Hot chicken was good and crunchy and the fries with fried garlic were delicious

We got there for Happy Hour and all draft were 1/2 off. Good selection of draft beers. The redesigned layout is very conducive for a sports bar. At 5:30 it was packed when we left there were people waiting. We got the provolone sticks and demolished them. My wife got the shrimp tacos and I got the fried Chx sandwich both are recommended. Clark's has definitely upped its game. Going back? Yes we will.

I was excited to try brunch with a group as I have driven by this location many times. We were promptly seated and got an explanation of the menu options. I decided to try the avocado toast and a chocolate chip pancake. I enjoyed both equally. I heard that others enjoyed their breakfast, too.

Prime rib (we already dove in cause we were hungry) .

Prime rib over Christmas was very good. My only "complaint" is it could've been a bit hotter. They were pleasant when I asked for it to be reheated, which meant putting on the grill as they "have no microwave" (yay!). Mashed potatoes were very well flavored and hot. I send mashed back to be heated 4/5 times when we eat out, but these were perfect. Swapped asparagus for side salad, which was generous and better than the avg side salad. The food is consistently very good as we have been here several times. Service is decent. Ambiance is laid back. The bar has plenty of seating, and a back room for quieter dining.

A wide variety of items on the menu and it's usually pretty good. Service at the bar is always good, and they have a good variety of beers on tap. I had the Blackened Chix Caesar wrap and it was delicious. Great array of TVs in the bar area too

Fried cauliflower, very tasty & loved the texture

Clark's is a restaurant that caters to the neighborhood. It's that local spot with plenty of tvs, sports-themed promotions, good food, drink & vibes. But it's also so much more interesting than I expected. Keep reading to hear why. The restaurant is split into two sides, a dining space and a bar. The spaces are nicely designed creating a great atmosphere. I love the kitschy vintage decor pieces and the beautiful wine wall display. The bar area features many tvs for sports, but it wasn't too loud or rowdy. The menu features classic American food everything from flatbreads & tacos, to pasta, and even some nice seafood dishes like a salmon salad. The drink menu is huge, with plenty of seasonal cocktails, and a surprisingly nice wine an liquor selection. Everything we ordered was delicious! I'm obsessed with the french fries with herbs & sea salt. I'd also recommend the cauliflower appetizer. It's fried cauliflower topped with a sweet & spicy sauce with delicious Asian inspired flavors. With all this indulgent deliciousness, I'm thankful that kitchen was able to wrap my burger in lettuce. The restaurant was almost completely full when we visited. The staff was really friendly and service was attentive. Our appetizer and main meal came out quickly and as ordered. I'm so happy that we have a spot like this in the neighborhood! I look forward to visiting often.

Clark's Restaurant is a casual restaurant that opened not long ago. Its menu lists appetizers such as calamari and wings and entrees such as burgers, flatbreads, and mahi fish. Prices are average. On a Friday late afternoon/early evening, my husband and I ate dinner here. A seating host immediately greeted us and walked us to a booth. A bar area was also available. My bench was a little dirty from a previous customer's food. Soon the waitress introduced herself and took our order for drinks and foods. Throughout the service, the waitress spoke very nicely to us, and she checked in with us multiple times. Here are my reviews for the individual foods: French onion soup - 3 stars - This soup tasted very mild compared to other restaurant's soups. My husband did not want to eat it, so I ate it. Artichoke dip - 3 stars - This artichoke dip was accompanied by pita and tortilla chips. It tasted fine. Shrimp tacos - 3 stars - These flour tortilla tacos contained marinated shrimp, pineapple and poblano salsa, and chipotle aioli. The sauce tasted a little too strong. On the side were homemade potato chips. Chicken parmesan sandwich - 3 stars - My husband described this sandwich as "OK" and "bland," and he said that it "did not taste like anything" and was "a little on the soggy side." On the side were French fries that were perfectly crispy and seasoned.

Food was pretty good and prices were fair. Service at a table in the bar area was good. TV in the bar is so huge you can see the pixels. I got a sun tan in the hour I watched football LOL!

