The brunette mentioned she had only been there for five days, but you never would have known it. She did an excellent job checking on guests and making sure everyone was taken care of. I ordered the 3-bone rib dinner with mac and cheese. I'll admit, I'm a bit of a rib snob, but these were outstanding. They had the perfect glaze with a nice crisp on the outside, weren't overcooked, and were so tender but not falling off the bone without being overly fatty. Easily some of the best ribs I've ever had. The mac and cheese was good, but it was spicier than I could handle. It would be nice if there were a non-spicy option available. We enjoyed a few beers, great food, and sat out on the patio listening to blues music on a beautiful summer evening. It was the perfect atmosphere, and I can't wait to come back. The only downside is that parking can get a little tight when they're busy, but it's well worth the visit.

Food and drinks are ready in just a few minutes and the dining area is ample with clean tables and clean floors. An upgrade of plastic utensils would be appreciated however. The chili was especially good as was the pork BBQ sandwich. Prices were reasonable to add to the experience. Parking can be a problem but there is some to be found on the other side of the street but lacks a crosswalk so be very careful.

My default when I don't feel like being disappointed…read more @thepubat333 is that easy "let's just go to..." and no one argues it because it just...works. There's enough going on menu-wise that everyone figures it out, and I'm not exaggerating-every single time I've been there since they opened, someone at the table orders a French dip. Every. time. It's basically part of the experience now. Also if I see pierogi, I'm ordering pierogi. That's just who I am. Could've taken down the entire plate without blinking but I shared like a respectable adult (meanwhile mentally tracking which ones were supposed to be mine). It's just a laid back, neighborhood spot that doesn't try to be anything crazy and still ends up being exactly what you wanted. Fun fact: my friend and I once prank called from their landline, the owner immediately called back, we answered like nothing happened, and yeah...the phone was no longer an option for us after that

Bar seating was almost full with only a couple seats. Heard good things about their pizza too. There's free parking in the lot (although small). Shout out to our bartender Ange! The black and bleu shrimp was absolutely amazing. It's got blackened spice and has this creamy sauce that makes you go dip for more (I need that recipe honestly). If I had some bread, I'd definitely use this as a dip lol. We got the thin crust Sicilian pizza to share. The pizza unfortunately was very wet and kind of soggy. I think they could have waited to let it rest for a few min before serving because it would especially show when we were separate the slices and try to take one off the plate. I don't usually want my toppings and cheese to just slide off the pizza. Also since we were at a bar w/ some of the games going on, we wanted wings and got their crispy whole wings in a dry spice rub. They were pretty big wings and well seasoned -- not too spicy though if that's not your vibe.

The waitress was really nice and said one table was leaving soon and she put some tables together for my large group. She was pretty attentive for serving almost the whole bar alone. My mom and I split the burger and mesquite butter wings I think they could've been a little more saucy, I didn't mention anything, but I'm sure she would've brought me more. If I asked. I heard a lot of good things about the ranch and it was good once I really really tasted it. I didn't find it that flavorful off the top but once I really tasted it, it did have good flavor. Maybe this was a fresh batch that needed to sit. My dad got the buffalo chicken eggrolls. They were good, but we didn't realize it would just be chicken dip in the eggroll wrapper We were expecting shredded chicken with hot sauce and cheese or something similar. I came to celebrate my granddad's birthday just to try something new and he generally likes bar food. He enjoyed it as we sang happy birthday to him. The other patrons and the waitstaff also joined in and someone even offered to buy him a drink. this is a really nice bar if you're looking for good food , good vibes and nice people.

The outdoor patio is truly special year-round--whether it's a beautiful summer evening or a chilly winter night, the fireplace tables and cozy outdoor furniture create the perfect atmosphere. The food was exceptional as always. I ordered the chicken parmesan topped with fresh mozzarella, and it was absolutely delicious. We also added a crab cake, which was flavorful and perfectly prepared. My husband's steak was cooked exactly as ordered and seasoned to perfection. Even though we were full, we decided to splurge on dessert, and it was the perfect ending to a fantastic meal. What keeps us returning is the consistency. The food, service, and overall experience are always top-notch. It's rare to find a restaurant that maintains this level of quality visit after visit. We love The Lot and look forward to many more meals there in the future.

My mom and dad had the lamb which they raved about and said was very good. We shared the shrimp macaroni and cheese, and it had a very overwhelming flavor of egg. It was offputting. We did a side of potatoes and I did not like them. It's a cute restaurant in a cool location but the food takes absolutely forever and the menu is limited. Service was lovely. That's really where they got their stars. I just cannot emphasize enough that everything moves very, very slow slowly here.

The breads were really good and fresh, we really like the non-white bread. It was different but very good! We had ravioli, fettuccini Alfredo and 2 of the specials off of the early bird menu (the salmon salad and the pork chop). We enjoyed all of our food. The red sauce is really good! My salad was huge, I was able to bring a nice portion home. My husband said the rice with the pork chop was terrible but he really enjoyed the salad and pork chop. Our waitress was a little dry and not super friendly. She did forgot 2 of the soups we had ordered but offered to pack them to go or give us dessert, our kids opted for the dessert and both tried the cannolis (which were very disappointing). We weren't a fan at all and we all love cannolis. She did however send the soups home with us too (but one was not the soup ordered). Anyways it was a nice gesture. The building itself is an older building with nice woodwork and details. The crowd was definitely on the older side but we did dine in early. Overall good food, a little more on the formal side. Would like to return to try their chicken parm & the dipping oil!

Elegance with a welcoming feel of home and delicious creations!…read more As soon as you enter, you can see the grandiose architecture of the building and decor. The simplified elegance is also accompanied by the hospitality of the staff. Warm welcomes and greeting each customer as if they are a regular creates an atmosphere that you want to be in for every meal... and you didn't even eat yet. The menu has plenty of options, but I asking for suggestions... the staff can help you to find those hidden gems of Oakmont. The fried zucchini appetizer is not your normal bread crumbed planks- but a pillowy tempura batter that is cleverly aired to avoid sogginess with their plating technique. I would highly suggest grabbing this as an app. The bread service is already fresh and delicious... but the secret sauce... ask your waiter for the dip. Yes, it now costs a little extra. But oh my word.... It is worth every scent. The Blackenzola is worth the creative name and topping! The gorgonzola is fresh and adds such a delicious crust with the balsamic glaze on top of their filet mignon. The chef cooks the meat to perfection and it is a great meal. The green beans are a great vegetable option. The mashed potatoes make sense to be a Chef's Choice. The piping on the plate is beautiful - and they are smooth and creamy! After eating such good food, you have to say yes to just see the Dessert menu... and the tiramisu was calling my name. They give you a large portion and you can taste the freshness of this decadent dessert. All in all, Hoffstot's is a place that you will feel welcome, you will want to come back, and they will probably remember you.. or at least make you feel like part of the family.
