The sweetness of the caramelized onions, the little tang from the garlic aioli, crispiness of the ciabatta and savoriness of the portobello was 100000000/10. Really enjoyed the vibe and food, one of my fav brunch places on the Strip! The decor is really nice with a good energy, plus they do cocktails as well as classic brunch which is great. The coffee was fine, free refills but there were not enough servers to keep up so a little difficult. One of our favorites in the Strip District. They are under new management, so there have been changes, but the food remains excellent. They now have table service, and although I loved ordering at the counter in the past, this change is working out okay. There's usually a long line at some of the older traditional breakfast spots in the Strip, but I like the food better here. For one thing, they have more savory choices. Amazing breakfast + huge portions! This was my second time going to Cafe Raymond. (My first time was 3 years ago.) I went with a friend on a Friday morning around 10:30 am, and it was busy. There were only 2 front of house staff, both were serving and one was also the host. They handled the rush really well! We got seated right away because there were bar seats available; regular seating was a longer wait. I got the croissant breakfast sandwich with bacon and a side of home fries. The sandwich was huge and delicious! The home fries were also delicious; they were seasoned so well I didn't even need to dip them in ketchup! My friend got the French toast and loved it. This is a such go to lunch spot! On a recent work trip, my coworker bestie and I grabbed lunch from Cafe Raymond. It was my first time there, but it seems that they've renovated the space not too long ago. We opted for outdoor seating to do some people watching on the Strip (not sure if that's how the locals say it lol). Our server was amazing. Sometimes when sitting outside, I can feel forgotten, she did not make us feel this way at all. My friend was craving a good turkey sandwich and got a gorgeous and delicious one. I devoured a HUGE chicken caesar salad. Everything was so fresh and tasty. The portions are really big here. Although I wasn't in the mood for breakfast on that trip, I adored their breakfast menu. They recently-ish remodeled a bit so instead of ordering at the counter, you now check-in with a host to be seated and order with your server at your table. I went to cafe Raymond with a group that I am a member of. There were 6 of us and they seated us upstairs - no problem for us! The waitress assigned to our table seemed uninterested and annoyed the entire time. She never brought my sparkling water that I had asked for. She brought coffees for the group and gave someone a less than half full cup and said she'd be back when the new pot finished brewing. She never did. She also brought one cream per person. We asked for more and she seemed annoyed by the request. On top of that, the food was mediocre at best. My sandwich was cold (a sandwich I've had hot elsewhere) and the bread was soggy. My friend & I dined in this morning for breakfast. We both ordered Guy's Breakfast which was really good, a large portion too! It comes with eggs (your style), meat, potatoes and one of their almost famous Blueberry Ricotta pancakes. You order at the counter and then they bring you out your food. We both ordered waters which we discovered is self-serve (would have been nice if they told us to help ourselves). I would give it 4.5 stars due to that if I could but other than that it great. Just had breakfast at this place this morning with a friend and my husband. We were planning to shop on the Strip after, so this was a perfect location. There was no wait (hurrah). We were a bit taken aback when she plunked down our coffee and hot tea while announcing (at 9:45am) that her "shipment of milk isn't due in until 10:30am." Huh?? It's breakfast! I gave her back my hot tea and ordered a juice. We also had to ask her to wipe up the rather sizable spill from the coffee/tea plunkage. The menu is a bit limited - but they do have breakfast/brunch/lunch food served all day. Our food came out fairly quickly. I got the "Yuri's Breakfast" -- fried eggs that were supposed to be on a bed of sautéed spinach - but the veg was on the side. Fine. The spinach was cooked perfectly. The tomatoes were also on the side - and were raw and sliced thinly with feta sprinkled on top. Not what I expected, but it was ok. While the menu doesn't mention any available sides, I was able to get a side of potatoes. They were ok. Nothing special. My husband got the "Guy's Breakfast"- 2 scrambled eggs, bacon, potatoes, and a blueberry ricotta pancake (sans whipped cream -- eesh). My friend Drew from the extensive brisket burger menu....choosing "Lil Ray's Fat Burger," which looked quite good. The large burger was topped with cheddar, bacon, and a fried egg. They are best known for their ricotta blueberry pancakes, which I tried alongside their croissant breakfast sandwich. First, the pancakes. These were definitely quite good. Tons of real blueberries (whole little pieces) all through a fluffy pancake. And, they make their own syrup as well! I will say, I would have preferred a stronger ricotta flavor to cut some of the sweetness. But, they were still very good pancakes. The croissant sandwich came with egg and cheese, as well as a side of home fries. They cooked the eggs perfectly, and included just the right amount of cheese. Their default is a fried egg (you can see they got the yolk just right), but personally, I prefer scrambled eggs. You can ask for scrambled eggs for no charge, so next time I will do so. It was a super flavorful sandwich! Really nice and buttery croissant as well. The potatoes were also very good. Cooked well and seasoned to perfection. I'm surprised as to how much flavor this side had! They salted it quite a bit too. All in all, I really liked this spot. I had such a great experience at Cafe Raymond! Their menu is super gluten-free friendly--there were so many options I could safely enjoy with just a few simple substitutions. I ordered the Guy's Breakfast which normally comes with eggs, your choice of ham, bacon, or sausage, crispy potatoes, and a blueberry ricotta pancake. Since the pancakes aren't gluten free, I swapped in their gluten-free French toast instead--and it was amazing. The crispy potatoes are cooked on the same grill as gluten-containing items, but the staff let me know ahead of time and gave me the option to have them baked in the oven instead. It only took a few extra minutes, and the service was still super quick and friendly. Definitely a spot I'll be coming back to. Love finding places that are transparent, flexible, and seriously delicious. I have been to Cafe Raymond several times with no issues at all except the price. I returned Saturday for breakfast and was very disappointed. First, I asked for decaf coffee and was told they only have black coffee! I then ordered a veggie omelet and asked for cheese to be added. I was served a plain cheese omelet. When I asked, they said I would have had to specify what veggies I wanted. The menu clearly has a veggie omelet as an item with the veggies listed that were in it. I also asked if it came with potatoes and was then given 2 servings that I was charged for. All of this for $30! To add to the experience, when we entered, there was a sign that said to ask about our homemade soups..... we did and were told they don't have any soup! It will take a lot for me to go back.