Fantastic new addition to the neighborhood! Being that Clark's is located in the Target parking lot, I was unsure what to expect. But from the moment we walked in the door, we were impressed by the comfortable local bar feel. We had the spinach and artichoke dip to start, which was one of the best I've had. My wife had the French burger and I had the Steak Sandwich. Both were incredible. Despite the bar feel, it was still accommodating for our toddler, who ordered the quesadilla but didn't eat much despite friendly encouragement from the staff. The service was great - so friendly and on top of their game. We will definitely be back!

Service was attentive as always in the bar area. Drinks were loaded again. It was a very busy Sunday afternoon, and they seemed a bit short staffed. Calamari appetizer therefore, unfortunately, was cool by the time it reached our table. Sad. Still had good flavor but I'm all about piping hot food. My BLT was amazing though. Avocado was nice and fresh not rancid at all (something to turn after sitting around for awhile). And the carne asada tacos were good. We asked for the fries without the rosemary this time and really enjoyed them. The background music was varied and the TVs were at a nice volume with several Sports channels on. Will try this place again mostly because the service was so good!

Our lunch at Clark's today was interesting and enjoyable. The place was full of large tables of loud old ladies exchanging gifts. We were greeted promptly by our server who efficiently delivered our Deluxe BLTs with shoestring fries and fruit salad. The food was very good, probably better than the grilled cheese with chips that we actually ordered. The menu is pretty broad, with several appetizers, numerous sandwiches, soups and salads, and a handful of entrees. I'd call it upscale bar food, if there is such a thing. The wine list was pretty attractive, although we didn't make a selection. The decor was modern barroom, nothing especially notable. Prices matched the menu and decor. We'll likely return, maybe even for dinner, but there's nothing compelling a quick visit.

My husband and I have eaten here twice--once for lunch last year and once for dinner this year. Both times, we enjoyed the employees' service and the foods. Here are my ratings for what we ate: Passionfruit-Paloma Mocktail - 4 stars - sour. Spring Sangria - 4.5 stars - slightly fruity. Jumbo Pretzel - 5 stars - huge size with beer cheese and mustard sauce. French Onion Soup - 5 stars - This soup had a rich broth, onions, and cheese. Ybor Cuban sandwich - 4.5 stars - nicely crunchy toast with tasty pork, ham, and Swiss cheese and a side of crispy onion rings. Salmon - 5 stars - I ordered this entree both times. The salmon was perfectly cooked and came with flavorful farro grains, cherry tomatoes, and asparagus. Filet Mignon - 5 stars - This 8-ounce steak was cooked mid-rare as my husband prefers. It came with whipped potatoes and his choice of au poivre style (black pepper crusted with bourbon cream).

