Wanted to try something different and saw the OZone Bar and Grille. Decided to give it a try. Initially, we will be back. It was good. All scratch made foods and great selection. Dilly tots were awesome. Homemade tater tots? What could go wrong with that. Pillowy potatoes with a hint of dill pickle. Excellent. My wife had the prime rib special as we were there on a Saturday. It was very tasty and done perfectly. I decided to try the filet. It was very good. The Bordelaise sauce was a bit overpowering but good. I would order it on the side next time. Mashed potatoes that came with it were delicious despite them being semi-cold when served. My only negative comment was the roasted seasonal vegetables were mainly sweet potatoes with some shoestring carrots and zucchini mixed in. More of a starch than a vegetable. Good portions so we had to pass on dessert although some of them looked reallly good! Again, we will be back to try some of the sandwiches, etc. read more

Went for their happy hour and wings. $2 off the beers was nice. Wings were pricey, small and had almost no sauce. I was told that the garlic parm were a wet sauce but they're a dry rub. Not bad but not good. Might be worth it on their .75 cents wing nights. read more

Being fans of Kelly O's for breakfast, we decided to try her new place, OZone, for dinner. Open entering you notice the energy (I.e. loud music and talking). At 76, my energy is not up to their standards. The dining room, new, is bright and clean, if a little cold. We were greeted and seated promptly and professionally. Our drinks arrived quickly and our food, the pig and fig flatbread and two small salads, followed shortly. The food was very well prepared. Service was excellent. It's a bar and beer place and we're wine drinkers. The wine list is very limited, but understandingly so. The by the glass prices were fair, but the bottle prices for the same wines were excessive. Bottles should sell for 4 times the glass price, but these were well above that level. For us it's a better lunch destination, with less 'energy' and no wine. read more

The atmosphere at the bar was pretty cool....the "light up" bar was very unique. It was a Thursday evening so it was crowded but not packed. Happy Hour pricing made it a bonus . We had the pretzel knots to start....the order looks small but it actually went pretty far if u break up the knots. The beer cheese was excellent. I had a blackened burger with onion straws and it was tasty. The fries were really good. We had the Margherita flatbread and it was okay just not a lot of flavor and the tomatoes seem like they weren't ripe. Could have used a Sprinkle of salt or even parmesan portable Santa Claus was a little sweet. Also had the grown-up grilled cheese which is basically fresh mozzarella tomato sandwich and it was as well the tomatoes didn't seem ripe and could have used some salt and pepper. We didn't have reservations for a Valentine's Dinner, so we decided Ozone might be a good choice since it's more of a bar than a romantic restaurant (and therefore wouldn't be super-crowded). It was still crowded, but we were able to grab seats and the (seasonally appropriate, red-backlit bar). The drink service was friendly and quick! The menu options are mostly what I'd call elevated bar food, which is exactly what we were expecting. We shared the prime rib rolls (amazing) and the sausage mushrooms (pretty good); the servings were large enough that we were able to call it a meal without ordering additional entrees. This place is perfect for a drink and nice meal without the pomp & circumstance of a reservations-required establishment. We'll definitely be back! read more

The indoor space is stunning and a great addition to the nearby restaurant scene. I treated family to lunch and we opted in to eat indoors. The Philly egg rolls were fantastic. The fig flatbread was delicious. I heard the margherita pizza was tasty, too. I would recommend this new restaurant to anyone in the neighborhood. read more

