Still great food and service. Their brunch is delicious in addition to the grilled cheese sandwiches. Always loud even when not crowded, but a good atmosphere.

My coworkers had tried this place and gave it positive reviews. I figured why not. This place has a nice setup with artwork on the walls, good amount of seating. The bar is at the center of the main area. There is a shared parking lot that is kind of tricky to get into, if you take the first turn it brings you to the dumpster and unloading area. Our waiter was friendly and helpful. I ordered the Mac Attack witb bacon and tator tots. My thought was that this was a bowl of mac-n-cheese, with crumbled bacon. It was actually a grilled cheese sandwich filled with mac-n-cheese. Cool concept and it was pretty good. I actually ate it with a fork and knife. It could get messy trying to eat it like a traditional sandwich. Cash/Credit/Debit are accepted here.

Ordered the Smack Yo Mama with house chips, tomato soup & an iced tea for dinner via delivery option on Yelp. The menu options were fairly extensive with lots of tasty options to choose from but who wouldn't want to order a grilled cheese with pulled bbq chicken named "SMACK YO MAMA"?!? The meal was great! Very meaty, very filling, very tasty. The house chips worked well to scoop and dip in the soup (my biggest complaint was the soup not being as hot as I would've liked). I really appreciated that the meal came exactly how I ordered, with the sweetener for my tea, utensils, etc. Thank you!

We stopped in to eat before heading to the airport. Fast service at the bar. The food was awesome!! Very nostalgic with the grilled cheeses and tomato soup. Got the one with the fried egg and bacon and it was delicious.

Came here for lunch while on my trip to Pennsylvania. It was a Sunday afternoon for lunch. There were quite a few people there to watch the steelers game which made for a nice atmosphere. The big thing here is the unique types of grilled cheese sandwiches. We had the pretzels and pierogis. The pretzels were very good. Unfortunately I couldn't try the pierogi because they came out with a spring mix garnish that I'm allergic to. I was told they were good though. I got the big che bowski with tots and tomato soup. The sandwich was good but I had hoped the egg was cooked over easy but it was hard fried so no yoke. I didn't like the tomato soup. Overall I enjoyed the meal and wish I could go back to try other things.

Such a great place for brunch! I had the Belgium waffle and it was delicious! I've been to the yard for dinner as well as lunch but honestly brunch is my favorite. You can't beat the price! I also enjoy the atmosphere at the Shadyside location.

Started off bad with hostess sitting me literally right next to the fffff door. 35 degrees and rain. When asked to move, "nothing available". Legitimately, 47% tables empty. Yes I did the math. Waitress was ok. Food was as ok. Pass on the chips. Soup was good

Came here for dinner last night with my friends and had a great time! The atmosphere was nice and our waitress was great. She was so nice and got us everything quickly and checked in often, even though they were pretty busy that night. I got the fried fish sandwich off of the lent menu and it was so much better than I was expecting! I can't wait to go back when I'm able to have meat, because my friends meals looked so good and they loved them, too!

Very disappointed in the many fruit flies that were swarming our table. When I cut my sandwich in half one managed to land in my bun and was crawling in it and had to dig it out. The orange slice garnish on my drink also appeared dirty and removed that right away. The drink also was very weak (the Aloha one). The food was good but was annoyed the whole time. Service was good. Didn't need to wait long for food.

I visited the location at The Galleria. It was a Friday night and the restaurant was more empty than full. We went as a work group. They consider themselves a grilled cheese restaurant, but I wouldn't really consider that to be accurate. They have a pretty big menu and the prices are fair. I ended up ordering a sandwich with chicken, bacon and cheese. I chose tots as my side. I forgot and was pleasantly surprised to see that I also received a cup of tomato soup. The soup was very good. The sandwich was okay, not anything special. I also ordered an app of soft pretzel sticks. They were decent. I enjoyed the happy hour beer pricing. I think our entire group enjoyed what they had. I would like to visit again on the weekend for the bottomless mimosas. I would go again.

For eight dollars I got two drops of cold tomato soup. No. Absolutely not. Never again. Also it was super salty.

There are also cocktails, wines, and a whiskey selection. Currently, there are 16 beer choices, one cider, and a hard seltzer option that can be made in five different flavors. There is also an NA beer choice along with a pop variety. 32oz and 64oz growlers can be filled to-go. There is no food in house, but a food truck schedules to be here on the weekends. Check their website for more information. Kids are welcome as long as they are supervised by a guardian. Parking is never too difficult to find because there is a lot next to the building as well as street parking. There is a handful of tables and bar seating throughout the brewery, and there are some outdoor tables by the food truck. I always enjoy the vibes at Cobblehaus. The music is at a comfortable volume and the place is always very clean. I will continue to hang out here!!

Always packed, always impressive array of beer (one of the best breweries in region, IMO), and the food is tasty and reasonably priced. The site is so vast, there's never a shortage of seating, you just need to do a little bit of exploration to find a spot, but there's fun in that. Still trying to get to the upper command level - might need to head there during non-peak hours. Oh, I forgot to mention that each day/week there are a handful of beers and drinks that are super reasonably discounted - incredibly appreciated in the economic hellscape that is 2025.

We chose this spot specifically because it presents itself as family friendly, and, before visiting, we reviewed the house rules listed on the website. We had three adults supervising one two-year-old at all times, she stayed with us in a high chair at the table. There was no running, climbing, or unsafe behavior. At one point, while we were playing peek-a-boo with her, she loudly squealed happily for less than a minute intermittently. A young female employee approached our table and told us--while I was literally mid-sentence correcting her to use her inside voice--we would need to move to the patio "if she continue[d] because of the noise." The interaction felt especially unnecessary given that earlier, when she cried while we were waiting for food, no one said anything. What made the interaction feel worse was that it occurred very soon after the only adult male in our group had left for a sales appointment. The timing and tone of the interaction made us feel singled out and uncomfortable. We didn't stay much longer and didn't purchase anything further. I completely understand that businesses need to maintain a comfortable environment for all guests, and if there are expectations around children needing to remain nearly silent indoors, that may be worth just considering an adults-only atmosphere. However, happy toddler noises for a brief moment in a loud and crowded brewery marketed as family friendly did not seem unreasonable to us. We live just minutes away and had been excited to become regular customers when we first arrived and were very impressed by our drinks and the atmosphere. The tail end of our experience was especially disappointing and we left with a subpar impression. I'm sharing this feedback because the interaction genuinely made us feel unwelcome, despite being attentive, respectful patrons who were following the posted rules. We considered bringing our pup for the patio, but we were unsure if he would bark, so we decided not to bring him as well. I also wanted to mention that we noticed responses to Google reviews often encourage customers to reach out directly by email with concerns, so we felt this was the most polite and constructive way to provide feedback rather than leaving a public review first. It's been two weeks since the email I sent, to the brewery and I've heard nothing back. We also would like to mention that there are no vegetarian options on the menu beyond salad, hot pretzels, and French fries, despite there being many brands of offering vegetarian hot dogs and burgers.