Excellent Food in a Family-Owned Spot, But Transparency, Noise, and a Few Service Touches Need…read morePolishing (4/5 Overall)** I visited Wexford Public (12087 Perry Hwy, Wexford, PA) recently for dinner with my family, drawn by its reputation as a locally owned, chef-driven American restaurant in the heart of Wexford. Owned by longtime locals John and Melanie Dober, it positions itself as a warm, community-focused spot blending upscale comfort food with a welcoming vibe--think handcrafted sandwiches, premium Black Angus steaks, fresh seafood, flatbreads, and daily specials, all with thoughtful wine and bourbon selections. We were excited for what promised to be a polished neighborhood gem, and in many ways, it delivered. The food was genuinely great and the clear highlight. Our dishes were flavorful, well-executed, and creative without being fussy--fresh ingredients shone through, portions were generous, and everything arrived hot and beautifully plated. It's easy to see why so many reviewers rave about the crab cakes, steaks, and chef specials; the kitchen clearly knows what it's doing. This is elevated American fare that feels special yet approachable, and we'd happily return just for the meals. That said, a few aspects fell short and left us feeling the overall experience wasn't quite as seamless as the food deserved. First and foremost, the billing transparency issue was disappointing. They add a 3% bank/credit card processing fee to the check (which adds up quickly on a family dinner), but this isn't disclosed on the menu, at the table, or in any obvious way during the ordering process. There's only a small sign posted outside the restaurant. We only noticed it when the bill arrived, and it felt like an afterthought rather than a clear policy. In an era where many restaurants are upfront about surcharges (or absorb them), this lack of disclosure came across as sneaky and detracted from the otherwise positive value perception. The atmosphere was another mixed bag. The space itself is attractive--soft lighting, comfortable seating, and that friendly "upscale brew pub" energy the owners aim for. However, it was noticeably noisy during our evening visit. Conversations required raised voices, especially as the dining room filled up, which made it hard to relax and enjoy the meal fully. OpenTable rates the noise as "moderate," but on our night it tipped louder than that, possibly due to the layout or lack of sufficient sound absorption. A bit more attention to acoustics could make a big difference. Service was mostly attentive and efficient, but the management interaction stood out in a negative way. When we politely mentioned the surprise fee at the end of the meal, the response was an apology that felt scripted and insincere--like it had been delivered many times before without real follow-through or ownership. It didn't leave us feeling heard or valued as guests. On a brighter note, the owners John and Melanie genuinely come across as lovely people. The restaurant has that personal, homegrown touch you can sense even when they're not physically present, and locals speak highly of them. They were absent during our nighttime visit, though, which is understandable for owners juggling a busy operation--but their warmth is missed when the front-of-house team is handling everything solo. In summary, Wexford Public excels where it matters most: the food is consistently excellent and worth the trip on its own. The family-owned charm and diverse menu make it a strong neighborhood choice for special occasions, casual dinners, or even happy hour in the cocktail bar. However, clearer communication about the credit card fee (ideally on the menu or bill upfront), better noise management, and more authentic handling of guest concerns would elevate it from very good to outstanding. We'll likely go back for the cuisine, but with tempered expectations on the finer details. If you're in the Wexford area and prioritize great American plates, it's still a solid recommendation--just check the small print before you pay.

Apricot bourbon salmon - 4 stars - The salmon was cooked nicely and was juicy and flavorful. For sides, the mixed vegetables had a bit too much oil, and the brussels sprouts could use more flavor. Chicken cordon bleu sandwich - 4 stars - My husband said that the chicken was slightly overfried and hard, but the flavors from the arugula, onions, prosciutto, cheese, and dijonaise were good. He liked the side of crispy fries. The total price was $54 plus tax and tip.

We really liked the flavor of the pretzels and the honey-mustard dip. We thought that the cheese dip was OK. Pulled-pork nachos - 5 stars - This appetizer of nachos was huge! Many tortilla chips were topped with gooey cheese, pulled pork, jalapeños, sour cream, and pico de gallo. Fried deviled eggs - 4 stars - The egg white was breaded and fried. It contained a yolk filling and was topped with a spicy jalapeño. We prefer traditional deviled eggs, but these ones tasted good. Mix-and-match soft tacos - 4.5 stars - The pulled-pork taco contained pulled pork and vegetable toppings that were very flavorful. For the brisket taco, I enjoyed the flavor of the brisket and toppings, but the juices made the tortilla soggy and caused it to fall apart. Shrimp tacos - 4.5 stars - These were on sale on a Thursday. The shrimp were breaded, and the toppings of napa slaw, mango salsa, and chipotle aioli tasted very good. Meat entrees - 4.5 stars - My husband liked the smoked chicken the most (5 stars), and he described it as being "delicious." We also ate ribs (4.5 stars), kielbasa (4 stars), brisket (5 stars), salmon (4 stars, needs more seasoning), and pulled pork (4.5 stars). Macaroni and cheese - 5 stars - My husband said that this macaroni was the cheesiest thing that he has ever eaten. He described it as "delicious." I ate some of the macaroni, and I agree that it was extremely cheesy. French fries - 5 stars - These fries were perfectly crispy and salty. Grilled vegetables - 4.5 stars - I wanted to make my meals more nutritious, so I chose a side of grilled vegetables, which are seasonal and included peppers, corn, squash, and zucchini. This mix of veggies had a very good flavor. Side salad - 4 stars - This salad contained a lettuce mix, some tomatoes, some pickled onions, and my choice of dressing. It was fresh but was slightly plain. Pork 'n beans - 3 stars - My husband ordered this side. He ate only a small amount of the beans and sauce, and he thought that they tasted just OK. For drinks, we had iced tea, diet Pepsi, and water. The waitresses brought refills.