Not very impressed. Got the Pittsburgh salad which was $27 with protein, definitely expensive being that it's mostly chopped iceberg lettuce. My problem with it was that the fries and chicken were so super salted that it was hard to enjoy. Fries were not hot. Love the vibes of the restaurant though, good service and cool aesthetics. Have been waiting to try this sport out and it did not disappoint! Had an amazing time as soon as we walked in. Decor and layout is beautiful. Cozy vibe, gives you an upscale bar feel. Plenty of TVs in the bar area, and some booths had TVs as well! Great rotating draft list with options from local breweries. Seltzer $4 specials on Saturdays, and $3 IC lights during Pirate Games. Margarita was incredible, although pricy. Flatbreads were incredible!! Would love to get the Pig & Fig again. Sweet flavor was perfect. We stopped in here about a week ago for the first time. I had the rainbow trout, which was a special for St. Patrick's day. I enjoyed it so much that if it was regularly on their menu I'd be tempted to eat here every week. The risotto was decent as well. Husband said his meal was good too. Went with group to watch college football. Have been a few times before and had great service.....until tonight..... Was looking to get a beer from the bar.....stood there looking with empty glass....no engagement at all from bar staff.....started waving my arms.....still no reaction.....started tapping glass against bar.....bar manger was incredulous that I was doing that.....said I could damage bar (?!?!).....I apologized and she reluctantly (finally) got me a beer (isn't that what they are in business for(??)....went back to kitchen and apologized again....then the "owner" (wasn't Kelly, so skeptical who she really was) was talking trash about me to another patron....my wife stepped in and inquired what her issue was....said that she was drunk on her 3rd Miller Lite (Really????). Obviously Ozone does not care about their customers and any future business (the party of 10 will never patronize again).... First OZone is gorgeously done. Beautiful decor and lots of comfortable seating. The bar is spectacular! But the most important things are food quality and service and OZone hits it out of the park. There were four in my party and we started with drinks. Extremely well stocked bar and lots of great options. The FOOD! We started with Ahi Wontons and Sausage stuffed mushrooms. The wontons were the best I have ever had. Large with extremely fresh tuna and other ingredients. The Sausage was excellent topped with mornay sauce that we couldn't leave on the plate. Entrees were big portion of delicious French Onion soup, Wedge salad that was a quarter slice of lettuce topped with fresh veg and homemade dressing. Pittsburgh Salad topped with Chicken, Pork chop with maple glaze, French Dip Sandwich (best ever made) and Salmon with a fabulous glaze! OUTSTANDING Last but not least, the service was impeccable! My cousin and I had lunch here. I had half chicken salad which was $18 along with an additional charge of 75 cents for a ranch dressing. She had a burger which was also $18. Ive always had a great overall experience when going to any of the Kelly O locations- the staff is always so friendly & kind. So when Ozone opened, I was very excited to try. Now I will give this place the benefit of the doubt since they did just open, but my disappointment is in overall service- which really should be a standard no matter how new the restaurant is. When we arrived it was a Thursday night, and rightfully packed- we were seated in the bar, and there was live music. Loved the vibe. The music was loud, but tolerable. Our waitress was young, and we all came in at different times (me being last, no surprise there) but got our drinks quickly & let us chat / look at menu. When we were ready, we ordered the tuna as an appetizer, and all ordered meals... With some substitutions (nothing crazy- no mustard on one, and no tomatoes on the salad). About 40 minutes go by, with no update or apology on time- drinks were refilled, but just no acknowledgement of the time lag... whatever. When we finally got our food, there was no appetizer in sight- and the waitress had no idea, and said shed go check. She comes back & confirms the kitchen forgot it, but again- no apology. I will also mention someone in my party ordered a meal, and a togo order (at if it was least me taking the order, id wait to place the order to go, so itd be fresh to leave). No appetizer came out with the meals, but the togo order came out with the meals. I asked for no mustard on my hot dogs (yea, i ordered hot dogs, it was post memorial day & i didn't get one then, so i needed it). my plate comes out with just 2 plain hot dogs & fries. no toppings at all. when the manager stopped by to check on things (no acknowledgement of the missing tizer) i ask for the toppings that were supposed to be on my food- and there was def a look from the manager... not sure if overall annoyance of the night, me, or what- but I almost felt wrong for asking!! ridic. my friend who asked for no tomatoes on her salad waited another 15 minutes (at least) for her corrected side salad... there was no protein or anything on it, for it to take that long was crazy. So now that my novel is complete- I am willing to give them another chance, but an acknowledgement of an error or an extended wait time does go a long way. Pickle Tots, they do sound odd but are remarkably good, give a try. Dinner or Lunch, Crab Cake is a real winner, also enjoy Asian Chop Salad with grilled chicken. Warrendale has been begging for a new restaurant! We love Kelly O's and were hoping the Ozone would become our new place for dinner. We were excited to see the new decor! The Ozone looks great! Unfortunately, by the time we had finished our meal, my husband and I had realized this would be our only visit to the OZone. Much to our disappointment, not only was the food over priced, but the taste was underwhelming. The Pittsburgh Salad was weak in comparison to similar salads in the area. The chicken & waffle sandwich was unique, but not tasty enough to encourage us to return and try other items on the menu. I am confident that people will try the Ozone once, but do not think it will be a place that people will return to often. As for my husband and me, we will stick with Kelly O;s for breakfast / lunch. read more

Very disppointed in the food and the prices. We were there on July 25th and were surprised to learn that even though there are FOUR burgers on the menu, we could not order a plain provolone cheeseburger. The reason given was that it was a "chef's menu" and the items were "chef made". We couldn't believe it. After being in the restaurant business for 30 years, never once did we tell a customer that they couldn't have a variation of a menu item if we had all the ingredients. Unbelievable. One of us got a Reuben, which had a very odd taste to it so half of it got thrown out and the French Dip was edible. The fries were stringy and tasteless; they were also thrown out. We will not be back and good luck attracting high end customers with an overpriced and mediocre menu. The bartender was pleasant so we didn't question her about the rules of the menu, she seemed a little embarrassed about not being able to give us what we wanted. I'd love to hear the chef's explanation on why they can't make a simple, plain food item for the same price as the one that has five unwanted ingredients on it. read more
