Very friendly bartender I had when I ordered takeout and picked it up. The Shepherds Pie I had was good and hearty. The crab quesadilla we tried was a very good appetizer. The only thing I did not enjoy were the tater tots. They tasted like they were fried in old grease. Nice menu and service overall.

This place is a true gem!! We were in town for the football game and stumbled into here! One of the best decisions of the trip! From the moment we entered we felt like regulars even though we were four states away from home! The staff was so friendly and the other customers were as well! The owner cooked our food that was out of this world!! The best Brussel sprouts in the world, I'm still craving them!! The steak was cooked too perfection and was so thick yet tender and melted in your mouth. The thing that really stuck out was after we paid our bill the owner chased us outside to thank us for coming in and told us good bye. The guy knew we would probably never be back but treated us like family despite that. Next time we come to the "Burgh we will stop in here for sure!! Stop in and try this little honey hole

Remarkably great pub food and friendly, welcoming service. I went for the live music, but was impressed how delicious the food was. The steak salad was one of the best I've tasted. The beer list could use some improvement, but I enjoyed a Bell's Two Hearted in a bottle.

If you're driving too fast on Mount Royal Blvd. you might miss this cool little place. Benze's Blue Goose Saloon is a little bit of everything and has something for everyone. It is an unassuming neighborhood bar with lots of locals and Keno. It's a restaurant with dry aged steaks that are out of this world. It's a sports bar with TVs tuned to national and local sports. Last night the small live music area featured the 2023 Western PA Blues Challenge winner, "Big" Bay Allen (Outstanding - check him out!) The bar has standard staple beers and cocktails. The welcoming bartenders are attentive and friendly. The creative and very tasty food specials change daily. The chicken tenders are marinated and hand-breaded. Highly recommend! Slow down and stop by the Blue Goose Saloon. The owner, Benze, is there pretty much every day after 3 - maybe in the kitchen, maybe behind the bar - but always willing to chat. Tell him Todd and Alisa say "hello!"

What a hidden gem! This place is a dive bar on the outside but Gastropub on the inside (at least as farbas their food is concerned). I am normally a very particular about my Burgers but this place is a bang-up job! I had the Swiss alp Burger and it was one of the best burgers I've had in a long time. I can't wait to come back soon for another. Tuesday is Grey Goose tiki special day. My friend and I tried every cocktail on the list and they were all spectacular! Definitely try the chocolate tini after your amazing dinner.

Yeah, I already cut into my burger without the bun..it was so juicy but still well done..perfect

The food and staff here are great. Just moved to the area and can't wait for this to be our regular. I love the no bun burger, yes I cut into it before I took the photo. The burgers are cooked perfectly but so juice.

Ok, so maybe I didn't have the greatest first experience here. Since this review, I've been back a couple of times. I must say, they have not disappointed me since. The Mushroom Swiss burger has been my go to here at the Blue Goose Saloon. It's HUGE, pacts a punch and is no nonsense. The drinks are great and Dave does a great job at bartending and making sure customers are having a great time and are taken care of ! They have Karaoke every other Saturday that's a hit ! Come check out the Saloon!

This place focuses solely on takeout or delivery - there is no actual dine-in area. The food is made by a person and assembled by a robot for precise portions and presentation. Wild - blew my mind! You can order online through their website for takeout or delivery OR go in-person to order at their kiosk. And this is just one of the 20+ ghost kitchens located in The Mill. I didn't see a single person when I was here. Just put my order in at the kiosk (very user-friendly BTW) and waited about 10 mins to get the text that my order was ready for pick up. Click the link in the text and the locker pops open with your food neatly bagged and ready to go. The food itself was amazing. I ordered the chili crunch bowl which was large enough for 2 - I took the leftovers for lunch the next day and it was still delicious. Super fresh, no soggy anything. The only thing I wasn't a fan of was the seasoning on the smoked romesco broccoli and carrots - too much cumin for my liking. Other than that, I definitely plan to come back. Such a quick and healthy meal that's super convenient for busy days and nights.

The first thing that hits you, literally, is the strong smell of air freshener when you walk in. It was so overpowering that I almost had to leave. We gradually got used to it but it is not pleasant. The second thing that we noticed was how untrained and stretched thin our waitress was. There was a bartender and our waitress and one cook working that night. When we asked what beers were on tap and if they had any IPAs, she wasn't sure what beers they served or what an IPA was, really. I have to say she was as pleasant as pie but dressed in a sparkly half shirt with bare midriff and tight pants with high heels, the outfit was just sort of odd for a waitress. I had to go to the bar to order another beer because she was just too busy to even notice. The California burger I ordered was cooked to the perfect medium temp and the fries were fresh and nicely salted. We could see the cook using a bowl to gently toss them in salt when they came out of the fryer. He was hustling and got the food out fairly fast considering it was just him. The avocado on the burger was fresh and perfectly ripe too. I hope the chef is paid well because he deserves every penny. Times are tough for small business owners these days. I get that. The food was good and our server was very nice. She just needs trained on the menu and the drinks/beers. And they need to get rid of that overpowering air freshener and fix the root cause of whatever smell they are trying to mask. There is real potential here with some minor tweaks.

The food was sooooo good, all the flavours perfectly individual and shining through of each item. The tart wasnt too moist or dry, the latte had a lovely light espresso with the aftertaste of the yummy cookie crisp milk, and the toast was a delicious mix of salty and sweet. I was sooo full by the end of it.
