I stopped in for the first time this afternoon and was immediately greeted by amazing aromas and the incredibly kind owner. I ordered the turkey sandwich and it did not disappoint--the bread was fresh, the turkey was plentiful, and the toppings were spot on. I also grabbed a huge cinnamon roll, which was just as fantastic. I can't believe I've walked past this place every day and never stepped inside, but it's definitely going to be my new go‑to spot for a meal. Loved this spot, clearly the owner and her family cares a lot about this place and pours a lot of love and tastiness into all their options! The breakfast pizza was incredibly delicious, the focaccia base being airy and light, one of the best I've ever had! Unfortunately I went around midday and they already sold out of a lot of their other pastries, so try to get there earlier! Their sandwiches are also incredible, really can't go wrong with anything here! Unfortunately this was not a great experience for me and my family . I don't take this review lightly, as i am a huge supporter of local family owned businesses vs commercial chains. Seems like a small operation which is great because its fresh and scratch kitchen made to order. ( which is why i wanted to eat here). This business operate slightly different than a normal sit down eatery apparently you order at the counter and then you take your seat and wait for the order which is great. This has become very common place as of late the issue in this particular case is that one of the members of our party hadn't arrived yet so we secured some seating being that there was very limited seating inside and proceeded to wait for the additional person after communicating that to the worker that was present on site after cruising the menu the third person in our party had arrived. I'd already been standing at the counter for 12 to 15 minutes waiting for this person to get there unfortunately the timing also coincided with several additional groups of people walking in the front door and then beginning to lineup at the counter, so I have been standing to the side of the counter waiting for this other person to arrive so we could order so the third person in my party made a selection of what they wanted from the menu, and then I proceeded to stand in the same place, I've been standing since I had arrived unfortunately for me the people online were prioritized over me standing there, even though I was there long before any of them had arrived so after the third person was waited on instead of taking my order. me and the rest of my Party left establishment without ordering.. Unfortunately, this is all the experience I have to share as I did not eat at the establishment so I cannot evaluate the quality of food however, I can't tell you it smelted and looked fantastic. read more

I'm upset with myself that I've had it on my list to check out for 2-3 years and this was my first time going. Very cute and small eatery right across a parking lot (easy access and was free today). The owner was working the register and preparing the food. It's a fun, vibrant and cozy atmosphere inside. Great bakery and breakfast/lunch selection to go. Delicious food. Been here multiple times and each time I am reminded why I come back. Portion sizes are generous to say the least. Everything tastes freshly made, cause it is, right in front of you. As soon as we entered, the owner was very welcoming. The main menu is on the wall, but we were assured that more was available. The restaurant is both eat in and take out. We ate in the small dining area which was pleasant. My sandwich was delicious and my friends enjoyed quiche and wedding soup. When we departed we were already discussing our return. One of our favorite spots in Carnegie! We stopped by this morning and had excellent coffee and fresh homemade apple cider donuts. There is even a little outdoor seating on the sidewalk for a place to enjoy your food or you can take it to go. Unfortunately I don't have a picture of the donuts because they were too delicious! I finally got a chance to try Dagny's Eatery! I was in Carnegie, so I stopped in for lunch. The space is very warm and inviting. There is a cooler with pre-assembled salads and homemade sauces/dressings. It seems like the owner runs a one-woman shop, but you couldn't tell. She is so personable, helpful and cheerful. I ordered a sandwich but they were out of some of the ingredients, so the owner happily substituted some items. She also offered to toast it on the panini press (the original sandwich is served cold). My sandwich was sooo good. And she did not skimp on the turkey and veggies. I definitely will be coming back soon. I want to try out those cinnamon rolls I've been drooling over on IG. lol read more

We kind of stumbled upon this place going to grab coffee at Carneige Coffee Company and we could not believe more people weren't over at her business. The banana pudding is like nothing you have ever had before. Its was PHENOMENAL. Definitely some of the best banana pudding I have ever had. Dagny and her daughter were so funny and sweet. We visited in August on our way to drop our son off at college, and this was such a great find! I can't say enough good things about this place. The owner and her teenaged daughter were so nice. I stopped by initially because I won a Yelp contest on IG and the prize was a dozen cinnamon rolls for Dagny's. These things are ginormous. And delicious. I couldn't believe the size of them when they were handed to me. I also grabbed a sandwich for lunch while i was there and The Ray sammie didn't disappoint. It was very filling and delicious. Such a nice visit today to Dagny's for the first time. Super simple with no frills, just yummy ness! We tried the cinnamon rolls which were really sweet, gooey, and delicious. Sincerely so happy our usual brunch haunt was beyond packed today. It forced us to try something new in the area and landed us here. The cafe is a serious gem; the woman that runs the joint is beyond kind and clearly a big reason for the chill vibes you feel the second you walk in. Let me TELL you. Dagny's is probably my new favorite restaurant in the area. Dagny, the owner, is the sweetest woman and truly cares about her customers. Not only this, but she really knows how to bake and cook literally anything you could ever want. I think her baked goods are my absolute favorite. If I have a sweet tooth, I know I'm getting some cinnamon rolls and pecan stickies. I just picked up some cinnamon roll cheesecake that was INCREDIBLE also. You gotta try her breakfast sandwiches too. The bacon egg and cheese croissant is my personal favorite because the bacon has a nice garlicky crust that takes it to a whole new level.
