Reuben with 1000 island on the side
    Trish L.

I had a wonderful first experience here for lunch on a Saturday afternoon around 1230. Though there appeared to be only one employee running both the bar and serving the tables, the service was mostly prompt and friendly. There were about 3 patrons seated at the bar and maybe 3 or 4 other parties seated in the dining area. I loved the dimly lit atmosphere and movie decor spread throughout the restaurant. I ordered a reuben with fries and asked for the 1000 island dressing on the side. My dad ordered the pulled pork sandwich with fries. We both agreed that the fries were cooked and seasoned perfectly. You have the choice to have the fries come out plan, but I'm telling you that you definitely want the seasoning. It had a little kick to it and it was absolutely delicious. My reuben was also tasty and stuffed with corned beef. It was a little messy, as expected, and it appeared that I got the butt end of the rye bread loaf, but I still loved the sandwich! I took a bite of the pulled pork sandwich and thought it was good. I'm picky with BBQ sauces and this one was a little sweet for my preference. The jalapeños certainly helped balance it out, though. I will definitely be back, when in the area.

    Pretzels and beer cheese

My friends and I stopped in here for dinner on a Friday night. We all got an assortment of food, including pretzels and beer cheese, a buffalo chicken salad, chicken wings, a burger, soup, and chicken sandwich. The food was good, but nothing really stood out all too much. The pretzels were good, but make sure you like butter bc they were swimming in it. The wings were fine. Their buffalo sauce is good. Service was okay. The waitress was busy and definitely showed it. We felt very rushed when ordering and she was abrupt each time she interacted with us. The food came out fairly quickly though and was hot. The place was also really loud. It didn't seem crowded enough to be that loud. Idk what it was. Overall, everything was fine, but nothing really stood out. I wouldn't go out of my way to come here again, but also wouldn't tell anyone else not to go.

Man, this is our hometown hang. Granted, we might live one town over, but it's still just around the corner. They always have a wide variety of draft selections, but what brings us back every time is the food. The classic burger is our go-to, but the Cuban, the Rachel, the Tuna Melt, and the wings are fabulous. (We've been here a few times lol.) Service is excellent! We are most impressed with Tegan - he is just the best!

Horrible food and service. Every table around us said the same thing and rude servers. Burnt fries, stale buns and very little fish is right. Too noisy and too dark also. Will not be back due to that server. If he would've actually stopped drinking behind the bar and talking and waited on tables, our food could've been corrected. But he was too busy, ignoring people and arguing with guests.

I was in town visiting my sister, and we decided to stop in this place for lunch on Tuesday afternoon. There were a few people at the bar as well as a few tables of diners. The bartender, Camille, was also responsible for waiting on all of the dining tables and did a fantastic job. The place is nicely decorated with plenty of pictures and lights throughout the dining area. I had the reuben sandwich with the house cut fries. It tasted delicious. My sister had the classic burger with the house cut fries as well. She said it was very good. They also have appetizers, soups and salads, sandwiches, several burgers, and wings. The value is pretty good as well.

Game Time has something for everyone from the usual bar entertainment of darts & pool or games of skill. Let them show you a good time offering you their best from the coldest brews (tap & well) to their top shelf liquor along with a balanced menu selection featuring apps. Entree's & more. There's no time like Game Time. I had the pleasure of dining here on both Friday and Saturday nights (August 15th & 16th), after performing a play (Coach & Mrs Jagoff) down at the Iron Horse. A couple of friends joined me for drinks and appetizers, and this spot turned out to be the perfect post-show hangout. My only (minor) gripe? The early cutoff time for entrées. After 9 PM, it's mostly appetizers--but honestly, they're so good, I couldn't even stay mad. We sampled everything from wings to warm pretzel sticks to Provolone sticks--each one hit the spot. Pretzels were soft and chewy, lightly salted tasting great in beer cheese or mustard delightful. Provolone sticks were on point with a nice crunchy breaded outside & gooey flavorful inside with an excellent cheese pull. I also enjoyed their wings with their juicy tender inside & its crispy exterior. Onion rings juicy delicious & i loved its battered taste complimenting my experience with my triple play & wing order from the previous night I'm definitely planning to come back earlier one day to finally try their smash burger--either before a performance or when I'm in Ambridge during the afternoon. I've heard great things, and it's calling my name. Kudos to the wait staff! They were incredibly hospitable and made sure my group of castmates got all our orders right, even with the late-night rush. During a previous visit with a party of five, things felt a little cramped inside, but we still had a great time. I've since told the crew that next time, we'll claim a spot along the sidewalk dining area--it looks like a fun vibe. I'll absolutely be back--and this time, I'm coming early to enjoy a full entrée before a show or rehearsal. I'm also planning to invite the cast of Angel of Mercy to join me one night (Friday or Saturday) after a performance. Great food, friendly staff, and the perfect spot to wind down after a night on stage! It's not that she didn't seem friendly, she was very friendly and seemed efficient at her job... I tend to get on a roll of weird questions. The temporary nonsmoking status question would have gotten that ball rolling. She seemed too busy for my nonsense. Anyways onwards to the review. From the exterior it's not exactly inviting, with its rough looking brick and painted wood panels covering what once may have been glass storefront windows. The bar fills the space of the two "storefronts" and is evident from the space inside. On the left is the main entrance and straight inside you see the ten seat bar. Immediately to your right is a few high top tables. In the far right corner there sits one pool table. Deeper around the corner sits small but working woman's and men's bathroom. It had a nice soap and paper towel dispenser. That may not mean much to some, but it means a lot to me. In between the pool table and the high tops, you can take a few steps down to the other side of the bar. Down there you'll find more tables on your left and another pool table on your right. Drinks were cheap, tots were crispy, burger was juicy, service was good... I will return. Hopefully it will be nonsmoking, otherwise I might leave quickly and update my review!

I wish I took a photo of the lent menu. Two of the fish options were listed at $16. Icelandic Cod with in a bun or a dish with slaw and another side of your choice. Yet on the menu there is a fish sandwich for $3 less and one side choice. That's what I wanted. I didn't want the roll or the double sides. I was told I couldn't have that because it's a different fish. Yet all named the same. Then I was told it was different seasoning. They added in that the sizes were different. All the fish comes in frozen and ready for the fryer. And they did not order that particular sandwich size. But would they have that size on Saturday? Since the lent menu would be done? I call bull on all of that and should have been able to get what I wanted on the menu. I opted for the cowboy burger that was okay. The bun was a bit air stale. No flavor to the burger at all. Bagged chips. Would have hoped for homemade since they had 3 different fries to choose from. The other party with me had the boneless wings. They were good! Will I go back? Yes. Not getting the fish. Too much of a hassle.

I was hungry, but I was also anxious to get home after a long day. I walked in and ordered a craft draft beer and placed an order for a burger to go. Sidelines has a great selection of craft drafts, so I give that part of their pub 5 stars! Their fresh cut fries are also delicious, and deserve a 5-star review! That said, the burger was big but just okay in flavor. What bothered me most is that when I looked at my bill, they tacked on an extra $1 for a "to go" order. $1 isn't going to make or break someone, and I understand an extra charge if someone just orders food to go. In my case, I was a sit-down customer with the beer while I was waiting for a burger and fries in a bag. I guess if I had ordered on a plate, I could have taken a few bites at my seat and then asked for a to go container for my leftovers? I just felt as though I was not appreciated as a customer. They can have the $1, but I most likely will avoid this place going forward. I just don't get the rationale behind charging a customer extra money even if they order a pricey adult beverage enjoyed at a table or bar.
