This is a nice First Watch location that I've been to a lot and it's less busy than McCandless. You can still expect an hour's wait on weekends, so get on the wait list online on the weekends! As with other First Watch locations, the wait time on the initial screen is short AND wrong - keep going and eventually you'll see the real wait time! Sometimes you don't see the correct duration till you get on the wait list. The Elevated Egg Sandwich is always divine! Healthier options taste great. Food is normally pretty good. However, last time my friend got basted eggs that were really runny (barely cooked) that was not right. It's such a busy location that they often don't come and ask right away if there are any issues. So something for them to work on there. It's mostly indoor seating and they have a community table to grab if you're not on the wait list. A couple of seats outside but not really all that attractive in facing the parking lot. read more

We love going to First Watch. Anytime my family comes to see us from OH, we always meet up here because everyone loves it so much. The food is always good. I love trying all the different seasonal hashes they have. The Parmesan one on the menu is my fave. The special chipotle hash from a few months ago was sooooo good. I wish they'd put it on the menu. My cousin loves the chickachanga. My husband loves the traditional breakfast. My mom loves the omelet. The staff is always really nice. And their cold brew coffee is quite good as well, I drink it black & it's not bitter at all. I've been coming here since this location first opened. Ordered my usual Market veggie sandwich to eat at the restaurant and the chicken pesto bowl to go. Server came out to inform me they were out of zucchini and asked if I wanted them to "give me another item more" in its place. Told her I'd like more mushrooms. However, when I got the sandwich, there weren't any increase in mushrooms. Unfortunately the server never came back to check on me, so I ended up eating it because it was already lukewarm. Strike one. After paying the bill, noticed there was a 50 cent packaging charge added! No mention of it either. You have to be kidding me. Strike two. And to top it all off, the portion size of the pesto bowl is about half of what I'm used to getting. Strike three, and I'm out. First Watch was one of those places we tried to get a few times but sorta gave up seeing the lines and walking in once and finding the wait time for breakfast was 45 minutes... but by trying 'off-times' instead of 'popular-times' for breakfast or lunch - we found it worked out in our favor. The food is always fresh tasting and hot and best of all - delicious!! Served quickly too! Seating can be tricky (we were placed at a tiny table right beside the kitchen-not the most comfortable but we were seated within 10 minutes) however, the food is worth it. The reason for 4 stars is the constant confusion by the door... usually there is one person taking names and seating guests but on 2 out of 3 occasions- the same person that was seating folks was ringing people out. People waiting for take-out orders were mulling around; others not knowing where to go or wait. The base of the bowl was light, fluffy, and delicious. The fruits on top were very fresh and the granola was crunchy and tasty. The almond butter was good and the toast was thick, but soft. First time coming in this past week and had a good experience all things considered! There is a small seasonal menu and then a much larger regular menu to order from and as it was our first time, we sought our waitress's recommendations and she didn't steer us wrong! My wife order the Floridian French Toast that was topped with strawberries, kiwis and bananas, and I ordered the breakfast tacos. The tacos come with a warm black bean salsa. We shared both our meals and I really enjoyed the sweet and savory combo. The French toast was pretty standard, which wasn't a problem, but I just didn't think it was special. The tacos on the other hand hand nice flavor and I appreciated the fresh toppings but kind of just became too much of one flavor. I have been here on a few occasions now for brunch on the weekend. We have learned over time that we either add ourselves to the waitlist or we go to the restaurant, put our names in, then run a few errands until we receive a text saying our table is ready. As long as you know this ahead of time and plan accordingly, it is worth it! To begin, I have had a variety of their featured juices- usually I will get their special (the latest was Red Medicine), but the ones on the regular menu are delicious as well. On two occasions, I have ordered pancakes- banana granola and most recently carrot and pecan. They were HUGE so one was enough for me. They were served with a scoop of butter and maple syrup. I order a side of potatoes which were tender on the inside with a slight crunch on the outside. I end up ordering more ketchup because the small container they give you does not go very far. A little salt and pepper takes them to another level as well. The other meal I have ordered here was the Healthy Turkey Meal - an egg white omelet filled with vegetables and a side of toast with preserves. All of the ingredients were so fresh and the bread was delicious. In addition, I have always sampled my husbands meals (the two quinoa dishes, a hash, and broccoli cheddar soup) and none have disappointed. As long as you know about the wait, the only other thing to watch out for is pricing. It is not a cheap place to go and everything seems to have a slight upcharge- BUT honestly the food and beverages are really good and fresh and for an occasional outing, it is truly worth it!
