We love checking out new breweries whenever we travel, and Cinderlands Warehouse did not disappoint! The vibe was fantastic from the moment we walked in. After spending the day at the National Aviary, it was the perfect place to unwind with a great beer. The West Coast Squish was so good that we had to grab some cans to take home! We also had a blast playing Phase 10 while enjoying our drinks, which made for such a fun and relaxing afternoon. Our server, Hugo (I think that was his name), was incredibly friendly and welcoming. My preferred method of travel here is by bike but there is a garage nearby that's not bad or you can usually find street parking. Not pictured but you NEED to get a Cindy's Tea when you come here. They sell these in cans as well I always try and grab a pack if we don't bike here! Their crunch wrap is my favorite thing on their menu. If I'm not getting it as my meal I'm forcing it as a table shareable it is that good. Usually I just get their fries with it which is always yummy but this time I tried their mac and it was so delicious! The Chicken Caesar wrap was so good normally I think places never put enough dressing in them but this was perfectly dressed! This location is huge so it's perfect for large groups. While the downstairs is primarily to go and bar seating, the upstairs has full table service. This is a little different as they are set up with toast where you scan the QR menu and place your order and then they bring the food or drink to your table. You don't really have a server per se. We came in on a Friday afternoon around 4 o'clock and it was pretty quiet. We chose to sit upstairs and ordered the season of the month chicken wings. It was sour cream and cheddar dry rub. We did get them well done and I'm glad we did because it did make them crunchy here although they still weren't all that crunchy. The dry rub was actually really good, but it was a little bit like eating Cheetos as when you took your fingers away they were covered in orange powder. They recently updated the menu and got rid of the kale salad which was my go to order while there for trivia. And replaced it with a chopped salad.... I need the kale salad back because it was better than the Chick-fil-A kale salad. They did however add the chicken Caesar wrap to the dinner menu which I have wanted on there for awhile. It was good but I don't think they should be charging $2 extra to have fried chicken instead of grilled. Also I think the wrap could have used more filling and chicken since I paid $2 extra for it! I've been a long time fan of Cinderlands, finally got to try their wing night. I ordered Buffalo, Carolina BBQ, and this month's featured flavor, Orange Teriyaki boneless wings. The flavors were as expected with ample amount of sauce on each. The quality for the price was top notch. They weren't tiny bites and were decently filling. I don't like that you have to pay for both a side of ranch and celery($.75 each), when most wing places provide it complementary. We also had the French onion dip and fries which never disappoint. Have been to Cinderlands multiple times & have never done a review. We were just there on a Sunday night. It was nice enough to sit outside. Not super busy & staff was very friendly & attentive. We always enjoy the beers! Our party of 3 took advantage of the Happy hour draft pitchers & had the Archive: Amber Lager - they define it as Classic American amber lager brewed with pilsner, Munich, and crystal malts and hopped gently with Chinook and Willamette. Crisp and a touch toasty. I describe it as awesome I only took one picture tonight of my Pizza!!! Wow!! Full of flavor & cooked perfectly. I'd prefer a cocktail sauce option(not available) but they do have cholula hot sauce and ketchup to get close. While the bun was high quality it didn't necessarily hold up, but maybe I ate it too slow. The sides were not my favorite as it was too much fried carbs. I certainly appreciated the vinegar based slaw but would personally back down on the sugar. Individuality they were all solid but together was a lot. However if the sides are my only semi complaint I think that's a great sign. Also we are clearly having amazing beer with your fried fish so that's a massive win. What a lovely way to ring in the new year. Spending it for their Hair of the Hog event was a great choice. The ticket included a beautifully curiated menu of a WHOLE HOG BBQ, smoked meats, New Orleans BBQ shrimp , roasted veggies, twice baked potatoes, cornbread and more! My favorite was probably the campfire mushrooms ‍-they were seriously so good. I paired Czech Them Buns, Czech 10° pale lager, 4.3% with my meal and finished with Squish Ink, Black IPA, 6.9%. We stopped in Cinderlands for dinner with family on a Wednesday. The restaurant was not busy the evening we arrived. Cinderlands has a great atmosphere; very clean and open. We were seated promptly. You order through your phone, which allows you to keep a tab going We ordered the bowl of fries, wagyu burger, buffalo chicken dip, and a potato gruyere pizza. Honestly, it's like they tried too hard to come up with 'unique' offerings but with unique combinations comes the risk of missing the mark. The food is certainly not bad, but every item has just a touch of something that makes it not quite work. We ended up not really liking any of them, but "Lil Squish" was ok for me, so I drank that. My sister-in-law liked her stout. I ordered the Breakfast Sando #4 and enjoyed it. It's basically a bacon-egg-cheese sandwich. The BBQ sauce part sounded weird - but it was good, added a slight sweetness. My favorite part was the roasted Dijonaise breakfast potatoes which were nicely caramelized with a punch of feta (I think) throughout. So good! My husband got the fried chicken sandwich which he thought was on the dry side. Sister-in-law got the eggs benedict and liked it. The base was a spur cream & chive biscuit which was an interesting twist. All in all it was a good meal. Our server was nice but overwhelmed with too many tables. We'd probably go back. I went with the Lil Cinder Mango--a classic American light lager made with real mango purée and flavor. It's the perfect summer sipper! Also tried Cindi's Hard Mountain Tea, and as a fan of all things iced tea, this was a dream. It's a hard iced tea, steam brewed and fizz-free, served over ice--super refreshing. From the bites menu, we had: Cheese curds: perfectly crispy, served with marinara. Brussels sprouts: sunflower pesto, cherry tomatoes, couscous, aged provolone, and pistachios. This flavor combo was out of this world--truly a standout dish. We happened to go on a Thursday, which meant Wing Night--tip: mark your calendar! Wings are just $1 each, available in 6 or 12-piece orders. The dry rub flavor was delicious. We also tried a variety of mains: Red Pizza: a classic--marinara with a blend of cheddar, fontina, and parmesan. Simple and so good. Crunch Wrap: shredded beef, Fritos, beer cheese, enchilada sauce, and Aleppo sour cream. Absolutely delicious. Smashed Wagyu Burger: two wagyu patties with grilled onions, dijonnaise, American cheese, bread & butter pickles, all on a Mediterra challah bun. Super fresh and tasty. My husband & I attended the restaurant's first movie night. The chef paired the meal with events (and food) from the film. It was the coolest experience I've ever had in the city. They nailed the ambiance with a darkened room and small candles at each table. Our table was front and center and perfection! We started off with some popcorn and dino chicken nuggets, which were subtly spicy and delicious! Our next course was a Kale Caesar Salad, which wasn't my favorite of the night but I appreciated the effort and uniqueness. Out main entrées consisted of Chilean Sea Bass and Lamb Chop, which both were absolutely divine. The sea bass was different and unique and the potatoes with the lamb chop were perfectly spiced and seasoned! We ended the night with melted ice cream and Gummy dinos. Each meal was perfectly planned from scenes from Jurassic Park, and it was such a cool experience! I found it a little difficult when brussels sprouts appetizer was with something spicy hot, which I wasn't expecting and then everything I had after that was so smoky. not a flavor I enjoy that much. it was very confusing to order from the QR code everything was wrong that we got. So many staff were waiting on us in a confusing incorrect drink and orders. I couldn't understand why they just didn't have a waiter. I don't think I'll go back. More trendy than quality. read more

