A group of nine of us stopped by Saturday evening around 6:30pm and were able to get a table right away. Our server, Bella, was super nice and checked in on us at appropriate intervals. The food and drinks we got were very reasonably priced and hit the spot. Bella was also able to give us separate checks which was great! There is a rooftop that looks great but we didn't get to explore due to the weather - next time!

Not very vegetarian friendly. First off, with the half priced burgers deal, the veggie patty is still listed at full price. Once, when getting loaded fries, I specified "no bacon" on my fries, yet there was still bacon on my fries. I was able to get a new plate of fries thankfully. I once ordered a basket of fries with a cup of cheese and there was bacon mixed into my side of cheese. It is hard to eat here as a vegetarian, even when the Google search for Stack'd advertises vegetarian dishes. Also service is often slow with an almost 40 minute wait for food.

Great burger option in Oakland. Stopped by for lunch, and it was quiet but not empty. The service was great - our waitress was friendly and knew the menu. There is a big tv on the wall for watching sports game, and the whole place has a pretty chill vibe. Outdoor seating is available. The fried pickles are awesome, but I wish I had stuck with my tried and true sweet baby ray's BBQ for the burger instead of trying the honey chipotle bbq - just wasn't for me.

Today is Sunday January the 11th of 2026 I called this establishment at 1:30pm a young lady answered I made her aware I'd like to place an order for pickup and she said sure give me one sec I said alrighty no problem which let into 5mins which then led into 15 minutes and then 25 minutes when I finally decided to hang up. Very unprofessional and lazy workers! It's snowing here in Pittsburgh and I'd prefer to order ahead and pick my food up but with these inconsiderate workers they hire and let's not mention rude because you knew you picked that phone up and spoke to a customer and then nothing! It is now 3:52 and that phone is still of the hook! I've been calling and calling to place and order due to that fact my card was compromised so this is my only alternative to avoid waiting 20mins in the cold for a burger when there are people on the clock! What's the point of offering over the phone ordering if you don't want to do your job. Things like this hurt an establishment not only are they missing out on money they are rude! I love their burgers but the girls they have working are the worst! Not all but about two and for the phone to off the hook for hours speaks volumes about this establishment. Terrible! And this isn't the first time it has happened, it's like they do this purposely so no one's calls come through. I'd be very disappointed if I was the owner of this establishment! I accidentally deleted my call log once I hung up after the long wait but here's the proof of the phone just being off the hook and calls going straight to voicemail thereafter

Food is Amazing and workers are so nice! Love the vibes of the place and although it's kind of small, It's still a good place! There's a list of everything and you can mark off what you like! Definitely a recommend!

I haven't been to a Stack'd in a couple years but it was right by our errands in Oakland so we stopped in for lunch. I like how many premium toppings like mushrooms and onions are free toppings and not just lettuce and tomato. I also got peanut butter for free while their competition charges $1 for that. I splurged for the Bison burger and still didn't break the bank. A couple notes on the restaurant though... We were seated in the entryway on the lower level and had peoples butts right at head level to our right which was rather uncomfortable. If the wall was solid it would've been better. Service was also a little slow.

If you're craving a juicy, custom burger, Stack'd is the spot for you! They offer so many options to be able to customize exactly the sandwich you're looking for (including veggie burger choices!), and they also have a pretty good draft list. While we went for lunch, the restaurant also has a pretty good happy hour as well! I'm sad the location near my apartment closed, but at least the Oakland location is still around. The only downside is that they do tend to get slammed at lunchtime & service was extremely slow. We dined inside because it was so hot out, but I would definitely go back to check out the rooftop at some point! Food: B+ Drinks: B Service: C Ambiance: C

The fries are my favorite part about Stack'd. They also have some of the most delicious cocktails I've ever had (not pictured), so I highly recommend them. They are usually busy so there might be a little bit of a wait and food takes usually pretty long to come out as well.

While Stack'd gives off major college bar vibes, it packs a pretty decent punch when it comes to quality in the food department. Located right off the University of Pittsburgh campus in the heart of all the action, it's definitely got an upbeat atmosphere that make it a great place to meet up, socialize, and hang out. For appetizers/sides, we ordered curly fries, onion rings, and mozzarella sticks. These I'd consider pretty average (3/5), with nothing in the recipe that added any distinctive wow factor when it comes to taste. The mozzarella sticks were underwhelming with regards to quality, and were covered with parmesan cheese, which detracted from the taste you're supposed to get from the mozzarella cheese. For meals, we had the burger and chicken sandwich. These were both a solid 4.5/5 and very good. I liked that you can fully customize them with toppings, cheese, and buns, and they were cooked/prepared to perfection. Service was friendly too, and our waitress checked in with us just the right amount, Stack'd is definitely a place I'd recommend to others and return to, but I'd skip the appetizers/sides next time and just go with the main meals which were delicious.

Nut allergy warning: Peanut butter is an optional ingredient in their toppings list and they also have a peanut butter shake option. For those reasons, dining in can be a risk with a nut allergy. I didn't order food here, but my partner did. Dropped in on a Friday evening around 7:30PM. It was packed! Small line of 3-4 groups outside that grew to 5-7 groups while I watched. There isn't any waiting room inside except for a small entryway, so you will be waiting in the cold if you come at a bad time of the year. Inside are about 20 tables for groups of 2-4, so you may get lucky as a group of 2. My beer came relatively quickly, although not topped off. Prices are normal for a sports bar with $3.50-$4 for light beers and $7-8 for regional craft beers. I tasted my partner's chicken tenders and fries and was disappointed. I'm pretty sure the tenders had more breading than meat, and the fries were soggy and tasteless. The OMFG sauce they used for the wings was tangy and had some kick, almost reminding me of a habanero sauce. Silverware also wasn't brought out until requested, which I guess is fine for a burger place but not having napkins was pretty annoying too. They are not available by default (only ketchup on the table). The burgers were well reviewed by other members of our group, but I didn't get to try them. However, I did note that they will not customize to medium rare, which is also disappointing. Lastly, a member of our party ordered a basket of fries for $6 and honestly it wasn't much more than the standard add-on quantity of fries. Not worth at all. Food: 2/5 (chicken fingers, fries) Service: 2/5 (speed of service, lack of basic table utensils and napkins) Value: 2/5 (standard quantities for the price, pricier draft beer than some bars, bad value on appetizer fries)

    Food looking good.

