Wings and fried pickles!
Jayme B.

I've gone here a couple of times on Monday for their wing special night. The wings are always good, they have a nice variety of flavors, and there is never a wait. The service is always stellar too. In addition to food, they have a good selection of drink and food options. There's also big TV's above the bar, making it a perfect place to check out a game. I never have trouble finding parking when I go.

It was our first time here. Their restaurant week menu was so unique to everyone else, we had to try it out. It was very crowded when we walked in at both the bar and the tables. First thing we noticed was the creative menus that fit the library theme. Viewing the menu, we already knew we would come back with the variety of items on the menu and the prices are very reasonable. Our food was delicious and we enjoyed the atmosphere. We are not fans of going to South Sude anymore, but we definitely want to come back to the Library.

The Library hosted my group for dinner. There was a nice variety on the menu that wasn't too expensive. Everyone enjoyed their meals (burgers, bang bang shrimp, salmon and Brussels sprouts), and the cocktails were good. Our server was nice, and she split the bill for us. The only problem was the noise level--it was hard to have a conversation over the music.

Met some friends for brunch here on a Sunday. Place was packed to the gills but we lucked out and got a table right by the door. Service was reasonable but not particularly fast. Prices were pretty affordable. I ordered the brunch smash burger and it was delicious. Would absolutely come back again.

We came for Sunday brunch, and this place was packed! It was quite lively with a room full of 20 year olds. It made this place feel like it was the place to be. On the other hand, it was so loud that it was hard to have a conversation. The restaurant looked understaffed. It took probably 15min before we could place our orders, and another 20min before the food came. I love the interior design of the place and the whole library theme carried out on the menus. My breakfast bowl had a layer of perfectly cooked scrambled eggs on the bottom, topped with sausage, bacon, potatoes and cheese. It was so yummy, I would come back just for this dish. Service was friendly and helpful. It just took a little long to get our food.

First, the decor is everything. Wall sconces, shelves of books, and a cozy vibe. Unfortunately, the service did not live up to the decor. I went with a group of 5. When we arrived, there was a sign to seat yourself. The only table available was still dirty and hadn't been cleared. We did sit down, but had to ask someone to clean the table for us. It seemed like they were short staffed. However, the drinks and food were great! The menu theming is excellent--the food menu is organized like a table of contents and all of the cocktails had bookish names. The sweet potato fries and sweet potato gnocchi were delicious. Overall, I would come back, but maybe on a weeknight instead of the weekend.

Happy Hour, Burgers, and Trivia all on a Wednesday Night? What more could you ask for?! We arrived to The Library just in time to snag seats at the bar. The service was prompt and friendly. The house rose was really good and only $5 during HH. The burgers were half off and we ordered the Smash and BBQ. Both hit the mark for flavors and quality. The chips served were really fresh. The sweet potato fry upgrade was worth it too. The trivia was an added bonus. The Great Gatsby cocktail had a tasty hibsicus flavor and I would order it again. The Library has a variety of great specials throughout the week. I plan to explore more of them!

First time having brunch at The Library on Carson. We love their cocktails, so we wanted to try some food. We couldn't order off of the full lunch menu during brunch, but they had lots of great options. The avocado toast could use some more flavor, but the bread was light and fluffy. The wings were especially flavorful. Portions were great. Next time, we definitely want to try their lunch and their bottomless mimosa special!

My friend and I had a great time here during happy hour on a recent Wednesday which also happens to be 1/2 priced burger day! We sat at a high top on the bar side and the bartender was quick to wait on us and take our food and drink orders. Cocktails are $2 off during HH and I went with the "A court of Thorns and Roses" drink and my friend ordered the "Annabel Lee". We bought thought they were beautifully presented and tasted just as good. My friend had a side salad and I ordered the creamy tomato soup as an appetizer. The soup was a little peppery and definitely creamy. Perfect to warm you up on a cool fall day! We both ordered the classic smashburger with fries for +1. The burger came out much larger than I expected and was juicy and flavorful, but not really that messy! The fries were fresh and just needed a little bit of salt. The head chef came out to check on us, which we appreciated. The restaurant is currently decorated for halloween in both the bar section and the dining area. I loved all the thoughtful touches. This is a fantastic option for HH and I'll definitely be back.

