Industry's nachos are one of the best nachos in the city. The portion is huge, the toppings are always generous too. The chicken tenders and fries are amazing, get the honey mustard. We got a mimosa carafe for $25, I think that's a great deal.
11/14/2025 Ate list: Farmed Out Burgher - 6.8 Industry is a good reliable back pocket option. Had visitors in town, needed a spot that could do a reservation, and needed to be an easy menu and in Lawrenceville. Was easy to get a reservation. Was a bit loud - mostly because of spots acoustics. Staff was nice and attentive. Food was good. Wouldn't go out of my way for it but as a meal to meet our needs, was totally fine. Good spot - will likely be back!
I enjoyed my Brussels sprouts with bacon and Gorgonzola cheese and boneless wings w/honey BBQ sauce. The real showstopper was the Tesla's Coil (cocktail), though!
Marissa, our server, was awesome. Big and open atmosphere. Food is top notch. Lots of fancy beers and bourbons.

I ordered bacon cheddar loaded filament fries with a side of ranch. Also not pictured was a slice of cheese cake with raspberry drizzle. The waitress was so nice and very attentive. My order actually wasn't on the in person menu, just online, but they still gave it to me! Great place to catch up with friends, or pre game a Jonas Brothers concert!
We stopped in to grab a drink before a show at Thunderbird. They have a great beer list with both local and national craft beers. When we went there wasn't a full bar of patrons and we still had a hard time getting a beer. When we were ready to go it took them 25 minutes to look at us so we could close out. I wish I was exaggerating, but I'm not. I would have grabbed another drink had they come by. I probably won't be visiting again.
Stopped in for lunch and split the buffalo chicken flatbread and the nachos, which was a ton of food and delicious. You're not getting gourmet food when you order apps for lunch, but the food hit the spot and we were glad to have stopped in. Our waitress was excellent and kept checking in on us throughout our time there, and made sure we had everything we needed. Definitely recommend this spot!
Industry is a Butler Street mainstay right in the middle of Pittsburgh's thriving Lawrenceville. This warm industrial-themed gastropub has a good draught selection and reasonable bar program. Front of house team has been consistently warm and gracious: they make the visit fun. Kitchen is consistently solid: commentary compiled from multiple visits: - Soft pretzel: gigantic beast of a pretzel. Fluffy and lovely. The beer cheese remains excellent. - Aji tuna bites: this is a lovely piece of tuna seared and crusted with sesame seeds then sliced. - M got boneless wings: he seems very pleased with these. They are hunks of breast. he was pleased with the honey barbecue sauce. - The blast pig burger which has candied bacon, candied jalapeño, caramelized onion and garlic aïoli. I substituted Greer cheese for ghost pepper cheese. This is a lovely burger, but it is a beast. Huge portion. The heat builds. Ultimately, the jalapeño is not messing around. I think there is pork in the ground beef; almost like a meatball. This is a great patty. The crust is fantastic. - Mushroom flatbread: "it's all right. It's not bad. It's pretty good." Sounds to me like doomed by faint praise. - The fries are medium cut, cooked very nicely and completely awesome. They are great with mayonnaise. - Mozzarella : very good thin disks, fried perfectly. The sauce is fantastic. - Buffalo wings: Solid. Not battered, not crispy, but nicely cooked and with a good light buffalo sauce.

She was extremely nice down to earth and just really friendly. they just really did not have a lot of gluten-free options I asked, and the only thing that they really had was a gluten-free bun. None of the appetizers were gluten-free and of course the fries were in a shared fryer, which is fine of course if you just have a gluten intolerance. So a little disappointed by the selection. The only thing I was a little bit disappointed was that we asked for a whiskey and a pickle back shot . Typically it's my understanding that this is done with a dill pickle juice. However they gave us sweet pickle juice, which was one of the hottest most peculiar taste. I had after whiskey. Regardless, the service was good. The location was great. I just wish they really had more gluten-free options.

