Got the chicken and waffles Surprising to have one small piece of chicken for 4 waffles for that price $16 Service was god long wait for food. Food tastes good

I know i was wasted when i came here, ( bc bar crawl ) but that was the BEST giant pretzel I have EVER had. The beer cheese was SO GOOD. And the general tsos cauliflower is always delicious. I got the scream queen cocktail and it was AMAZING. Great service and always a good ambiance, We never skip this place because we all know its gonna be fire. They always have the best cocktails, both taste wise and appearance. The only thing I didn't like was that they gave me an unbloomed rose in my drink and then didn't give me the drizzle it was supposed to have on the rose, and i know this because my friend ordered the same drink after trying mine, and hers had a fully bloomed flower and sugar drizzle and was super done up... so that kinda wasn't cool. It was still delicious and it's not a big deal, and I'm sure someone else made the drink. But L bartender for that. 10/10 will always be a fav spot

Great place with LOTS of beer on tap. Food was good and reasonably priced. We had the Tap burger, which came with a side (we chose fries) - big and thick, fries were good $15. We also had the short ribs burger $18 and rigatoni ala vodka with chicken$29. Good ambience, bar scene so pretty loud on a Sunday night during football season. Oh almost forgot to mention their cocktail was delicious! I had the Key lime Martini, which was a dessert in itself! Very good!!

Great place for groups, great place for brunch, and great place for happy hour! Seriously, the happy hour deals are amazing and you don't want to miss them. You also don't want to miss the Brussels sprouts. They are crispy, cheesy, and perfectly done.

I went to the South Side location twice in October! Both times were with slightly larger groups in the evening; we also had people arrive at different times, and the servers accommodated this with grace. The food and drinks are consistently so good!! The fall seasonal cocktails are fabulous, as are the classic cocktails. They truly have the best happy hour in the city; $5 for classic cocktails & $7 for seasonal cocktails is a steal!! I'm a big fan of the Caesar salad. The side of fries are great, as are the short rib poutine fries.

Love coming here for drinks. Their cocktails are so good. And their Espresso Martini actually might be my new favorite. Big draft list!

A group of 5 of us had brunch reservations one recent Sunday during "Summerween". The Urban Tap really embraced the pseudo holiday with tons of decorations, lighting, and special menu items. Our server was very friendly and prompt with service, despite it being very busy. Our food and drinks came out quickly and everything was fresh and delicious. A friend ordered the banana bread French toast and said that it was good, but so dense and sweet. The plate was basically several thick slices of chocolate chip banana bread turned into French toast. I'd recommend getting it for a shared dessert for the table. The injectable donut holes were a fun app that was enjoyed by the whole group. We thought the prices were on par for a slightly elevated brunch in the Pittsburgh area. I would definitely come back, regardless of theme.

I met my cousins for brunch here during their Christmas in July weekend. In addition to their regular brunch menu, they had a special Christmas menu as well. The cocktail and food item (eggs Benedict) that I ordered was not particularly Christmas themed but the food and drinks were good! The portions are generous as well. Our waitress was great and had the perfect balance of checking in regularly, but not too often. The only reason I deducted a star is because it was really warm in there. Even with the fans blowing, it was hot. lol other than that, it was a good experience.

Still way too loud even early in the day, but good service and wonderful brunch and bar food and drinks. If you're in the area, I recommend it. If it were closer, we'd go more often.

We stopped by on Friday 12/27 around 8pm. There was a good amount of people there for a random Friday between two major holidays but we were able to get a table for five right away. We wanted to try the holiday cocktails that were part of the Southside Tinsel Tour but there was some confusion. We were told they didn't have them anymore and so we ordered off the regular menu. A few minutes later we were told they did still have the holiday menu so we happily ordered cocktails off of that. The drinks were very charming and festive with cute little ornaments. They tasted pretty good for what they were and we were happy that we were able to order them after all. We got our drinks and a side of tots and after that no one ever came back to check on us. After a being there about an hour and a half, I got up to look for our server but couldn't find her. I asked someone at the bar about getting our checks and he closed us out immediately and came over to get our cards. He was really nice and apologized saying that our server disappeared and he couldn't find out and gave us 50% off our drinks for the inconvenience.

Went for the Summerween themed brunch bc the past few themed brunches were 10/10. Giving 4 stars only because it was 85 degrees & humid outside & they didn't seem to have tar AC on. It was HOT inside, we were dripping in sweat. But other than that everything was great. The service was awesome & the food was delicious! I ordered the shrimp & grits which was 10/10 I would order it again & again. We also ordered the waffle board which is always a great choice, I'm obsessed with the buttercream on top. Can't wait for the next themed brunch!

    Crab Cake Benedict
    Krissy G.

Great place for brunch with a variety of foods. The front windows were open to let the breeze and outside in. The crab cake benedict was delicious, but a bit hard to eat and enjoy The patty was thick, and the dish tall. It fell over each time I cut a bite. Would go back again, and the staff was friendly and professional! Wide variety of dribk options.

    Aperol spritz
    Lauren J.

Such a good happy hour spot it is becoming a weekly thing for me! $5 classic cocktails Monday-Friday 4-6:30 such a steal. Something about their aperol spritz just hit so hard I love the big glasses they serve them in, it makes me feel like I'm in Italy again! The tuna crispy rice was unreal I wasn't expecting it to be so fresh. Will definitely be back for this next week

BEST PITTSBURGH WING…read more We were absolutely not expecting this and still can't believe it. We didn't have major expectations but hoped it would be at least a top 5 wing and average meal. It was beyond that The French onion soup we saw online and everyone seemed to enjoy that. We're whores for it so had to get. I like mine a tad bit salty which this was and PACKED with onion chunks and breaded leeks on top. It was impossible to get a spoon fully without any inclusions. My new favorite The Tavern Burger. I'm coming fresh off 9 years without 5 Guys (elite) and this rocked me harder than that. This isn't a stupid smash burger. We got a juicy COOKED PERFECT RARE 8oz patty, topped with sautéed onions, and bacon that isn't crisped to smithereens. I like my bacon medium rare and that's exactly what I got. Then covered in one of the craziest sauces I have ever had, their gorgonzola cream. I could drink that by the gallon The wings.... I have never had a wing itself cooked more perfect in my life. The smoke and meatiness on them was so nailed that I could get 2 dozen plain and still have the same reaction. We got the Buffalo Garlic and Dry Cajun Ranch. These wings don't need drenched in sauce by any means or it would honestly ruin it. The buffalo doesn't ned to be creamy either. Perfect amount of sauce to cheese ration. The dry cajun ranch was a fucking knockout. For how great the wing is I would love to see more dry season options with them Cam got a Tavern Dip. I hate dips. I loved the shaved ribeye on it and horseradish, but I have never been an Au Jus man. Would 100000% eat it without the au jus Then the fries. Always team psoriasis through and through. Not sure if I'm coming off the Five Guys high but their cajun boardwalk style are even better. Get some spicy honey aioli to dip them in. Truly just shocked at how amazing this place is. Right over the bridge and cannot recommend enough going here before a game and walking over. Great spot right before, after and during sports.