Had such a nice time at the Library on Carson to catch up with a friend. The library vibes made the ambiance so cozy and intimate. The food and drinks were wonderful. Cierra was our server and took great care of us during our visit. Emily stopped over at our table as well during our visit- the staff was so friendly and helpful. We started with 2 glasses of Prosecco that were a special that evening ($4 each), shrimp cocktail and oysters. Everything was SO good and so fresh. After our starters, we had truffle fries with parmesan, Brussel sprouts, garlic, grilled cheese bites and the honey pig pie. Their menu had a variety of options that anyone can find something good. They have daily specials every night: Monday: Wing Night - $0.75 Cent Wings Tuesday: $1 Oysters $1 Shrimp $4 Prosecco Wednesday: Half-Off Burgers Thursday: College Night $3 Wells/Claws $10 Select Pizza Saturday/Sunday: Brunch $15 Bottomless Mimosa They have happy hour specials and are available on Uber eats and takeout. There is a perfect space upstairs for private events and also have pool and darts! I would highly recommend the library on Carson to all! Will definitely be back again. Thanks for the wonderful night.

Went here on wing night (75¢ each) and it was so good!! Our waitress was great and I love the vibe here - great date spot! Wings were really good and it was such a good deal.

Officially a regular here again. Under new ownership, I've explored the menu over the past year and really enjoy the Wednesday half off smash burgers and Monday 65 cent wings with unique flavors such as elote (almost a street corn crema) and Smokey blue that is great for dipping fries. Bartenders are attentive and friendly. Owner is always seeking feedback. Really hope this place is doing well!

This space is really cute!! Love the books theme and the staff was pretty nice. We were here later in the night so the kitchen was only doing fried food. We liked their fries a lot. Friends got a lot of the cheese fries and the loaded fries. The drinks were fun and creative and named after books. I really liked my mezcal drink and they had fun butter beer drinks. The seasonal menu is cute and they did themed drinks for halloween. I think that drinks are very reasonably priced here. Definitely recommend checking it out if you're looking for a cute bar and a spot for food in the south side!

You walked in and can either take the stairs or elevator up to the third floor. There's a couple of couches, a water fountain, and some memorabilia on the ground floor. The second is off limits. The taproom is pretty big and we didn't sit outside since it was cold but there's a rooftop deck as well. There's a food counter with a small menu and two open bars from different breweries. I like that they have smaller pours that are reasonably priced. I'm a dark beer lover and they had a few options for me. We sat there at the bar and closed down the place. This place is a little out of the way but I would come back!

There is an outdoor ground level patio and bars in the nice weather but that is all currently closed. There is also a rooftop space which I have been to before and it's great. It's nice to be able to sit outside and enjoy the views while having a nice drink, though it can get crowded. Inside there is plenty of seating. You can grab a stool at the bar by Abstract Realm. There are large tables. TVs around. Plenty of room to gather. I personally have not tried the food but it's nice that there is a kitchen there to grab some food. As far as the beer I think it will be helped when the third brewery opens just to give some more variety and options which is needed. There is a parking lot but it is small and can fill quickly which may leave you looking for nearby street parking. Overall I think this can be a great stop. It's nice to have a few different breweries where people can each find something to their liking while you are able to gather and socialize.

The place has a wide open and welcoming environment. Sure it gets busy, but you never feel without space to stretch out. The bowing, the games, and the slides are all great. Lots of fun. And tons of "free" stuff to do in there. I enjoy that you can bring in outside food. I wish that they had napkins or something for you, but not a big deal! The beer variety is great and the cocktails are pretty good. Can you tell I'm eager to get to the bad? It's the service. Mainly the bar service. This is a sample size of probably 10+ times being here and without a doubt, most of the bartenders are miserable, not polite, always act as if you are inconveniencing them. It's wild. It's not always the same person. I see new bartenders all the time there and without fail, they are really bad. The woman who was working the first floor main bar on Saturday 1/17 around 1:30pm was by far the worst. She was so bad that I'm at a breaking point and I need to avoid this place for awhile. Pins Mechanical - please fix this culture of bad service. It's a shame and unnecessary.