They were warm and crispy, and the marinara sauce was nice and zesty. My dinner guest opted for the fish and chips, and she was very happy with the portion size for the price. The fish breading was great and flaky, and the fish itself was juicy. I opted for the smoke stack sandwich, and it did not disappoint. The shaved ribeye was cooked to perfection, and the house aioli was a delicious pairing. Both of our meals came with fries, which were fresh and clearly hand-cut. Industry is a great spot for a casual bite, so give it a try if you're in the area!
Great late night drinks and restaurants spot along Butler street! Stopped in after bowling across the street and we were immediately seated. Apps and entrees were great - my friend really enjoyed their mozzarella cogs. The Mac and cheese was so large we had plenty of leftovers to enjoy after!! The seasonal cocktails were great and our server was SO kind.
My BFF and I stopped in here for a late lunch after visiting Randyland/before heading back to Indianapolis for our long weekend away in Pittsburgh. We had already decided on this spot for lunch earlier in the day while having coffee because they came up as one of the best spots in Pittsburgh for macaroni and cheese. Omg.... the macaroni and cheese here insane. Insane portion size, insane flavor, insanely low price point considering we felt like we each had a full box of cavatappi noodles and 8 lbs of cheese in our bowls. I opted to add medium rare steak on top of mine and it was so juicy and melted in my mouth. Definitely the right move for being slightly hungover. They also have 2 hot sauce options, a chipotle and a classic hot sauce, which really kicked the meal up a notch. We sat at the bar and the bartender was really nice. The bar was well-stock and she made us mimosas with no fuss. She was always nearby to ask for more water and for the check when we were ready to cash out. We loved all of the fixtures/Edison bulb lighting (it was well-lit without feeling like you're under a spotlight) and the inside was very spacious. Lots of TVs around the bar, so this would be a great spot to come watch sports while having a delicious meal (not just greasy bar food) and a beverage.
For a quick stop to have a drink (or two) and snack, Industry was great! My wife enjoyed her cider, and my opinion doesn't matter since I got wine at a place that prioritizes beer. With that said, there was plenty of options for a beverage. My pinot noir hit the spot. We got the popcorn as a snack, and the truffle oil, parmesan, and chives were a powerful flavor trio. It was delicious. Also, the serving was plenty for two people. I didn't give five stars since we didn't really try much else, so it's hard to rate, but the service, the vibe, and the popcorn were top notch! read more

Service is hit or miss tbh, even at the bar. But the woman who took care of us was great. they made their nachos even bigger than before! Food is a little pricey but the nachos are worth the value for sure. We just got some apps and drinks and it was over $100. read more

I'm normally not a fan bc of how crowded it is, but this night was perfect. We got a table fairly fast and our good times kept rolling. I got the turkey club which I may go to with fresh fries. I stuck with a Coca Cola but the drink menu is pretty rounded if you want one. It's relaxed and casual and a great place to hang out and grab food with friends. Our waitress was totally chill and a vibe which was great. She checked in routinely and was uber understanding when some of our party had to leave mid dinning. read more
One of my top favorite Pittsburgh salads in the city! We always start off with the soft pretzel; it's your perfect tasting soft pretzel that's great to share with everyone at the table. My entree is always the arsenal chicken salad with honey mustard dressing. The chicken is always cooked perfectly, the fries are salty and crisp, the veggies are fresh, and I'm a sucker for hard boiled eggs in salad. I also tried the Pierogies which were very yummy! A reliable spot for some good American food if you're in the Lawrenceville area! read more
Came here for a dinner with friends and the food was pretty good! The pretzel was so soft and the beer cheese was great to dip into. The drinks were great too, and came fairly quickly. The seitan wings were pretty good, but the hot buffalo sauce was slightly too salty for me. The waitress for our table was super nice and helpful! Overall great experience at Industry! read more
Came here on a recent Pittsburgh weekend trip and had brunch with local friends. Service took a very long time, but the food was above average. I had the pot roast meal, which was a heaping bowl of creamy mashed potatoes covered with gravy ladened fall-apart pot roast, carrots and onions. Went here recently with a larger group for a work lunch. Called for a reservation the day before and they were very accommodating. Service was a tad on the slow side but understandable for a big group (20-30 mins from ordering to getting our food). Most folks in our group got burgers, which were very large and tasty. I got the farmhouse, which had a large slice of bacon and an egg. A bit messy when the yolk squirted out but no big deal. Definitely did not leave me hungry! I tried the side of Brussels sprouts with bacon bits, which was just okay (a bit soupy and soggy). They have a pretty large menu if you aren't into burgers. read more

