Favored amongst locals, who enjoy celebrating good times after a long day from the daily grind or…read morecoming in for some game day action offered on their big screens. Game Time has something for everyone from the usual bar entertainment of darts & pool or games of skill. Let them show you a good time offering you their best from the coldest brews (tap & well) to their top shelf liquor along with a balanced menu selection featuring apps. Entree's & more. There's no time like Game Time. I had the pleasure of dining here on both Friday and Saturday nights (August 15th & 16th), after performing a play (Coach & Mrs Jagoff) down at the Iron Horse. A couple of friends joined me for drinks and appetizers, and this spot turned out to be the perfect post-show hangout. My only (minor) gripe? The early cutoff time for entrées. After 9 PM, it's mostly appetizers--but honestly, they're so good, I couldn't even stay mad. We sampled everything from wings to warm pretzel sticks to Provolone sticks--each one hit the spot. Pretzels were soft and chewy, lightly salted tasting great in beer cheese or mustard delightful. Provolone sticks were on point with a nice crunchy breaded outside & gooey flavorful inside with an excellent cheese pull. I also enjoyed their wings with their juicy tender inside & its crispy exterior. Onion rings juicy delicious & i loved its battered taste complimenting my experience with my triple play & wing order from the previous night I'm definitely planning to come back earlier one day to finally try their smash burger--either before a performance or when I'm in Ambridge during the afternoon. I've heard great things, and it's calling my name. Kudos to the wait staff! They were incredibly hospitable and made sure my group of castmates got all our orders right, even with the late-night rush. During a previous visit with a party of five, things felt a little cramped inside, but we still had a great time. I've since told the crew that next time, we'll claim a spot along the sidewalk dining area--it looks like a fun vibe. I'll absolutely be back--and this time, I'm coming early to enjoy a full entrée before a show or rehearsal. I'm also planning to invite the cast of Angel of Mercy to join me one night (Friday or Saturday) after a performance. Great food, friendly staff, and the perfect spot to wind down after a night on stage! If you order wings always ask for extra sauce, the wet flavor wings come out too dry. They're too skimpy on the sauce for some reason ? Also, not sure why...but the wing basket of celery and carrots comes out like 10min before the wings. Pictured: Patrick's hot - It's got some heat... but very edible. Catches up after a few. Blu cheese is ok. It's got nice chunks but the dressing side is very lite Cheers!

Not sure why I expected anything different when we went there today. Today's experience: Our server took our order in a very reasonable timeframe, but we waited close to 50 minutes for our food to arrive. And this was on a weekday; they were busy but not packed. No one came by to provide any kind of explanation. When the food finally arrived, my fries were cold and we had to ask twice for refills on our beverages. We had to go to the bar to get utensils and napkins because the server never brought them. As we were leaving, a couple at another table had just gotten their food and had the same problem-- they needed utensils and napkins. This isn't the first time we've experienced very slow service at Patrick's Pub. I don't know what the issue is, but I'm sorry to say I probably won't ever go back to Patrick's for a meal.

I was hungry, but I was also anxious to get home after a long day. I walked in and ordered a craft draft beer and placed an order for a burger to go. Sidelines has a great selection of craft drafts, so I give that part of their pub 5 stars! Their fresh cut fries are also delicious, and deserve a 5-star review! That said, the burger was big but just okay in flavor. What bothered me most is that when I looked at my bill, they tacked on an extra $1 for a "to go" order. $1 isn't going to make or break someone, and I understand an extra charge if someone just orders food to go. In my case, I was a sit-down customer with the beer while I was waiting for a burger and fries in a bag. I guess if I had ordered on a plate, I could have taken a few bites at my seat and then asked for a to go container for my leftovers? I just felt as though I was not appreciated as a customer. They can have the $1, but I most likely will avoid this place going forward. I just don't get the rationale behind charging a customer extra money even if they order a pricey adult beverage enjoyed at a table or bar.

