This spot is very cute and spacious! It's an intimate vibe with mood lighting. The server was nice. It's a speakeasy in the south side which is fun since the outside is very discrete. The menu has a limited number of cocktails on there, 6. Our group tried a lot of the drinks. Many of us got the perfectly spring and it was very strong. I think it's a drink that is made basically with all alcohol. The sailors say drink was really good albeit spicy. Someone said it tasted like an Italian sausage and I could see it. Friends liked the suntory time a lot. The coffee cocktail on the menu was also really good. It's a cool spot to check out if you're in the area! They are pretty creative with their creations.

Excellent cocktails. This is the bar that bar people come to. I guess that there are other quality cocktail bars downtown, but Acacia stands alone on the South Side. This is a Bourbon Sour. These guys are for real. 10/10.

Small cocktail bar along E Carson St. Very much has speak easy vibes with little to no curb appeal. It's dimly lit once inside complimenting the speakeasy feel. Phenomenal cocktails and knowledgeable bartenders! It is a small space with a back room that is sometimes closed to public for private events. Stop in for a cocktail!

This is the best place to get a cocktail in the south side! The bar is small and hidden, so it is very easy to walk past without even realizing it. The staff are amazing and super friendly here. My friend and I were greeted the second we walked in on a busy Saturday night. The bartender gave us water right when we sat down at the bar and continued to fill it throughout the night without us even asking. The drinks they made were also very good. They have an apple cider punch on the day we went for $6 a glass. Very reasonable price for a great cocktail, definitely the best price I've seen at a cocktail place.

This is a traditional speakeasy in every sense: from the windows shrouded in newspaper so passerby's cannot see inside, to the dimly lit interior, to the excellent mixologists who can whip up anything your heart desires. The drinks are all excellently crafted and reasonably priced. If there is something you have as a "go to" - share with the bartender and they can put a spin on it. Like gin but not sure how to make a cocktail (other than a G&T) with it? Let them wow you with a lemon/lavender concoction. Like it simple? They have an amazing selection of bourbon, whiskey, and amaro. Pro tip - if its DEAD in there (rarely), ask very nicely and they will make you a traditional Ramos Gin Fizz (all 12 minutes of shaking!).

Acacia has the coolest, low-key, speakeasy vibes... darkly lit with the windows boarded and an entire wall of liquor bottles above the bar. Their cocktail menu is creative and thoughtful. My husband loved the Old Fashioned, and I really enjoyed The Architect. The bartenders are very attentive and knowledgeable, too!

I LOVE ACACIA!!!! They make some of the best cocktails in the city. They also have an amazing selection of hard to find liquors. There's always a fresh cocktail menu but they have no problem going off menu to make you exactly what your craving.

The BEST drinks in the city!! Plus, all the drinks are priced very fairly at around $10 each. My boyfriend and I are obsessed with Acacia. They always have about 4 featured cocktails on their menu and can make any other cocktail you can think of. Acacia also has a highball machine that makes amazing highballs. All of the servers and bartenders are really helpful. If nothing on the featured cocktail list is peaking your interest, they will recommend a drink for you to try. The bar really does feel like a speak easy. It is a very easy place to miss if you have not visited before. The lighting is also pretty dim. This is a fantastic date night spot or place to have a relaxed night with friends.

Small little speakeasy in Pittsburgh. It's was kind of hard to found at night since they have any crazy lighted sign. The atmosphere is pretty chill, and calm for a Saturday. The place had a medium amount of people. I ended up ordering the smoked black bean dip and a couple of beers. The Igor's Dream RIS and Honey-spot Road IPA were tasty. The black bean dip was good. The staff was kind and friendly. Overall it was a cool place.

The place has a wide open and welcoming environment. Sure it gets busy, but you never feel without space to stretch out. The bowing, the games, and the slides are all great. Lots of fun. And tons of "free" stuff to do in there. I enjoy that you can bring in outside food. I wish that they had napkins or something for you, but not a big deal! The beer variety is great and the cocktails are pretty good. Can you tell I'm eager to get to the bad? It's the service. Mainly the bar service. This is a sample size of probably 10+ times being here and without a doubt, most of the bartenders are miserable, not polite, always act as if you are inconveniencing them. It's wild. It's not always the same person. I see new bartenders all the time there and without fail, they are really bad. The woman who was working the first floor main bar on Saturday 1/17 around 1:30pm was by far the worst. She was so bad that I'm at a breaking point and I need to avoid this place for awhile. Pins Mechanical - please fix this culture of bad service. It's a shame and unnecessary.

The whole space-themed concept makes it feel like an experience, not just a night out. The vibes are fun, a little quirky, and perfect if you want something outside the usual bar scene. The drinks are delicious, creative, and honestly just as cool to look at as they are to drink. Definitely one of those places I'd go back to again. When we walked in, the host greeted us right away, asked for our name, and seated us pretty quickly. There were actually a good amount of open seats, so I am not sure reservations were completely necessary, but it was still nice to have one. I honestly expected the inside to feel more extravagant and space themed, almost like an outer space vibe with more visual elements and atmosphere. I was hoping for something more immersive and futuristic. It was still cool overall, just not quite as visually dramatic as I imagined. We ordered an espresso martini and the Kiwi Nova. I really enjoyed my drink, especially after talking with the host who explained that they use scientific processes for their cocktails along with fresh purées and fresh ingredients. That is something I really appreciate because I am not a fan of drinks made with a lot of simple syrup or fake additives. He loved his espresso martini and said it was one of the best he has had. My drink was definitely on the sweeter side and I feel like too much of it might lead to a hangover, but it was still really good. Our server was attentive at first, but later on we ended up waiting a while to order another round. After sitting for a bit, we decided to order through the hostess instead and she got us taken care of right away. Overall, it was a cool experience mainly for the drinks. The cocktails were definitely the highlight. Service was okay, and I am not sure if we will return, but I am glad we finally got to check it out.

You walked in and can either take the stairs or elevator up to the third floor. There's a couple of couches, a water fountain, and some memorabilia on the ground floor. The second is off limits. The taproom is pretty big and we didn't sit outside since it was cold but there's a rooftop deck as well. There's a food counter with a small menu and two open bars from different breweries. I like that they have smaller pours that are reasonably priced. I'm a dark beer lover and they had a few options for me. We sat there at the bar and closed down the place. There is an outdoor ground level patio and bars in the nice weather but that is all currently closed. There is also a rooftop space which I have been to before and it's great. It's nice to be able to sit outside and enjoy the views while having a nice drink, though it can get crowded. Inside there is plenty of seating. You can grab a stool at the bar by Abstract Realm. There are large tables. TVs around. Plenty of room to gather. I personally have not tried the food but it's nice that there is a kitchen there to grab some food. As far as the beer I think it will be helped when the third brewery opens just to give some more variety and options which is needed. There is a parking lot but it is small and can fill quickly which may leave you looking for nearby street parking. Overall I think this can be a great stop. It's nice to have a few different breweries where people can each find something to their liking while you are able to gather and socialize.
