review of Customer Service Experience. Francesca's corporate and management will get the full review of my wife's terrible experience at this location but long story short the associate that gave her name to me as "Gabby" was clearly lacking knowledge of the return policy and doesn't have the customer service skills to make things right. I actually had to find the policy in question for her and will escalate this matter by contacting corporate and guest services on our own as she was clearly ingenuine in her attempt to resolve the matter in the store. The knowledge, and adherence to valid policy options seem lacking at this location. Basic integrity should be a priority for all staff members and not waste the customers time. read more

The workers were friendly, however the manager or owner of the store was incredibly rude and I will never shop there again because of her. I was returning a few items and was heavily questioned on why I was returning them and got told that I shouldn't do any returns because it hurts them and doesn't support their business and that they will end up closing because of people like me who need to return something. Terrible experience that makes me never want to go back! I typically do a lot of online shopping (as there are more options online than in store) and I buy I multiple sizes etc.. to see what will or won't work. I've been shopping at Francesca's for years and I am fully aware of their 21 day return policy. I recently made a return to the store for an online order of things that just didn't fit me right and felt completely bullied and shamed by the cashier when I did nothing but simply want to return items that didn't fit. She had a very negative/annoyed attitude, and she made it very clear right from the beginning (with a harsh, rude tone) that I was past the 21 days so it would be store credit. I wish I had a sound clip of her voice to capture how aggressive she was. I fully anticipated store credit because I knew I was past the deadline, but her tone was unappreciated and just unprofessional for someone working in customer service. Then, she continued to make rude remarks about each item I was returning... it felt like she was shaming me for returning things! What am I supposed to do? They didn't fit... obviously I wish they did! At no point was I asking for a refund versus store credit or combative so it's very upsetting that I was treated that way. She was unprofessional and made me feel so uncomfortable that now I don't want to go back in their store! Just awful. read more

Staff are always friendly. Clothing is feminine. I can wear it to work or wear it casually. I'm an L size and everything is flattering, which is so hard to find in other shops. Many youthful shops sell many crop tops which is a no go for me, but here everything is a length I like. My 36D's are always fitted well or at least not too exposed. There's always deals. If I go, I assume I'm going to buy two shirts. One will cost 40 the other 20 due to some BoGo 50%. So ~30$ shirts. read more

I used to love Francesca's collections... I just want to preface this review with saying In work in customer service, I know how you're supposed to treat a customer, so my opinion is based on that. I went into Feancescas today, I was not greeted when I entered the store, I was not informed about the sale, and no employee checked to see if I needed help. I don't know if it was my appearance that caused this or the fact that I had come just from work, but I was very put off and upset at this. I feel like they did not pay any attention to me because I was dressed or had the appearance of "not being able to afford their clothes". I've been a fan of Francesca's for years. I'm a little confused why there are $$$, the prices are definitely affordable, especially their sale items. I especially love their summer dresses, and their leggings on sale run super cheap (2/$15) and are really good quality. The reason I'm giving this 3 stars is because of my last experience at this specific store. I used to come to Stoneridge specifically to shop at Francesca's. A big part of the experience here for me has been the friendly sales associates. They are generally very sweet and helpful. I went into this store on Friday early afternoon (I believe it was around 12 PM) and I was the only one in the store. The sales associate looked really disgruntled, clearly saw that I was in the store, and didn't even say anything. I was in there for a good 10-15 minutes, and there was no hi, offer to help, or anything. Considering I was the only one in the store, I found this a little rude. I've been so excited that a Francesca's would be opening in Stoneridge & finally the day has come! The store is very small but very cute! Clothing is reasonably priced from $20-50/ item. They also have a wide selection of girly jewelry and tons of cute books, gifts and even shoes! The clothing here is similar to what you would find in the B.P. section of Nordstrom and it is junior sizing. The clothing is high quality and will withstand many washing unlike Forever21's items. One sweet younger girl grabbed her size for us in the back, it had a frayed hem so my daughter asked for the one dresses on the manequin. She went to get a manager.. This women came out totally annoyed!!!!!!!!! I tried to be nice and say thank you, she never said your welcome and was frankly rude checking us out... This was thursday afternoon, older african american women. I work in customer service and would have been written up if i had ever treated a customer like that... I love Francesca's! It's a great store with something for everyone. This particular location, however, gets a ton of foot traffic as it has a great spot in the Stoneridge mall. This is a blessing and a curse. Blessing because you can't miss it. Curse because everyone else and their mother can't miss it either. I am a loyal Francesca's shopper and I love to build outfits from their pieces. This store can be a challenge to do so in because of how many looky-loos are roaming around, especially around the jewelry table - which I must say has AMAZING finds. This store has friendly staff, but more often than not they are chatting - which doesn't bother me, but it might deter some of the not so serious shoppers if they actually tried to service them. If you need gifts or last minute outfits you can surely find something for anyone here. It's a great spot. read more