Industry is my favorite late night food place. It's spacious, there's tv to watch the games, and the service has always been attentive. The fish and chips sauce wasn't a tartar sauce, it was reminiscent of Cane's chicken sauce, and it was sooo good with the meal. The cole slaw was tossed in more of the same sauce but I couldn't get enough of that sauce so the repetition was fine with me. Anything I've tried from this place thus far has been delicious. read more
This will always be my favorite go-to spot. I highly recommend the pretzel and everything else. I've been here 3+ times and they never disappoint. It's a must try place if you're in the neighborhood. The staff are attentive and great. They have multiple seating areas including outside dining. There's always cocktail specials and happy hour is a good time to go. Personally, I wasn't blown away by anything, but the rest of my party enjoyed their meal. Classic bar atmosphere, clean and quite spacious. Service was good, and the prices were average I guess. My salad was pretty boring, but the chicken was good. I tried the tacos which were tasty--but mainly just for the corn tortillas. The highlight was the sliding high-top tables. Industry is one of the better places to grab a late night beer, drink or food in Lawrenceville and the atmosphere is always popping with college kids and adults alike. It's a good mix of all kinds of different people and that is what makes this place what it is. Fun, cool, exciting and relaxing. I have never ate here, but their food looks delicious! Recently, I stopped in late one night to have some local seasonal beers that were on tap while staying in the area. The people sitting at the bar made my visit on this day in particular better than usual. A lot of laughs and smiles were happening. I loved that! Our bartender was good and we really liked his personality. Customer service at its finest. Thanks my guy! I'll always stop in for a late night beer or drink while I am staying in the area. read more

Honestly was super impressed at the staff for accommodating our large group with about 11 adults and 8 kids. Luckily the day we came in for brunch was not super busy, and they were able to get us another 2 tables side by side. They do take reservations for large groups so definitely would recommend making it in advance. The brunch was okay, the steak and eggs were a bit underwhelming. I would prefer the typical menu items like their salads or burgers. The 9thward salad is super filling - like a pound of kale topped with a grilled salmon fillet with got cheese, apples, and blackberries. Overall, food was good and staff were friendly. read more
I was in town for business and when I asked the hotel for some places that they would recommend unique dining, this was mentioned as it was about 3 minutes from the hotel (near Pittsburgh airport). Arrived around 6:15 and they said outdoor patio dining was still available and we were led to a table right to the edge of the patio with a direct view of the Pittsburgh valley and it was cool to see planes flying in. It was a perfect LAST official day of summer to enjoy the view and ambience. This place is really cool, whether you dine inside or out. Inside is very industrial, hence the name, with exposed venting, ceiling, etc. They have an extensive beer list of tap which the waitresses present to you on a device or on TVs scrolling the list. Our waitress, Melissa, was awesome. I told her we were new to the place and asked what she would recommend between the Reuben and the Bison burgher (note Pittsburgh spelling). She didn't even hesitate and said the burger. The food was out in no more than 15 minutes and were delightfully surprised! I took one bite and she was right - holy moly she was right! It was amazing! I ate about 7/8s of it; I couldn't stop!! Accompanied with a great Moscow Mule, perfect weather, and the view, I was so relaxed and didn't want to leave! Highly recommend and will definitely revisit when back in the area!!! read more

Went with 3 of my friends . Cute and clean restaurant. Server was nice, but drink & food service was super slow. Portions were large . We started with the calamari that came with marinara for dipping . Pieces were cut too big and breading was too thick and not seasoned . We also ordered the fried pickle chips . Definitely better than calamari, but chips were more like big chunks - it was just ok . I had a grilled chicken salad - it was an extremely large portion of lettuce - blue cheese dressing was good . Others had hot chicken sandwich and fries , friend said it was good, but garlic aioli was bland . Another friend had the sirloin steak & eggs. She said steak was well seasoned and tender & her eggs were cooked to order . Other friend had the fried fish & chips - she said it was excellent and would recommend. This restaurant turned out to be a pleasant surprise. They have a very good draft beer selection. We both got hamburgers. These had very high-quality tasty meat. Prepared just right. We asked for the french fries extra crispy. They delivered. I like the ambience here. The only thing I would point out to ownership is on the padded seats in the booths, it is essentially a piece of wood with a worn out thin piece of foam underneath. I suggest to get better padding. Other than that, I would give this place a visit every chance I get. read more

This is our first visit to the Industry Public House. I had never heard of this place and found out that they have several locations across the city. This place is great when you walk inside bar in the front entrance and in the back. They have a lot of space in this place. Apparently they have their own beer on tap that they brew. They also have a lot of other beers on tap from other breweries here in Pittsburgh and external, including cocktails, and wine and much more. Our service was quick and on time. This is a great dining experience to be added to Lawrenceville. It's needed and helps allow the area to really thrive and do great things. Loved this place and will be back. read more
