She takes you through the steps of making an aroma filled candle. We choose our vessels, I picked a white ceramic one and there are wood vessels for an additional cost, we sampled an array of scented oils to pick, I went for the amazing smelling "golden hour", then we blended oil and wax, and added a wick. We then picked our dried flowers to add to the edge of our candle, let it set and wait two weeks before lighting. Ashley gave us care instructions and we can recycle our candle vessels by bringing the empty candle holder back to use for another class, with a half off discount. Classes are about an hour in half to two hours, drinks sold to wet your whistle, and they have collaborative workshops with other creators. The total for the class I took was $60.24. Well worth it!

I have a bunch of travel mugs (over 2 dozen stored in a box in the garage) but this one really is perfect! It has a two-piece screw on lid so the mouth is extra wide for all sizes of ice cubes. The whole thing is very attractive. It can be drunk from any place of the mouthpiece and the part that touches your lips is plastic so it won't burn your tender/sensitive lips regardless of the temperature of the liquid inside. They come in various colors and the paint is slightly textured to make the body of the mug slip resistant. It comes in two sizes. I got the larger one (500 ml). If you want one, go to Amazon and search for Kinto 20942 Travel Tumbler, 16.9 fl oz (500 ml). Anyway, that's just one thing that caught my eye! But…read morewhen I arrived, loaded my cart with 9 pots of DA & Week Roses, not a single employee came up to me to offer help. I managed to push the cart to the pay counter, went to the wrong side, the clerk didn't even step out of her room to help me re-route to the right payment side though seeing me with a full cart. And mind you, I am a very petite Asian. She then claimed DV rose pots were not on sale and that I didn't talk to the right Rose specialist! I demanded for them to honor the price because I drove a while to get there. She finally agreed after confirming with her "Rose Specialist". Perhaps she was not aware her attitude was NOT friendly/helpful ... when she was in a front position representing the Nursery. She only thanked me and got better after I paid almost $400. The man who helped me pushed the cart to my car however was humble and nice. I appreciated him. Overall I didn't like to be ignored and my experience there was not pleasant this time. Unlike at other Nurseries, everyone who saw me picked up anything heavy, they came right away to offer help.
