Food was decent, ambiance is great...cute and thoughtful establishment. Drinks were not great. Mule half full, husbands drinks all ice and waitress wasn't super interested in us- tho she did have a table of 12 at the same time, so it goes. If we were ever in the area again we would give it another go, definitely one of the better options around according to those who know the area.

Really enjoyed our meal! Delicious bbq bacon appetizer. Thick cut with home made bbq sauce. Beef stroganoff had amazing scratch noodles. Shrimp skewers with crispy potato strings were fantastic. Creative cocktails. A hidden gem ten minutes from the airport. Highly recommend!

I really liked the atmosphere the minute I walked in. The bar looks welcoming and the fresh herbs growing were a nice touch. Our server came to take our drink order and I was underwhelmed with the wine choices. I settled on a Cab and it was ok. My 2 tablemates and I shared the brussel sprout appetizer. It's huge and we couldn't finish it. Nice dish with the balsamic and cheese. For my entree I chose the BBQ chicken Mac and cheese. My dish came out piping hot, which I love, and was super delicious. I loved every flavor that was there. Where they really fell short was service. She never checked back on how we liked our meals and when she brought the check, we sat there with dirty dishes in front of us for the next 30 minutes. Definitely would return for the food and the hopes we would have a better server.

We had our rehearsal dinner and it was absolutely amazing! Kevin made the process so easy for us. The food was delicious as well as their drinks! We had the speakeasy to ourselves. The room was nice and cozy. I highly recommend and we will definitely be back to visit!

I still love Four Twelve Project and last night we were there with a group of ten, so now I'm even more impressed. Our waitress (Annette T.) was AMAZING. Even with 5 couples, she got everything correct. She was even right about the drink I'd prefer. Our food all came out hot and delivered to the right place. She went over the specials twice - once at each side of the table, so we could all hear her in the busy restaurant. She even packed up our food for us at the table. I can't remember the last time I had leftovers and didn't have to package them myself. Very impressive. The food was amazing, as always, though we got unlucky with some of the menu items we wanted being gone at that point in the day. Our backup choices were all amazing and we all loved our meals. They even remade the steak for the person who got the steak. He hadn't realized it came covered in steak sauce and they fixed it with a perfectly cooked steak. Everyone at the restaurant was so nice. We closed out the restaurant even getting drinks at last call, but we NEVER felt rushed in any way, though I'm sure everyone wanted to go home.

Enjoying his Chorizo Mac& Cheese

The food was excellent. It's a small restaurant but it has a very nice atmosphere and the waitstaff provided amazing, attentive service. My son loved his Chorizo Mac & Cheese. My pork skewers were delicious. My wife loved her cocktail, Purple Rain. She also enjoyed her Kentucky Butter Bundt Cake. Our entire family highly recommend trying this establishment.

Such a sweet gem in the Moon/ Coraopolis area! Highly recommend a reservation that we booked a couple days in advance for a Friday evening. Dined here with family and the environment was warm, the staff welcoming, and the eats delicious. We had 3 in our group order burgers with fries. The burgers were perfectly pink inside as ordered, and the fries so crispy and well seasoned. One in our group ordered a filet special and she loved it. We also had a spinach dip app special as well as a bread pudding dessert and highly recommend both of these or their special variant when you attend. Also they are a "wine and dinery." We ordered a bottle of the cab sauv at the table and loved it so much we bought a bottle to take home! Overall a wonderful experience and will be back!

We had a great evening at this restaurant on New Year's Eve. Service was phenomenal. The food was great. The restaurant is beautiful and spacious and very inviting. I had to take away one star. I ordered an old-fashioned and instead of having a good strong bourbon taste it was just weak and underwhelming. For $12 I definitely expected more. The only other issue was that my fillet was a little on the tough side. It was perfectly cooked and seasoned, just not tender. The crispy fingerling potatoes are to die for and were actually the star of my plate! Overall, a great experience and we will definitely be returning.

Super cute place that's ALWAYS packed! Make a reservation! We stopped in on a Saturday night just for a drink and were lucky to get a spot at the bar. The bar holds only about 10-12 people and both the bar and restaurant area were packed. The staff were super friendly, quick to serve, and on point. The apropos cocktail was delicious! A little tart and definitely fresh. I've been here for dinner too and it's amazing. The brussel sprouts are a 10/10!

Food was good. Little leery about eating there after reading the food health score. Portions were large and prices very reasonable.

We loved it. Great food and cocktails. It was packed and we did not have reservations so we sat at the bar.

Excellent restaurant that serves up local fare with local spirits. Not many local places in the area but this one is worth trying.

The service was amazing, but it is a long process. Roughly 2 hours for drinks apps and mains. The food was very good. The steaks taste was good, but for a $75 Delmonico, the expectations were just a little higher. The mashed potatoes and 1000 layer potato were the star of the show. Very buttery very good. The seafood pasta was good and the seafood was fresh and tender. The oysters were good. East and west. The homemade hot sauce was amazing. All in all it was a pretty good experience. The drinks. Smokes old fashioned was very good. The manhattan was also very good. The strawberry spritzer did not get consumed. We didn't like it.

