YES. Yes, yes, yes. This is the kind of place I want to be taken to when visiting another town…read more Friends who live outside Pittsburgh brought me and we spent several hours at this indoor-outdoor craft brewery. I tend towards lighter beers, and they had several great options for me (don't worry, there are plenty of darker beers and higher-alcohol-percentage brews; I just didn't order them). There are three or four bars, along with a stage and places for food trucks. The bars are all linked, so you can open a tab at one and it'll be available at the others as well. Super friendly service. I was there on a Saturday afternoon and the place was well-staffed with very cool employees. The atmosphere is nice, too, and I appreciated the poster on one wall explaining the meaning of "Grist House". You can bring dogs too! Some very nice dogs were present on this particular Saturday. Next time I'm coming through this way, I will definitely be stopping by again. * Note: it's a brewery, of course, but they do offer some wines and their own cocktail concoctions.

Really liked the White Witow. They have lots of different seating areas available and lovely patio area. Dogs are welcome on the patio.

I've been there several times and honestly, I love the place so much that I would regularly make the trek to walk there and back from my apartment in Bloomfield. It is famously known as Pittsburgh's "they-bar," and the second you step inside, you can feel how deeply intentional they are about creating a genuinely inclusive, welcoming space for the LGBTQ+ and trans community. The theme is delightfully nerdy and witchy, with cozy, magical decor that immediately makes you feel right at home. They have a massive roster of events--everything from drag shows and karaoke to incredibly chill craft nights--but even if you're just dropping in for a drink, they completely nail it. Their menu features an amazing selection of creative "potions" (cocktails) and just-as-complex "fauxtions" (mocktails) that respect sober and drinking folks equally. It's easily one of the most comforting, accepting, and fun spots in the city. PS: Contrary to the one bad review I've read here, the service has always been top-notch!!From slow days when the owners and bartenders would have long convos with us to super busy times like during the Millvale Music Festival, always amazing service. Even during the chaotic busy times, staff always have a smile and a nice word for customers. Support local. Support lgbtq+.

Yay!!) the back patio was super cute, and large sized with string lights overhanging and multiple different sections for a cozy intimate vibe. We elected to sit at the bar, after we were able to grab two stools, (was pretty packed when we came in). The menu specials are adorable with different options, to include non-alcoholic drinks and snacks, let's not forget the candy bar! We had a few different drinks, I chose all of mine from the specialty menu, he chose some on tap draft and specialties. All super excellent. I had the lavender menace and the mermaid magic, along with a lavender lemonade. He had the pretty pretty princess and the archibald on tap. There's a store upstairs by the owner who was kind enough to let me shop during off shop hours. The shop is a combination of spiritual/witchy items and pride items. I purchased several items and the shop has a website storefront that offers shipping and e-gift cards. I got to meet Fred! The sweetest pupper ever, just absolute love. I left my boyfriend at the bar for shopping and petting a dog for a good 45 minutes. Oops.
