A nice spot on carson street! Went with some friends and got a variety of food! Some I didn't get pictures on but let's just say we joined the clean plate club during this trip! The only thing was I didn't love the Philly cheesesteak they had. I'm only saying that as a girl from Philadelphia but I really didn't like it. Everything else is great! My favorite was the wings! The inside is really nice! Lots of artwork and things to look at! Our waitress was great! She also had great music taste!

This was a cute place! The vibe goes very well with its name - street art and street food. Our server was very friendly, but there was only one taking walk in and dine in orders. I was surprised by the variety of portion sizing. The chicken sandwich is huge, the burger was normal, and the tacos were small. It was weird as they were all considered entrees, I believe. The food was pretty good. The fries were the best!

Love the variety of foods and drink on the menu! I want to come back and try everything! Great tunes playing and ambiance. My only beef is that the Japchae has the "wrong" noodles. The menu says glass noodles, and the noodles you get are closer to chow fun noodles. It still eats, but i was really wanting what i normally envision.

(Last visited 5/6/2021.) Working in Pittsburgh for the week and I met up with a friend who was in town for a good meal as well as some drinks. I asked my mans what he had a taste for and he mentioned a Philly cheesesteak. Odd request for Pittsburgh, but there's never a bad place to have a taste for one of those so I did some Yelp'ing. I found this place... Here's how it went! Atmosphere/Appearance: Set right on busy and infamous Carson street is this gem. There's some sort of parking around back, but I couldn't tell if it was for one specific restaurant, public parking or what so I advise parking right on the street if possible. This place isn't very big, but it's not exactly a hole-in-the-wall either. It's medium-sized, you know, Goldilocks status. Lol. This place reminded me of a food truck, but indoors in a temperature-controlled atmosphere with comfortable, soft chairs and great music! Street food for days! The graffiti décor is a nice touch and really adds some color to the room. Service: Sara took excellent care of us. If I'm not mistaken, she was running the entire restaurant and was the bartender. She was also DJ'ing! Lol. I think it was just her playlist that was playing, but she had great taste! Food: I started off with the Dakgangjeong, a mouthfull indeed, but essentially it's Korean popcorn chicken with a fried rice cake, scallions all tossed in Korean BBQ sauce. This was deliciously salty, saucy, spicy, hot, cooked well and satisfying. Very good. To follow this up I tried out their Confit Chicken Wings. You get 8 in an order and these were delicious. Any wings involving confit are just different and very good. They're like, extra crispy, but light... somehow. It's hard to explain. You definitely need to try these for yourself! My friend had the Philly Cheesesteak which looked very good and came with seasoned fries, but as I looked around the menu some more... the kitchen's range is just so vast! Lol. All in one spot you could get food from around the freaking world! Tacos, wings, a Philly cheesesteak, the Korean dish I mentioned earlier, Moroccan lamb, BONE MARROW. Like, WHO ARE THESE GUYS?! Forget a food truck, this place is like the ENTIRE BLOCK OF FOOD TRUCKS all in one spot. Excellent. Value: Pretty good in my opinion. At the time I paid $10.00 for the Dakgangjeong. It's decently filling, but on the smaller side, though the quality and flavors are certainly there to justify the price. The wings speak for themselves. $16.00 for 8 wings, but again, the quality is there. I wouldn't go out of my way to come here for wings (Big Shot Bob's and their 100 flavors is right up the street), but they were very good for being so different. My friend's sandwich was only $13.00 and it came with fries. In conclusion this place was very chill and I loved the atmosphere. I'd be interested in coming back here at night during the weekend for what I'm sure will be a club-like atmosphere! Great food, not too crowded Friday night at 5 PM. I like the concept of street foods from around the world. The Korean popcorn chicken was my favorite!

Stopped in with a friend on a Friday evening and so glad we did. We sat at the bar and chose small plates to share. The Seitan Vampiro Tacos were really good-- there were three on the plate even though only two are in this photo. The Confit Chicken Wings were delicious too. Our bar tender, Sara, was super and I really enjoyed the cocktail. Will definitely be back!

Tenders are awesome and huge amount of fries!! Friendly nice atmosphere but the music wasn't my taste but I could deal with it

LOVE this hidden gem on Carson St. Place has such a unique vibe inside. The decor, staff, and food were all on point! We will definitely be going back to try more of their menu. We tried the lamb meatballs and the Mac N Cheese! A++

The bar serves cocktails, wines, beers, and mocktails. For dinner and late-night bites, the restaurant focuses mostly on small plates and shareables, including charcuterie, chicken wings, pizzetta, steak, and salmon. They also have a Sunday brunch that serves lox bagel, shrimp and grits, French toast, mimosa, bloody Mary, etcetera. My husband and I ate one lunch here. The best aspect of The Finch was its beautiful views of downtown Pittsburgh's skyscrapers, Monongahela River, and subway trains. The foods and drink were a mixture of quality, and my husband called them "garbage" (eek!). Here are my ratings for them. Berry Mint Spritz - 4 stars - This mocktail (I could have ordered it with alcohol to turn it into a cocktail) contained strawberries, mint, lemon, syrup, and soda water. All of the flavor had settled on the bottom of the glass, so I could have used a straw to mix the drink, but I did enjoy the flavors. Summer Crab Cakes - 2 stars - I received two crab cakes, and they were some of the worst crab cakes that I have ever received anywhere. They contained too much breading and too little meat. I did not even like the flavor of the cherry tomatoes on the side. I usually love crab cakes, but with these ones, I could take only a couple of bites, and then I had the waitress throw away the rest. Hawaiian Pizzetta - 4 stars - This small pizza consisted of four slices that had cheese but no gooey cheese-pull. Other toppings were BBQ sauce drizzle, pineapple, ham, and red pepper. I thought that it tasted good. Ember Steak Skewers - 4 stars - My husband said that the steak was not the highest quality. At least the chunks of steak, peppers, onions, and mushroom (we counted one piece of mushroom!) were marinated and seasoned nicely. The total cost for this one mocktail, three foods, and one soda was $79 *plus* a 3% credit-card surcharge, tax, and a minimum tip of 18%. We asked the waitress for a receipt, but she did not bring us one, so we walked up to her to ask for it again, and we did receive it.

The atmosphere alone is worth a visit. The drinks are definitely crafted with care and have a lot of complexity, but with only two bartenders working, it took quite a while to get ours. Not the place to go if you want quick service or are grabbing a drink before another event. My biggest downside is the price point--most cocktails are around $17. They're good, but at that price I can really only justify having one. Note: They do not have food, just snacks like peanuts.
