Bartender agrees with the aggressors ...! Not a good time, too many kids. N, I've seen drugs interacting.

Favored amongst locals, who enjoy celebrating good times after a long day from the daily grind or…read morecoming in for some game day action offered on their big screens. Game Time has something for everyone from the usual bar entertainment of darts & pool or games of skill. Let them show you a good time offering you their best from the coldest brews (tap & well) to their top shelf liquor along with a balanced menu selection featuring apps. Entree's & more. There's no time like Game Time. I had the pleasure of dining here on both Friday and Saturday nights (August 15th & 16th), after performing a play (Coach & Mrs Jagoff) down at the Iron Horse. A couple of friends joined me for drinks and appetizers, and this spot turned out to be the perfect post-show hangout. My only (minor) gripe? The early cutoff time for entrées. After 9 PM, it's mostly appetizers--but honestly, they're so good, I couldn't even stay mad. We sampled everything from wings to warm pretzel sticks to Provolone sticks--each one hit the spot. Pretzels were soft and chewy, lightly salted tasting great in beer cheese or mustard delightful. Provolone sticks were on point with a nice crunchy breaded outside & gooey flavorful inside with an excellent cheese pull. I also enjoyed their wings with their juicy tender inside & its crispy exterior. Onion rings juicy delicious & i loved its battered taste complimenting my experience with my triple play & wing order from the previous night I'm definitely planning to come back earlier one day to finally try their smash burger--either before a performance or when I'm in Ambridge during the afternoon. I've heard great things, and it's calling my name. Kudos to the wait staff! They were incredibly hospitable and made sure my group of castmates got all our orders right, even with the late-night rush. During a previous visit with a party of five, things felt a little cramped inside, but we still had a great time. I've since told the crew that next time, we'll claim a spot along the sidewalk dining area--it looks like a fun vibe. I'll absolutely be back--and this time, I'm coming early to enjoy a full entrée before a show or rehearsal. I'm also planning to invite the cast of Angel of Mercy to join me one night (Friday or Saturday) after a performance. Great food, friendly staff, and the perfect spot to wind down after a night on stage! It's not that she didn't seem friendly, she was very friendly and seemed efficient at her job... I tend to get on a roll of weird questions. The temporary nonsmoking status question would have gotten that ball rolling. She seemed too busy for my nonsense. Anyways onwards to the review. From the exterior it's not exactly inviting, with its rough looking brick and painted wood panels covering what once may have been glass storefront windows. The bar fills the space of the two "storefronts" and is evident from the space inside. On the left is the main entrance and straight inside you see the ten seat bar. Immediately to your right is a few high top tables. In the far right corner there sits one pool table. Deeper around the corner sits small but working woman's and men's bathroom. It had a nice soap and paper towel dispenser. That may not mean much to some, but it means a lot to me. In between the pool table and the high tops, you can take a few steps down to the other side of the bar. Down there you'll find more tables on your left and another pool table on your right. Drinks were cheap, tots were crispy, burger was juicy, service was good... I will return. Hopefully it will be nonsmoking, otherwise I might leave quickly and update my review!

I was hungry, but I was also anxious to get home after a long day. I walked in and ordered a craft draft beer and placed an order for a burger to go. Sidelines has a great selection of craft drafts, so I give that part of their pub 5 stars! Their fresh cut fries are also delicious, and deserve a 5-star review! That said, the burger was big but just okay in flavor. What bothered me most is that when I looked at my bill, they tacked on an extra $1 for a "to go" order. $1 isn't going to make or break someone, and I understand an extra charge if someone just orders food to go. In my case, I was a sit-down customer with the beer while I was waiting for a burger and fries in a bag. I guess if I had ordered on a plate, I could have taken a few bites at my seat and then asked for a to go container for my leftovers? I just felt as though I was not appreciated as a customer. They can have the $1, but I most likely will avoid this place going forward. I just don't get the rationale behind charging a customer extra money even if they order a pricey adult beverage enjoyed at a table or bar.

Dilly tots were awesome. Homemade tater tots? What could go wrong with that. Pillowy potatoes with a hint of dill pickle. Excellent. My wife had the prime rib special as we were there on a Saturday. It was very tasty and done perfectly. I decided to try the filet. It was very good. The Bordelaise sauce was a bit overpowering but good. I would order it on the side next time. Mashed potatoes that came with it were delicious despite them being semi-cold when served. My only negative comment was the roasted seasonal vegetables were mainly sweet potatoes with some shoestring carrots and zucchini mixed in. More of a starch than a vegetable. Good portions so we had to pass on dessert although some of them looked reallly good! Again, we will be back to try some of the sandwiches, etc.

At 76, my energy is not up to their standards. The dining room, new, is bright and clean, if a little cold. We were greeted and seated promptly and professionally. Our drinks arrived quickly and our food, the pig and fig flatbread and two small salads, followed shortly. The food was very well prepared. Service was excellent. It's a bar and beer place and we're wine drinkers. The wine list is very limited, but understandingly so. The by the glass prices were fair, but the bottle prices for the same wines were excessive. Bottles should sell for 4 times the glass price, but these were well above that level. For us it's a better lunch destination, with less 'energy' and no wine.

I had to stop in and see for myself. What I found was a fun little spot with BIG vintage charm and a great small town vibe. Everyone was so friendly and the chef recommended the cheesesteak. *cue eyeroll* I used to work at a Philly style cheesesteak restaurant in Richmond,VA that made cheesesteaks that rivaled any I've ever had--even in Philadelphia. Since moving back, if I wanted a cheesesteak, I had to make it myself. So, I shared my cheesesteakismology with the chef, and was honest that I probably would judge it pretty hard. You just cannot get a Philly in the Pittsburgh area. Everyone here serves a ....steak hoagie. I don't want your steak-ums with your provolone cheese or lettuce or tomatoes and onion. I do want peppers, onions and American cheese all mixed up into gooey greasy mess and served on a fresh hoagie roll. Plot twist~He held his stance and was 100% confident that he, in fact, does make the best Philly in town and assured me that he actually uses American too--to which I smugly replied "but do you mix it in?"-- and much to my surprise he did. Still having doubts that I would recieve a cheesesteak that would meet my expectations, I figured the least I could atleast give it a shot, duh. So I placed my order and waited.... 1099 % surpassed my expectations!! This cheesesteak sent me into a dreamlike state. Nostalgia washed over me and the heavens opened up, sending me into cheesy steaky bliss! Amazingly delicious cheesesteak! Honestly, the best I've ever had in Pennsylvania, and I have tried a lot of em'. If you haven't been back since they reopened or maybe you've never been there before in your life, I want to tell you, don't walk--RUN--to Orbit Inn and treat yourself to a tasty, juicy treat! I'll definitely be frequenting this establishment and so happy I don't have to scrub cheese from my frying pan anymore for the sake of a great Philly! For that I will be forever grateful. Thank you for the superb dining experience!