The ordering system is a breeze - you scan the QR on your table and within minutes (usually less) someone is bringing over your drinks and even your food. Visiting Pittsburg, we self-made a beer tour adventures, choosing Cinderlands as our first stop because of their massive IPA variety- easy street parking in the surrounding area, walking in the airy open patio seating gave a great welcoming ambiance vibe, but the sunshining seating was about the only interesting aspect- food & drink service was managed through a QR code system, which is ideal for a quicker experience, but made learning about their beer, styles, and asking for samples a lot harder- After having toured many breweries in the area- this was admittedly the least engaging. I enjoy asking about beer & the brewery, but the service was disengaged, less social experience, more commercial also hard, navigating the massive selection, since they don't offer flights; Toast asked half or full pour- on the menu it said half-pint/pint- we opted for the Black IPA & Double IPA on draft, but really I have no idea what size pours ours were (maybe less because style or ABV?)- they weren't standard pint glasses, they didn't match each other, nor looked like other pours nearby- wish Toast had it listed out to help decide a bit better- beers were average, we didn't opt for hanging out beyond one 'we tried it' beer read more

We came on a Tuesday night and it was trivia night! Their first floor was closed so everyone was seated upstairs. I got the duck confit ragu, and it was delicious! The duck was shredded though, so it was hard to tell it was confit. You order and pay on your phone. You can even leave the tab open and pay after you're done with your meal. Trivia was also quite fun. Each table just needed one phone to download the app to play. If you didn't want to play Trivia though, the space could be a bit loud. read more

I stopped by here a couple of Fridays ago with my wife. We both had the day off and were looking for a place to have some drinks and Cinderlands Warehouse fit the bill for us. While I have been to other cinderlands beer locations before, I have not been to this specific one. It is an absolutely massive building with a first floor dedicated to only beer with some games and plenty of seating. Then the second floor has both indoor and outdoor seating and is where you can order food. We opted for the second floor because we wanted a small bite as well as some drinks. You can order via a QR code here as we did or a waitress can take care of you if you don't want to or can't. To start off with my wife and I ordered the smoked Buffalo chicken dip. I have to admit that I was pleasantly impressed with it as it had a nice hint of smoke as well as some good spicy Buffalo flavor on the finish. The chips here were good too as they had an almost cool ranch flavor dusted onto them which both my wife and I enjoyed. As for beer, anyone who knows me knows that I always order a flight whenever I visit a new brewery or new brewery location. While there aren't any pre determined flights here, you can order 4 oz beers and I ended up choosing four of them to make my own "flight". For my selections I went with the feurig smoked schwarzbier, star crumb: pumpkin pie tartshake, stash landing '77 imperial west coast IPa and finally the ILINOHPA DIPa. I started out with the Feurig which had a nice smokey flavor with those dark roasted malts at the finish. Second was the star pumpkin which had pumpkin flavor at the start with a weird middle to me and a malty finish. Up third was the Stash landing '77 which had smooth start with citrusy hops coming in at the mid and continuing through the finish. Last but certainly not least was the Ilinohpa which was hoppy from the middle to the end with lots of citrus and a bit of dankiness. Out of the bunch I enjoyed the feurig the best followed by the ILINOHPA. The bottom line for me is that I would head back here again in the future. This place is absolutely massive and I would be curious how many it could but regardless of that they have good food and good drinks as well. read more

Wow, don't judge a book by its cover! Walking up to this spot, I was nervous. It just looks too polished and curated. It kinda looks like a tourist trap. And, being in the touristy strip district, maybe it is. However, they have some of the best beer I've had in PGH! Of particular note is the "icy squish", it's a West Coast Pilsner (already one of my favorite styles) and one of the best representations of that style I've ever had! Indoors there's a street level bar, stairs to the upper floor, and a ramp up to an elevator. On the ramp you can see the brew-master at work! Upstairs there was plenty of indoor and semi-enclosed outdoor seating, even for large groups.
