Great place to meet for dinner after work on Thursdays for the $10 burger special! Most recently I had the bacon Brussel sprouts and the bourbon burger. Service is excellent, you can sit a the bar near the fire or at a table. Great place for a quick and tasty meal!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Dark and old interior but super kind staff.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Food was great! The wings were big and crispy. The corn was out of this world, wish I could have stomached 2 of them. The best thing on the menu is the bacon crab hushpuppies. I was scared the bacon flavor would take over but it provided the right texture. My only complaint is I wish the happy hour extended to some of the apps. Otherwise decent bar food in a bar atmosphere with a great price point.

Food was delicious, service was a little bit slower but it was a hidden gem for a good meal

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Open seating.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Friendly staff. Good drinks. Great chicken Caesar salad. Heavy on the dressing. Great chicken tho. Wings were good. Would come again.

I recently went back to Fireside Public House for their Monday night wing special. I ordered a small salad (lettuce, tomato, cucumber) with balsamic dressing and 6 grilled wings (buffalo ranch) with ranch on the side. I'm such a fan of their wings, both grilled and fried. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We sat on the patio, which is always a vibe.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The service is also good and this is just a chill spot to dine at overall.

Dry rub lemon pepper wings and pretzel bites

[[HIGHLIGHT]]I like the look of the space. I enjoyed being able to sit outside and enjoy the weather.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The food was decent. I had two types of wings that were good. I also ordered the pretzel bites. The cheese wasn't the best. It wasn't smooth and was weird looking. I ordered fries that came out extremely late and weren't all the way cooked through so I sent them back. Our server while friendly was very forgetful. It took forever to just get our waters. As I mentioned my fries came out late because she forgot to put the order in. Also my friend ordered the Mexican corn which she also forgot to put in so it was a long wait. My friend ordered the Brussels sprouts and asked for the sauce on the side. They came out with the sauce on them. Overall all it was an ok experience the service just lacked somewhat.

This Illy Philly and her man were hungry, the power was out in Pittsburgh, and we needed a place to get some hot food so we decided to go to the Fireside Public House for what we thought would be a great experience. Not at all. When we walked in the restaurant had a few people so we thought great, and we waited for someone to seat us, but after about five minutes of watching the staff walk around, not acknowledge us, and not seat us we had to call out to them to ask if we could seat ourselves. We then sat at the bar and this is when the nightmare began... We sat for about 30 minutes before anyone asked us if they could help us. While we were seated we watched people come in, get seated almost immediately and get service....WE were still at the bar...with no service. Finally a waitress came and said she would be with us shortly and took our drink order. My guy ordered a beer and I ordered hot tea. After another 20 minutes he finally got his bear and I got a tea bag....yes, a tea bag and no water. After another 20 minutes she finally brought me the water, but we had to ask her twice just to get it. All in all we waited over an hour and a half to get our food and everyone that came in after us had their food within 15 to 20 minutes. We had to call over the waitress twice and the second time she had an attitude as we 'pleasantly' pointed out that tables that sat after us already received their food. She made excuses, with an attitude, and we still had to wait. Needless to say it was a horrific experience and my suggestion would be to have a conversation/training about good customer service and what that looks like. What was really crazy is after all of that, they didn't even comp our bill for the nightmare and she had an attitude when we asked about this and only took 10% off. Oh, I forgot she did offer my man a free beer. Smh.... If I could give a 0 rating I would.

I've been eating wings since 1978 while I was working at the original Quaker steak and lube in downtown Sharron PA. The wings I just had at this establishment were undoubtedly the best I've ever had. I have the fried buffalo Inferno I had to order some to go. You can get them char, grilled or fried you won't be disappointed.

