so "$0.50/ea wing night 6" (dine in only) so assume have to order in 6s...order 12, 6 hot and 6 garlic parm...whilst there's NOBODY else in the entire restaurant (large seating area) there's only me and two other folks at the bar... So I order a $6 miller lite and 12 wings upon sitting down....SOMEHOW, being 'wing night' it takes 25 minutes for my wings to arrive...pretty funny. anyways so can only eat 8 of 12 wings (should prob asked if "6" meant 'minimum' or 'order interval', but they were only $50) and ask for some tin foil or to go container....told, "we don't do that bc special" For the record, I also drank another $6 miller lite during this period. HAHAHAHAH....that's pretty funny....so somebody who NEEDLESSLY (place was empty, should've been a sign, suppose) spends over an hours there, eating 75% of there food and drinking $6 miller lites doesn't constitute 'DINE IN'?????? Tried to order Door Dash from Elly's (was traveling in the area for work) and after waiting 1.5 hrs, had to cancel my order. They kept telling the driver 10-15 min but the food was never ready. What a waste of time. read more

Our experience was great! Staff was welcoming and helpful. Atmosphere was comfortable bar with table seating in the front was had a great, warm, local feel but darker. Table seating in the back was bright open and spacious. Several dartboards were in the bar as well as a pool table and huge screen in the back room. Food was good! It was meatball Monday so my daughter and I split a meatball hoagie. Good thing we did as it was huge! They split it for us and gave us each plenty of tasty fries! We also could not pass up the sautéed pierogi, which were so goood! Could not beat the price of $20 for all plus soda!! read more

Everything here is always amazing! Good environment they have a back room that is usually a lil quieter than the front bar area. Its has pool table dart board and 2 jukeboxes. Free pool and jukebox on Tuesdays! The food is always very good and tastes mostly homemade. The drinks are always nicely poured ;) and tasty! You cant beat there happy hr either 10-12pm. The bar tenders are very kind and make sure everyone is taking care of love it here! read more

I visited here one evening for Karaoke night and just had drinks, no food. There was a bit of a crowd, and it seemed that many of the regular locals here knew one another. Karaoke must be a consistent weekly event. I don't have a need to go back again, but I won't mind if I do. read more

My husband and I stopped here for lunch, and one of the specials was burgers & fries or chips. Since I love burgers that's what I ordered. That burger was so delicious! Usually I don't finish a burger, but I ate every bite of it. The fries were just as good. The service was amazing, and the waitress was very pleasant. It was such a great lunch! Saw the new menu items on Facebook and had to stop in. Hot Turkey sandwich with Gravy and mashed potatoes on the side was fantastic. Cant wait to try the club next and we'll definitely be stopping by for breakfast too. We first stopped in after moving near by 3 years ago and have kept coming back for the friendly and attentive staff, the fantastic food, and welcoming atmosphere. They're generally showing the popular games and have events like karaoke. I proudly support woman owned. But this joint keeps getting mt business because they're doing it right. read more

We tried the other location first by random chance and they did not compare. This location was not as guest friendly for dining as the other. There is a pool table in the dining room and the music was so loud you could not hear to talk. Since we were back in dining area it seemed as if we were forgotten until more diners came in. As far as the food it was good, fish sandwich and fried chicken sandwich with wing sauce. I think I'd only get takeout here again. read more

What an excellent find. My friend and I checked Elly's out and were very surprised. This place has had many names and was on my list to try. First, the place does not look like much from the outside. When you walk in you, the decor has a warm feel. Lots of woods and dark colors. They have a large bar with the most comfortable bar chairs. I think I have sat in. The chairs are made from wine barrels, according to one patron. The staff was very friendly and helped us navigate the menu. We ordered the Prime Rib Sandwich and the Elly's Special. All were good. We did get an appetizer of the pierogies. The service was excellent, the Food was delicious, and the place was cool. The only negative is regarding the parking. This place was popular and had limited spots. Just be prepared to park on one of the streets. read more

