The menu lists breakfast foods (e.g., pancakes, toasts, and sandwiches) and lunch foods (e.g., salads, sandwiches, and bowls). Baked goods, coffees, teas, and refreshers are also available. Customers may dine in, get takeout, order catering for outside events, or rent the greenhouse for special events. My husband and I ate one breakfast here. We placed our order at a counter, paid upfront, and then were given our drink and a number to take to a table of our choosing. The weather on that day was very rainy, so we sat inside the greenhouse rather than outside, and the employees carried our foods over in containers with lids. Here are my ratings for what we ate: Peach Berry Stuffed French Toast - 4.5 stars - This was a weekend special. Challah French toast was stuffed with lemon mascarpone, peaches, and mixed-berry compote. It had a large serving size and a nice mixture of sweet and sour flavors. Bloom Salad - 4.5 stars - This salad contained mixed greens, sliced apple, dried cherries, candied pecans, gorgonzola, red onion, and maple balsamic dressing. Blue cheese is not my favorite, but I enjoyed the freshness and flavors of the other ingredients. Breakfast Egg Sandwich Croissant - 4.5 stars - This sandwich consisted of a croissant filled with two eggs, cheese, and three strips of crispy bacon. On the side was a basic salad with dressing. My husband did not like how the salad dressing got on his sandwich. Chai Latte - 4.5 stars - This Rishi Masala chai concentrate with steamed milk tasted very good. The total price for these three foods and one drink was $49 plus a tip. Afterward, we explored the market and gardening center. Available for purchase were jewelry, flower pots, many types of indoor and outdoor plants, and much more. Two employees kindly offered me assistance with the plants. I loved seeing the exterior of a hobbit house, although it was too short for me to go inside. Please note that this business will hold a Tolkien-inspired Hobbit Fest on September 12, 2026. The festival will include live folk music, local artisan vendors, themed cafe foods, alcohol vendors, activities such as a costume contest, etcetera.

I had the Bloom toast, avocado toast topped with goat cheese, honey, an over easy egg and some dressed arugula. Very nice flavor combo. The portion is relatively small. Coffee is good too, the baristas and waitresses were very sweet and offered all the direction and condiments we asked for. Love the vibe and will come back!

Every weekend we try to hit up a new local coffee shop, and on this morning we happened to be fishing at Glade Run when I found Freya Jane's nearby. This bakery is located in what appears to be a small development of townhomes with a handful of storefronts. The inside has a large ordering area with plenty of baked goods displayed behind glass, along with an equally spacious seating area. They also had a number of card games available, and my wife and I enjoyed playing one with our 4.5-year-old twins. On this morning I decided to go with an iced brown sugar cinnamon latte while my wife chose an iced pistachio latte. My daughter picked out a sprinkle sugar cookie, my son chose a blueberry Pop-Tart, and my wife and I split a crème brûlée-filled croissant. I'll start with the baked goods, which were excellent. The croissant was buttery and flaky, and you could clearly see the lamination throughout it. The filling reminded me of a cream puff with its rich, creamy texture and flavor. To complete the crème brûlée theme, it had large pieces of caramelized sugar on top that added a satisfying crunch and really made the pastry live up to its name. My son's blueberry Pop-Tart also had a great flavor with plenty of blueberry filling inside, and my daughter loved her sprinkle sugar cookie. As far as the baked goods were concerned, they were easily five stars. The coffee was good, although it didn't quite reach the same level as the pastries. My latte had a nice balance between the brown sugar and cinnamon syrup and the espresso. Thankfully the coffee wasn't overpowered by the flavoring, and while it was certainly enjoyable, it wasn't quite as memorable as the baked goods. My wife also enjoyed her latte, especially the pistachio flavor. The bottom line for me is that I would head back here again in the future. My family loved the baked goods, and we all thought the coffee was good as well.

I've been seeing a bunch of posts on FB and Instagram more recently for Coffee Au Lait. To brighten up this gloomy Pittsburgh day and get the kids out of the house, I decided to swing down on lunch. The space is shared with Nosh and Curd and OMG you guys...coffee + charcuterie/an abundance of tasty treats = a GREAT time! Might I add, the space is SUPER cute (I didn't snag any pics thanks to my rambunctious kids...someone send wine) but you can find some on their FB and insta! :) Upon walk in, I was greeted by a super friendly staff member of the shared space who asked if it was our fist time in and she so kindly gave me all the dets! TY! I'll definitely be stopping down again and bringing along other surrounding locals (minus the minis) so I can truly enjoy the total ambiance of this cute spot! See you soon Coffee Au Lait! xo

The inside consists a couple of display cases with chatcuterie in the refrigerated one and pastries in the other. Beyond that they have a wall full of stuff for sale. Seating wise, they have quite a bit of both indoor and outdoor and my wife and I opted for the indoor on this day. After looking at the menu both my wife and I decided to go with items on their specials menu and I went with a strawberry latte while my wife went with an iced s'mores one. We also decided to split a cheddar chive scone. Our barista wasn't the fastest person in the world and while we weren't in a hurry, it's worth mentioning as is the fact that the lady in the back of the shop was super nice, including to our twins. We started out with the scone and it was quite good. There was a nice cheddar flavor to it as well as bacon I believe and it had the crumbly consistency you would expect from a scone. After our coffees were ready we grabbed them and headed on our way. My strawberry latte ended up being pretty good as you could taste the strawberry favor and it paired well with the coffee. As I got to the bottom I bit into something harder in my coffee that reminded me of strawberry cereal and I wonder if that's how they got the flavor in it. My wife also enjoyed her s'mores coffee. The bottom line for me is that I would head back here again in the future. Both my wife and I thought that both our scone and coffee were good.

I usually get the shoyu tonkatsu with white garlic, but this trip I decided to try the seafood ramen. I'm a bit of a wimp when it comes to spice so I wouldn't order it again over the tonkatsu, but it was definitely tasty. Everything here is delicious without fail. I've tried the omurice in a previous trip, and even that was amazing. Their desert options are also great. The matcha pudding with red bean has good flavor without being overly sweet, and the Japanese cherry blossom jelly is the same way. I also love to get their purple sweet potato fried every now and then (although, the garlic chili edamame will always be the top choice). The takoyaki is delicious coming from someone who loves octopus, and so is any of their yakitori. If you look at the pictures they have on their website of the food, it's almost always a 1 to 1. You'll know exactly what you're ordering. Service is always thoughtful and quick. Even when the place is really busy there's usually not a crazy wait. There are also buttons at the table that let you call the servers over when you're ready to order and pay. Overall, it's really well done. The inside of the place is adorable. Any seat you're given feels special, and the interior makes the whole place feel comfortable. I have no problem giving this place 5 stars. I genuinely have no complaints here.