In the end, the sum total…read moreexperience was a solid 4 - good food, great aesthetic/vibe, great server, but the lack of accommodation/hospitality, some of the food, the price point on some of the food were drawbacks. One negative happened *before* we arrived. This special evening was to celebrate the 80th birthday of one of my sisters-in-law. We called to arrange a special dessert plate, etc, in advance, but the young woman who answered instantly told me no and said we could order a dessert and they would put a candle on it. I asked if we could choose a few desserts in advance and have them arranged on a platter with "Happy Birthday" written on it in some way, but again this woman said, "No, we really don't do that." Womp womp. Could've been an easy win. She actually encouraged me to bring an outside dessert and they would put a candle on that. She could've suggested a bottle of champagne or glasses of champagne being delivered to the table in advance, but no. Disappointing to say the least, especially at a restaurant of this caliber. Moving on... When you roll up to this location up a winding road, you get how special/unique Hyeholde is. The Tudor-influence is charming, as is the thoughtful gardening & its romantic evening uplighting. A valet pops out immediately to whisk away your car. (One sis-in-law arrived before they opened & was alarmed at no handicapped parking, but this is clearly why: the valet.) Another negative happened before we entered the restaurant -- the valet informed us that our pretty, small birthday balloon would not be allowed inside. The restaurant door opened as we started toward it - the owner & exec chef (we would learn later) welcoming us. Nice touch. One snag: both my sis-in-laws have some challenges walking/climbing stairs; no one asked the SIL who made her own birthday reservation (at her insistence!) about this. So, the 2 were a bit surprised when told that we would be headed upstairs to dine. While our host seemed somewhat willing to change up our location, there was a handrail up the stairs, so both SIL's opted for the climb. ‍ Our server, Ryan, was great - enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and cheerful throughout. The food: They had just changed to their spring menu, but three of us opted for the creamy mushroom soup, a winter menu holdover. While it was mushroomy and flavorful, I really do prefer my mushroom soup to have a splash of sherry. The artisanal greens with honey pear dressing was fresh and light. We all agreed that the dressing was excellent & the greens crisp & flavorful. (Slight drawback: It's fairly small & very simple; $14 is a bit much for this). The bread plate that came with our appetizers was good. One of my SIL's is a master baker, and she positively sang the praises of the brioche rolls. There's one for each in the party. Drawback: We wanted more and were happy to pay, but Ryan told us that wasn't possible. They only make enough for each person to have one each night. The homemade apple butter was excellent. Star appetizer: Smoked olives (!!!) - it sounds crazy, but all 4 of us could not get enough of these. The Applewood smoked treasures were to die for, especially the massive Cerignola olives. WOAH. The truffle mushroom pasta with chestnut cream was also positively standout. Huge, meaty mushrooms were slathered in a rich, flavorful cream with what seemed like campanelle-type pasta - YUM! Ryan recommended the tuna crudo app/small plate - but we just didn't have room. Next time... Main courses: birthday girl & I ordered the seafood tagliatelle which was excellent. The seafood - a blend of shrimp & scallops - was nestled in a saffron beurre blanc with a hugely flavorful blend of fennel, sun-dried tomatoes, & yummy black garlic. Hubs & other SIL got the Delmonico. Neither would recommend it. It was cooked perfectly but was a bit salty, not terribly juicy, and at ***$75**** - I can confidently say (after tasting a piece) that it was not worth it. The bordelaise sauce was nice, but the multi-layered mille-feuille potato creation - while definitely impressive - was too salty, according to the SIL who ordered it. Wine - we brought our own (bday girl had been saving 2 v special bottles) & paid their $40 corkage fee. Dessert time! Birthday SIL got the Ryan-recommended NY Cheesecake (his fave). First - this isn't NY cheesecake! BUT - it is quite good -- creamy, flavorful with a nice, thin, crunchy Graham cracker crust, and a spoonful of succulent preserved cherries. Ryan even magically stuck a little candle to the plate for our celebration. The standout fave, though, was the special carrot cake -- a creative version with a yummy, coconutty/pineapply ice cream colored with carrot juice and garnished with a crunchy, thin sliver of dried parsnip and carrot. Really good! My other SIL got the passionfruit pavlova and thought it was good (I don't do meringue - so I didn't try it).

You'll be required to find street parking, with the most convenient options being to pay for a parking space on the street nearby. (There is also free street parking but you may have to drive around a bit to find a open spot) We had a table of 6 dining here around 5pm on a Friday. We met part of our group there, and they were already seated, so I don't believe waiting for a table was an issue (even for a party of 6). Once seated, our waiter was prompt and attentive and we also had who I assume to be a manager check-in with us. So no complaints about service. Our waiter took our drink order, appetizer order, food order and provided refills on drinks promptly/reasonably. All of our food arrived in a reasonable amount of time and was delicious. Everyone enjoyed their meals but my wife had the shrimp fajita and I had the rodeo burger (without BBQ sauce, I just wasn't in the mood for BBQ sauce but all of the other toppings sounded yummy - Gouda cheese, bacon, crispy fried onion, and chipotle aioli). Both are pictured. Overall, I'd recommend going here if you aren't bothered by street parking. The service, atmosphere, and food were solid.

A server approached us immediately as my friend was still laying face down on the floor. The servers first question was "have you guys been drinking?". I quickly replied no! How about do you need medical assistance? A second server finally ask if we needed an ambulance a good 5 minutes later. Their concern was to get her up & out of the entryway. She managed to get up with our assistance visible shaken & take a seat. She was given a water & some ice wrapped in a towel . There were visible bruises across her nose. No accident report was taken. No one asked her name. We decided to stay & eat against better judgement. Upon trying to order they were out of chips & salsa, barbacoa & blueberry desert! Will not be returning. The servers need to be better advised on how to handle incidents where someone has been hurt in particular the elderly who are vulnerable.