I had an amazing experiance here! Ive never been to this store but i always past by it. So i saw something in the window and decided to go in. I wasnt really dressed nice or anything. But the store manager mai i think it was so incredibly nice. She offered me a fitting room and while i was changing she brought me more outfits to try on. I loved it she took her time and attention on me. And i can say i have never had that great of service before anywhere not even at a fancy boutique in blackhawk. She was so awesome that i don't even want to buy clothes anywhere but here now because i dont always have an eye for outfits and when there's someone who takes there time to help you find something for your size and shape it was a great experience! This store has some really good finds but they definitely have a very distinct style. A lot like Anthropologie and kind of cutesy boho with a lot of fun accessories and gifts. The girls working there are also very nice; Jasmine recognizes me every time I come in which makes me feel super special. Their prices are definitely more than F21 and the like but cheaper than Anthro. Plus sometimes they have special promos or buy one get one half off. read more

So walked in wanting to return something from christmas that just wasnt me but i was happy to exchange it for something else. unfortunately i did not have the receipt but the tag was intact. I work in retail so i know kindness goes a long way and also one can look up any item by its barcode no matter what system you are working with. I walk in and 3 girls are huddled up behind the counter. I thought because the space is so small theres no where to walk around when customers are brousing so whatever. Then I proceed To ask for an exchange, the first girl says sure no problem. Then the second girl says i have to do an exchange right there and then rather than get store credit for another time Sure whatever ill look around. So she scans the item and says that the item is on sale the org price was 24.00 but she says the sale price is 13.00 and because i dont have the receipt i have to get the 13.00. So i look around and the jewlery is SO cluttered and messy, i can tell its cute but i dont want to put work into organizing their store to get myself something. They claim to be trendy but they are late by a season and have things i can find online for a quarter of what they are selling it for or just walk up to forever21 the sales assc. were no help and were simply in the way. I guess the shop owner just needs warm bodies because the were not trained in customer service. I walked out thinking Ill just regift it. and never go into that cluttered messy RANDOM store. *I also think they are pricey for LA Shopping district type clothes (which is like a cheap runway look) read more

I have been to Francesca's locations in Danville, Blackhawk and have experienced great customer service. But, not at all at the location at the Stoneridge mall. I walked in on a Saturday, and was not greeted. I walked around with several items but was not offered any assistance such as inquiring if I wanted a room to try on the items. This is after walking by two separate workers. I observed one worker ask another person shopping if she needed help, what she was looking for, etc. as I stood nearby. It is a shame as whenever I went to Danville or Blackhawk, I was always greeted and acknowledged. I have even bought more items bc the salesperson would help complete my outfit. Customer service is everything. It is the difference in a sale. Needless to say, my mood to shop here changed and I even decided not to buy the dress I tried on here bc of my experience. But unfortunatelyI usually have to to fid them on my own :( Last time I came in the salesgirl was too busy untangling necklaces to even say hi or offer any help as I was trying on dresses. I love this store, but only when you actually go in the store to shop. I had a very bad experience ordering with them online, so my recommendation would be not to do so. I even had to speak with a manager of the online corp. and it was made very clear to me that they do NOT appreciate my business. After all the bad reviews I'm always hesitant to come in But it was one of the best shopping experience I've had in awhile. I went into the store to find a dress I saw online , as soon as I walked in I was greeted which is always nice. I walked straight over to the racks and began looking, the sales associate approached me and I asked if she could help me find something. I told her what I was looking for and she knew what I was talking about but said they didn't carry it anymore. And I thought that's was the end of it. But she said she would call other stores to check for me. She called 4 stores looking for the dress and was about to call another one but I told it it was fine and thanked her for doing all that. Then she pulls dresses that were similar to the one I was describing and started a fitting room for me. Another associate started pulling little extras I could add like belts, scarves and a cute necklace They both managed to always keep my hands free so I could shop freely! I first entered this store in SanFrancisco for my 16th birthday shopping spree. I fell in love with it instantly and have forever since come back time and time again. Their clothes are unique, but better hurry! Because they only keep minimal items in stock of that same item. their jewelry is so amazing and all the workers are kind. Especially Kate --or Katie-- she's my favorite. Highly recommend anyone to this store whether you're going for the bohemian style or just a summery look! Mie is AMAZING! I called and asked if they had any mint colored necklaces and that I was going to have my husband stop by if they did because I couldn't make it in myself and needed a necklace for my daughter's first birthday party. Mie offered to send me pictures of the mint colored necklaces they had in stock to see if any would work for me. And then even better I sent her a picture of my outfit (per her suggestion) and she sent me pictures of some other options that she thought would work with my outfit. I ended up going with a blue colored necklace she suggested and it worked out PERFECTLY! Wow! I don't think I've had better service ever. I must note my necklace was only $13 and the service I received was priceless. I will definitely shop here again. I cannot say enough good things about how friendly and helpful Mie was. This place is definitely my go to place for gifts. It's very similar to modcloth. Very close and sometimes exact stuff. Mei is an absolute doll, she's super nice to talk to and she's very accommodating. Love her. She greets me every time and assists me when I need that extra help. Love the sales, wish they had more .