The pickled items are all done in house, and menu/kitchen are very thoughtful on how they execute. They do the pickling well, and they incorporate their ingredients into the dishes without making them feel unbalanced. Some specifics: Chicken fried pickles: Great ratio of batter to pickle. Generally, I think execution of pickled spears versus chips is fraught with peril. ButterJoint does these perfectly. These remain excellent and an unequivocal "get again" dish. Crispy chicken sandwich: chicken thighs done in one of the House brines, then battered and fried. This is a generous sandwich with two thighs. The batter is light and perfect and perfectly adherent. Kitchen cooked these pieces perfectly; no overdone portions. The tallow fries served as a side remain excellent, and the serving is very generous. "You can't eat just one." Pork belly sandwich: what a completely fun bite! Generous serving of pork belly, crispy on the outside and melting internally on a perfectly toasted roll. The condiments on this sandwich are perfect. The brunch burger is excellent. The egg is hard cooked so it doesn't come apart on the sandwich. M got the corned beef hash; the brisket on it is absolutely amazing, and there is a very nice grill on the potatoes. The poached egg on top is a complete delight. This is one of the better hashes that I have had. The falafel is fantastic. Well seasoned, perfectly cooked. The goat cheese crust with hot pepper jelly is an unexpected treat. Pickle shrimp are fun. The Mississippi comeback sauce is basically a remolade or maybe big Mac sauce. Would totally have again looking for a little cold shrimpy bite. We have never walked away disappointed by the menu or the kitchen. Good bar program, good draught list. Consistently gracious front of house team. Great for lunch or dinner, couples or families. Highly recommended.

Got to try their chicken sandwich and vinegar pie. The chicken sandwich came with a garlic sauce (toum) and fresh vegetables on their signature milk bread. Needless to say, the bun was amazing. The toum was great too, perfectly garlicky. And the chicken was delicious, with a solid portion. A bit on the expensive side though. The vinegar pie sounded super unique and intriguing so I gave that a shot. So glad I did! This is delicious. I can't even really describe it; there's a tiny note of acidity to it, but it's also super sweet. A nice little brown topping as well. It's just really good and you should try it. All in all, recommend this spot. The inside area we were sitting at was a little bleak but other than that, it is a nice place to be!

After spending the day at the National Aviary, it was the perfect place to unwind with a great beer. The West Coast Squish was so good that we had to grab some cans to take home! Thanks for recommending the card game. It made our visit even more memorable! If you're looking for great beer, a laid-back atmosphere, and friendly service, this place is definitely worth a visit. Not pictured but you NEED to get a Cindy's Tea when you come here. They sell these in cans as well I always try and grab a pack if we don't bike here! Their crunch wrap is my favorite thing on their menu. If I'm not getting it as my meal I'm forcing it as a table shareable it is that good. Usually I just get their fries with it which is always yummy but this time I tried their mac and it was so delicious! The Chicken Caesar wrap was so good normally I think places never put enough dressing in them but this was perfectly dressed! We tried their Heirloom Tomato & Watermelon Salad and added chicken to it. Idk where I've been but watermelon on a salad?! AMAZING!!! I wouldn't take off or add anything else to this(except chicken clearly lol) it was so refreshing and light and perfect!

We were the only ones for quite some time and it was a little odd as when we first walked in the lights in the entranceway were off so it almost made them feel like they were closed. Thankfully, there was a server who was folding Silverware who greeted us and had us take a seat. They have several ciders that are available, and I opted to start with a flight. I tried the majority of their seasonal offering with the exception of the pumpkin spice as I'm not a fan in general. I really like the spice cider. It is my favorite. I did end up ordering a glass of it. The food options arevery artisan. My husband opted for the meatballs . They are very large, the overall flavoring to him seemed a little blah. I did try them. I found them to be a very moist and thought the flavoring was good. I opted to do the featured flatbread, which was the mac attack. If you've had a famous, fast food chains signature burger with thousand island dressing you will find similarities. I did find the flatbread crust was a little bit to thick for my liking and there was more sauce on it than there was actual meat. It was OK. They have a private lot, which is fantastic as parking is at such a premium in the city.