I was "cut off" by Tara the nasty blonde with a the boob job and extensions in her hair. She yelled I was cut off to the entire bar, embarrassed me in front of everyone. There was no call for it and as a former bartender, I know my limits and I know how to cut someone off appropriately. I was not at that point. She harassed me and my friend over our IDs even though she's seen me in there multiple times and knows us by name, she has never abided by the stated "free play pool Wednesday all day". Shes done this on multiple occasions and she never offers a menu when we are in the dining room playing pool or gives the right approach as a bartender. She is a tyrant and an asshole, I wont be back until she's fired. She treats us completely different because my friend and I are women, the men get treated like royalty meanwhile the women patrons get treated like we don't deserve to be in her presence. I have brought male friends to the bar and she has given a refill to my male friends but just completely ignores me even though I am sitting right there. read more

I have reviewed Elly's before because I wanted to make sure I was singing their praises about their French dip and their house chips. I understand places have good days and bad days. Yesterday was one of those bad days; for lunch, the service and the food took two hours! The server was very nice but super casual. We watched her walk around a lot and just didn't expedite things quickly at our table. We had to ask for somebody to go get her so that we could get our bill. I asked for sweet potato fries instead of regular fries and the up charge was $4.00 dollars .... $4!!!! for a handful of soggy sweet potato fries. A neighborhood place that used to be one of my favorite (and our office) regular spots; they let the whole table down and we will not be going during lunch anymore. read more

If you're going to the outlets or to the casino, you gotta eat at Elly's at the Meadowlands! Have been here twice and got the chicken and steak salads both times- 10/10. The salads are big and they use fresh spring mix instead of that crappy iceberg mix, plus they make their own ranch and it's delicious. My son got the chicken parm sandwich and loved it. Service was excellent. This restaurant was previously Beechies, and my uncle ran it for over 30 years. I have so many memories of this place and will keep coming back when I'm in the area. read more

Note: there is limited parking in the parking lot which slopes down drastically. You may or may not find parking on the street as the restaurant sits on a hill and it's a residential area in the back. If you're looking for a place to have a couple of drinks and some food, this might be your place. BUT if you're looking for a spot for just food, I would not recommend it. I ordered pick up when I called them to place my order. They told me that it would take about 20 mins. I got there 25 mins after placing the order and it was not ready. Then when I was paying, I realized that they had charged me for an icy lite which I did not have. After waiting another 20 mins, I got my food which was not a big deal since they're short staffed everywhere. I was excited to try the food as the pictures looked amazing on the website. I got wings, pierogies and a caesar wrap with fries. To my disappointment, this was bar food quality. The wings were dry and had no flavor at all, the only positive was that they do give you plenty of carrots and celery to accompany the wings. The caesar wrap was meh and the fries were small. Just received my Postmates order from here. I've never had their food before. Food took an hour and a half. Ordered wings, fries, and. Sandwich. I received two orders of wings. As a service industry worker, I'm well aware of how to handle to go orders. Will never attempt to order or eat from here again. Just had the "Jumbo" fish sandwich. It was overpriced and over cooked, and the two filets were as thin as a pancake. The previous owners, Rocky's, were noted for their generous portion fish sandwiches at a reasonable price. Alas, the present owners considerably cheap one the product! With the help of Annie, we were able to reserve the back room for a Kanikapila (music sharing party with food). She helpfully suggested a preordered, limited menu to ease a sudden crowd of nearly 60 people on the kitchen. We were able to arrive at 6:00 and all of us have drinks and food by 6:45 - with separate checks!!!! The service was amazing and they were able to accommodate my food allergies. This isn't a new place....just been bought and sold twice since I found it.. When it was rockys the chicken tasted like fish and the fries tasted like fish.. This was the first time back in a long time. There were three people in our group..One got the Buffalo chicken sandwich and said it was good..didn't taste like fish. The other got a HUGE fish sandwich...enjoyed it...I got shrimp and it was the oxymoron of jumbo shrimp..it was good. Went here for the perogies, was not disappointed. Besides the perogies I had the fish, giant lightly fried golden piece of fish. Well worth it. I've ordered the wings with only one dry rub for several years. My wife ordered the full price wings during a multitude of happy hour and daily specials. Instead of the sriracha-ranch, which is one of two dry rubs the other being Cajun, we received a very sweet seasoning. We asked the staff about the discrepancy and they did not have an answer unfortunately. The Elly's Signature Sandwich is enormous and delicious. It's a sophistocated version of Primanti Bros, the bread is fresh (garlic Texas toast adds the right flavors and texture), the meat is abundant and the coleslaw and fries are perfect.