Now, I am going to take you on a journey just like the books Belle read so strap in. We had a 5:45 PM reservation, and even arrived a few minutes early. The hostess/employee (I don't want to assume positions) took me upstairs for a table right by the window, which will be an awesome view when the construction finishes. It was also a beautiful sight of that part of the city as-is. When I was seated, I was one of a few tables seated. It was not full or even busy at that time. Also, as we were seated, we were given waters. My friend joined me about 5-7 minutes after the reservation time. We then ordered our drinks at about 6:00/6:05 PM. From there, we waited and did not meet our waiter, who will be referred to as sweet baby angel Max from here on out, until about 6:20 PM. We ordered an appetizer and two entrees at around this time. Our orders had some modifications but nothing major. By this time, many more tables were seated upstairs and others seemingly received their alcoholic drinks and even appetizers by the time we received only our drinks around 6:30-6:40. Our drinks were big, too, which is great, but that also meant we had to drink them a little more quickly due to the time constraints with the show. We were enjoying ourselves but noticed multiple more tables receiving not only their drinks and apps but also their entrees. Once 6:55 came, we had to tell sweet baby angel Max about our predicament. I will be honest and say we suggested for our drinks to be comped at least - not only for the wait and lack of courtesy with everyone else receiving their items before us despite our arrival and reservation time, but for the fact that we would have maybe 15 minutes to eat, finish our drinks, pay, take our food back to our cars, and make curtain time. What sweet baby angel Max did next flabbered our gasts -- he said not only will our drinks be comped but our whole meal will be comped. He also helped pack our food and kept it in the back so we didn't have to worry about going back to our cars. We made sure to tip him with all we had! We are so glad we did because when we returned after the show, he had the kitchen remake the food and kept it warm for us. When you go to The Eagle, ask for sweet baby angel Max and you will not be disappointed with him, the service, or the food. Because even when they may mess up? The Eagle gets it right with their classy attitude and positive treatment of their customers. You definitely have multiple return customers just from this encounter. Thank you!!!

Both of those dishes were so-so, and I wouldn't get them again! They have a little bakery/cafe on site where you can order pastries. They are also known for their vinegar pie, so of course, I had to try it! It was definitely a different flavor, and I am glad that I tried it. It tasted like a less sweet version of a pecan pie. The vinegar really helped to cut the sweetness. This restaurant was accommodating and the service was great. Their food was good but the company was even better. I will definitely be back!

LOVED our dinner at this place…read more We came here for dinner while visiting Pittsburgh. The first thing that struck me was the interior decor. Very industrial and moody with an open kitchen/preparation area that adds some intrigue. I do like to see the happenings of what's going on as someone with zero attention span. Service was excellent. George was fantastic. He kept a close eye on us without being overbearing. He anticipated what we might need so we didn't spend one second waiting to order anything. The menu is not endless or overwhelming which, presumably, allows them to focus on the items that are listed. I have decision panic so it was kinda nice to have less things to choose from. They asked if there were any allergies or dietary restrictions so I mentioned my vegetarianism. George went through the menu and pointed out the vegetarian options including what seems like it is vegetarian but isn't. They had TWO vegetarian entree options and fortunately the non-mushroom one was something I probably would have ordered anyway: pesto with walnuts, arugula, and a very generous amount of grated cheese. To start, I ordered the Brussels sprouts whichc I was warned had fish sauce. This was fine but nothing that blew me away. GF, on the other hand, loved this. GF ordered the wedge which was brought to our attention as vegetarian with the bacon on the side, which was her request. We ended up sharing both, a large part of that was because hers came out first and I couldn't wait but I'm so glad because the wege was FANTASTIC. The dressing? holy fuck pure ecastasy. The wedge was more like a filet shape which was much easier to eat. Who decided on the wedge shape anyway? The lettuce was so fresh and crisp and went wonderfully with that orgasmic dressing and breadcrumbs. Back to my pasta. Also delectable. Noodles were al dente. The sauce was creamy and packed that pesto umami flavor. The walnuts were a really nice contrast in texture. Everything about it absolutely fucking slapped. GF ordered the mushroom entree which came served on a bed of barley which, don't mind if I do, had a few forkfuls to "sample" for "my review". Again, so fucking good. Because it was my birthday, George provided a dessert (yuzu maybe?) that was served inside a meringue-esque igloo, creamy perfect balance of sweet and tart custard with some berry business underneath. Wonderful. I almost forgot their spectacular cocktails! Holy shit, literally they have a CORN CHIP cocktail that I could not pass up. It comes with two massive cornchips on top of a flavored foam. When you bring the glass up to sip, the cornchips are right in front of your nose and their aroma sets the stage for the drink which was STRONG. It wasn't as corn chip forward as I expected but I understand that flavor is probaly hard to create. For my second drink, I ordered the blue one which was refreshing, light, and really good. GF ordered a spritz which was gorgeous "it was good". For second round, I picked out some uranium thing that was very cucumbery, GF says, "it was good". I just read it outloud to her. "it's true!" Fantastic meal at a great place.