We're all young women in our 20s who have each worked as servers for years, so we understand how hard it can be and are incredibly patient and respectful. But this was just out of hand. A real life nightmare! worst server ever! I've never left a Yelp review until this one! First of all, it took forever for our server to even acknowledge our table. The appetizers took at least 30 minutes. Our entrées took OVER an hour. Then one meal still came out 15 minutes after the rest of us had already been served. Mind you, it was NOT BUSY AT ALL! We ordered 6 wings and she put in 12, and charged us for all 12. We ordered a side of ranch and she charged me for THREE cups of ranch. Like no one asked for all that. We also asked for celery with the wings and never got it. The food was a disaster. My meal and my sister's came out ice cold and nasty...and my friend's meal came out 15 minutes after ours. Also, I ordered waffle fries, but they forgot them, gave me my friend's regular fries instead (which were also ice cold), and my actual waffle fries didn't arrive until my friend's meal came out 15 minutes after ours. The service somehow got even worse once the food arrived. She would not refill anything! Not even water! We were dying of thirst for 30 minutes. When we asked for water DURING the meal, we didn't receive it until about 45 minutes later, after we had already PAID THE BILL. WORST PART-- We sat there with food in front of us for about 10 minutes just staring at it, because SHE NEVER BROUGHT silverware. She was nowhere to be found! When we politely asked if we could have some so we could actually eat, she had the nerve to joke, "No, you can't." It wasn't funny. Dead silence. We waited 1.5 hours and were tired and hungry. It was just another example of how little she seemed to care about doing her job. What made the entire experience even more frustrating was the complete lack of accountability. Mistake after mistake after mistake, and it took about ten inconveniences before she finally managed to force out the word "sorry" at the VERY END when we were signing the bill, just trying to revive her tip. She came across as lazy, inconsiderate, and like someone who absolutely hates her job. I don't know her name, but she was heavy-set, wore a trucker hat, brown ponytail, and large hoop earrings. And to top it all off, there were ants everywhere. This was one of the worst restaurant experiences I've had in a long time. Between the outrageous wait times, cold food, incorrect orders, unnecessary charges, terrible service, and ants crawling around, there's absolutely no reason to spend your money here.

Dilly tots were awesome. Homemade tater tots? What could go wrong with that. Pillowy potatoes with a hint of dill pickle. Excellent. My wife had the prime rib special as we were there on a Saturday. It was very tasty and done perfectly. I decided to try the filet. It was very good. The Bordelaise sauce was a bit overpowering but good. I would order it on the side next time. Mashed potatoes that came with it were delicious despite them being semi-cold when served. My only negative comment was the roasted seasonal vegetables were mainly sweet potatoes with some shoestring carrots and zucchini mixed in. More of a starch than a vegetable. Good portions so we had to pass on dessert although some of them looked reallly good! Again, we will be back to try some of the sandwiches, etc.

At 76, my energy is not up to their standards. The dining room, new, is bright and clean, if a little cold. We were greeted and seated promptly and professionally. Our drinks arrived quickly and our food, the pig and fig flatbread and two small salads, followed shortly. The food was very well prepared. Service was excellent. It's a bar and beer place and we're wine drinkers. The wine list is very limited, but understandingly so. The by the glass prices were fair, but the bottle prices for the same wines were excessive. Bottles should sell for 4 times the glass price, but these were well above that level. For us it's a better lunch destination, with less 'energy' and no wine.

Service: Been there twice and the waitstaff was very attentive and polite both times, no complaints. Haven't sat at the bar but it looks inviting. Food: Wasn't bad but wasn't exceptional. The menu has a lot of great offerings but nothing I have tried was on par with say, other German inspired establishments in the area. Both times the food was sort of cold as well. I think with some tweaks and tuning it'll be better than other places in the area. My only other complaints were that the seating, although rustic, is rickety and uncomfortable. They were playing TOP 40 country music which was also sort of weird for how the place looks inside. I am pretty easy to please and feel the place has a ton of potential, with the right improvements and some marketing they will be extremely busy as it's probably one of the most unique eating establishments in the area.

Not a huge deal, just seems an odd choice. Our waitress was attentive but disinterested. When I asked for a beer recommendation, she told me she was more of a Miller Lite person and couldn't help. Our biggest issue came when our food arrived. My girlfriend's schnitzel came with roughly a tablespoon of jarred garlic on top, something none of us had ever seen in German food before. The beer cheese that came with the pretzels was not beer cheese but nacho cheese. Still ate it, I'm a fat guy, but another strike against authenticity (the mustard on the tables throughout is just Aldi brand mustard, too.) I ordered a veggie wrap that was so wet, it fell apart, required a fork to eat, and left my plate looking like I had ordered soup. The building is so nice inside and the surrounding part of Ambridge is beautiful. A ton of potential in this place, I'd love to see them try a little bit harder and soar. I live right across the river, I'd love to become a regular.
