    Review #972 Posted on 12.22.25…read more We came into Boot Barn on Wednesday the 17th to do some Christmas shopping before the holiday. This place is located in the same strip mall as Home Depot, right next to Ulta, Petco, etc. They've got what seems like an even more expanded selection now. Just countless amounts of boots. Probably a few thousand it almost feels like, minimum hundreds. The clothes racks are packed with tons of products, but that clothing section is pretty cramped, they've jammed a lot of clothes in a small area. If there's a ton of customers in the store at one time you probably can't even walk inside there. This place seemed a tad short on staff the night I was there. Very nice girl getting trained doing a really good job with her customer service while we were there. The line took a bit too long for how many people were in there though, should've been in & out. It seemed logical to have the manager dealing with the customers at the register during those moments to get the customers there out quicker. Would go back for boots for sure. It's the only place around here that sells them that I know of.

I've been in this location multiple times over the years and usually have a really good experience. 1. We were in the store on a Monday afternoon/early evening and shopped around in the front half of the store for about 10 minutes before we seen an employee. I think all employees were either in the back or helping others in the back half of the store. 2. It would be nice to have a mirror somewhere in the front half of the ladies section. I tried on a few jackets and had to go searching for one :) 3. It was like a maze walking through the store and squeezing through racks this time. You may consider making sure you have large enough pathways for handicap accessibility. While not an issue for my personal experience, I have seen business get in trouble for not having proper pathways and accommodations.

Really…read more Imagine this - you & your kids come to redeem gift cards given by Santa the day after Christmas (bought my by husband). Only to be told, "Well, this gift card doesn't work." That's it. No other effort. No explanation. That was it for the customer. You're S.O.L. Left me hanging, just standing there. You read it right. The employee Basira provided tragic service & TOLD ME IN FRONT OF MY KIDS THAT THE GIFT CARDS GIVEN TO THEM BY SANTA DID NOT WORK. IT IS ****HIGHLY RECOMMENDED THAT BASIRA TAKE EXTENSIVE CUSTOMER SERVICE TRAINING. STAT.**** There was no "Well, let me see what I can do for you" or "Let me try and help you further or see what I can do." None of that. NOTHING. Again, I repeat...NO EFFORT TO HELP after that. I was exasperated and really had to push this and advocate for myself, the customer, in order to get ANY kind of additional help from her. I told her that these cards HAD to work because these were given to the children in their stocking by Santa! CAN YOU IMAGINE the situation I was in? Picture it, really. Basira was unaffected, unsympathetic, and provided NO level of service at all to be helpful. After a few minutes of my exasperation, insisting that she needed to help further because YOU KNOW THESE GIFT CARDS ARE FROM SANTA AND THEY WORK! THE WORST PART was that she was insinuating that the cards may have been already used! HELLO? Why would I bring my young kids to the mall the day after Christmas trying to use a used gift card? I was aghast & it was unimaginable. Basira then turned the card over, scratched off the scratchable number that reveals a code in the back of the card. (I told her again, yes, these were new cards.) And swiped again. And did something else. She actually did not explain what she did or what went wrong. Just still trying to BLAME THE CUSTOMER. AND OF COURSE, THE GIFT CARDS WORKED! Of course they did! AFTER ALL, THESE GIFT CARDS WERE FROM SANTA, DANGIT! As I said all along. By this point, I just wanted to get the heck out of this Claire's. I can tell you that I'll never buy a gift card from here again & will be telling all my friends with little girls. And I know a lot of them at school, at the PTA, in our scouts, in clubs, on and on. Usually I like to stop by Claire's to buy a prize or reward for my girls, but I will really have to rethink ever doing this again. There are many other stores to buy prizes from (hello, Target) that don't treat their customers like the dregs of humanity & they actually offer helpful service. Not a DGAF attitude. And will no longer be doing the buy 3/get 3 free like we do. So if this gal is there, STEER CLEAR of redeeming a gift card & don't expect to be helped like you actually matter. This abysmal customer service has ruined my ever wanting to go to this Claire's again.
