    Cod wrap
    Justin D.

Went here for dinner during lent season. Heard good things, very nice bar inside and people were so nice. Def was picked. My waitress was super nice but def was stressed with how packed it was. The food was not good at all. I got the Cajuan chicken pasta (without the chicken because of lent) had zero flavor and the sauce was so runny. My girlfriend got the fried cod wrap. Not good. Cold inside and mushy. Our friend got the crab cakes and said mushy and def microwaved. The apps were good, mozz sticks excellent. Then the loaded fries very good ! Would never go back during lent. As the food we had was really bad. Would go back and try a burger or hoagie but wouldn't go out of my way to go.

    Melting pot wings
    Leanne D.

Came to Patrick's Pub and Grille for the first time and we were happily surprised. We sat out on the patio to enjoy the nice evening weather. Most of the table ordered their wings since they had a nice Sunday wing offer. Buy 8 for $12 and get the next 8 for half price, so that's $18 for 16 wings. We tried their melting pot wings with their special blended sauce and the house season dry rub. Both were very delicious!! Our server was friendly and fantastic!

    Guiness stew
    Ray C.

$11 for "Guiness stew" that is %75 broth. More effort needs put into this for the cost. MAYBE....4 carrots in it....maybe 5 pieces of meat. I would be embarrassed to serve this. Our server was top notch though. So good, i didn't want to complain to her. Stick to sandwiches here.

Lots of variety on the menu. Something for everyone. Beer choices are decent but Adrain is the best. Does get busy when the patio is open.

They also have a big menu for drinks at a pretty reasonable price. I was surprised about how many people were there for an early dinner on a Thursday, must be a popular local spot! We had the smashed fingerling potatoes, it was pretty delicious and I liked the ranch that came with it. There was a lot of toppings on top too! For my main, I got the seafood risotto. It had shrimps and bay scallops. It had a generous amount of seafood in it. By then I was full but they had good sounding desert, including a GF Bundt cake! I wish I had saved some space for it. For my drinks, I had one of their speciality mules: Maggie's mule. It was kind of too sweet for me.

I waited at the host stand to be acknowledged for 10 minutes (learning after the fact that it was because they pulled the host to serve). Once we sat down nobody came to check on us for another near 10 mins. He was very nice, told us that this was his first time serving, we ordered drinks, appetizers and entrees all at once to help expedite service and alleviate the pressure on him. Food came out fast and hot, but we watched our drinks sit on the bar for 20 mins while we ate our appetizers, while our server was stuck talking to the same table the entire time. Our entrees came out promptly and we had to ask the food runner to deliver our drinks, and he was very nice and did for us. We were not checked on by our server or anyone else the rest of the meal, despite having empty waters before our entrees were even out. Once we were done we had to watch our server talk to another table for at least 10 minutes without even so much as looking in our direction before we were finally able to get his attention to close out. Everyone we did get to talk to was very nice and the food was very good, portions were large, and hot, and prices were great for the quality. It's a shame the rest of the experience was not up to par. I love the idea of this place, and if they were to get a little more help in the way of experienced and reliable servers we would give it another try, but ultimately we were disappointed.

First off, it's conveniently located in the terminal, and we were able to get a table right away on a Sunday night. The place had a chill vibe with a mix of bar seating and tables, and it wasn't overcrowded, which made the experience even better. Our server was friendly and quick to get us settled. I ordered one of their house lagers, super smooth and just what I was hoping for. I'm definitely more of a lager guy, and this one hit the spot. To start, we shared the pretzel sticks appetizer, four perfectly soft pretzels served with a warm cheese dip and a nice, sharp mustard. Great portion for two and a perfect kickoff to the meal. For my main, I went with the Brewhouse Burger, cooked medium rare (I know, a bold move for airport food, but trust me it was cooked perfectly). Juicy, flavorful, and cooked just how I like it. They offer a bunch of add-ons too, so you can really make it your own. And the best part? It didn't come with the usual inflated airport price tag I think it was just under $20 for a quality burger, and the beers were around $7-$8, which felt totally reasonable for the setting. All around, it was a great experience solid food, great beer, fast and friendly service, and they didn't rush us at all. If you've got at least an hour before your flight and want a sit-down meal that doesn't feel like typical airport fare, I'd definitely recommend!

But then again, I am vegetarian, so I didn't think they offered anything for me. I've looked at the menu online more than once, and didn't see any sandwiches designated vegetarian each time. But I was meeting a friend before a concert on the RMU campus, and this was conveniently located 1 mile away, and it had food and beer. I kept an open mind and figured, I'll just modify one of their sandwiches. When I arrived, I learned they also have a pizza option. But I still thought... when in Rome... There was a black bean option listed on their wall menu, but the waitress double-checked for me and we learned together that they use to offer that option, but no longer do. Damn. There was however a cheese (no meat) option on the menu, which I was surprised wasn't on the online menu. But I'll take it! Their sandwiches are interesting in that instead of sides of french fries and cole slaw, the sides are just stacked into the sandwich to make it a quick easy convenient meal! The draft beer selection was good, the sandwich was decent enough, and the service was great (weekday evening). In the end, I am not sure I'd run back for my one sandwich menu option, maybe I'd try their pizza, or go for some sides, or just stop in for a beer on my way to my next show. I enjoyed the vibe and most everthing about the place, but the sandwich was just okay.

I had to stop in and see for myself. What I found was a fun little spot with BIG vintage charm and a great small town vibe. Everyone was so friendly and the chef recommended the cheesesteak. *cue eyeroll* I used to work at a Philly style cheesesteak restaurant in Richmond,VA that made cheesesteaks that rivaled any I've ever had--even in Philadelphia. Since moving back, if I wanted a cheesesteak, I had to make it myself. So, I shared my cheesesteakismology with the chef, and was honest that I probably would judge it pretty hard. You just cannot get a Philly in the Pittsburgh area. Everyone here serves a ....steak hoagie. I don't want your steak-ums with your provolone cheese or lettuce or tomatoes and onion. I do want peppers, onions and American cheese all mixed up into gooey greasy mess and served on a fresh hoagie roll. Plot twist~He held his stance and was 100% confident that he, in fact, does make the best Philly in town and assured me that he actually uses American too--to which I smugly replied "but do you mix it in?"-- and much to my surprise he did. Still having doubts that I would recieve a cheesesteak that would meet my expectations, I figured the least I could atleast give it a shot, duh. So I placed my order and waited.... 1099 % surpassed my expectations!! This cheesesteak sent me into a dreamlike state. Nostalgia washed over me and the heavens opened up, sending me into cheesy steaky bliss! Amazingly delicious cheesesteak! Honestly, the best I've ever had in Pennsylvania, and I have tried a lot of em'. If you haven't been back since they reopened or maybe you've never been there before in your life, I want to tell you, don't walk--RUN--to Orbit Inn and treat yourself to a tasty, juicy treat! I'll definitely be frequenting this establishment and so happy I don't have to scrub cheese from my frying pan anymore for the sake of a great Philly! For that I will be forever grateful.
