This week was my first time stopping in Dagny's Eatery. First of all, she is so sweet and very welcoming! Even though it was my first time there, Dagny made me feel like it was my 100th visit. She recommended her sandwich called "The Ray." I ended up taking it to-go. When I got home, I ate half of the sandwich (it's so big and filling!) and saved the other half for my husband. I thought it was absolutely delicious! When my husband got home from work, I told him there was a half of a sandwich for him. He started eating it and said "wow this is really good" ... he probably said this 5 times before finishing it. Throughout the week he kept asking where I got the sandwich from!! So needless to say, we will both be back tomorrow for this delicious sandwich! 10/10 experience and highly recommend this cute place! read more

I popped in here after having coffee next door recently because I had heard the cinnamon rolls were a must. I ordered one to go and also couldn't resist a lemon bar from the grab-and-go fridge. I'll never tell my mother (because she makes my all-time favorite cinnamon rolls) but I think Dagny's was the best cinnamon roll I've had in my life. Literally every bite was perfect and I can't name anything that would have made it better. The lemon bar was also incredible and Dagny was so nice to talk to while she got my order. I really enjoyed my first trip to Dagny's! We live close and have been wanting to stop in for a while now! I stopped in for the 4.12 Yelp deal and it was well worth it for the delicious sandwich! The Turkey was so fresh and so was everything else on the sandwich, the sauce was very good too. There's a variety of sandwiches to choose from, desserts and snacks. I also grabbed one of her cinnamon rolls and as I'm not usually a sweets person wow this was sooooooo good. Definitely not your topical cinnamon roll. It's a must try! Just what Carnegie needs! I got the Cold Turkey sandwich and it was so fresh and delicious, with a good heat level from pepperjack cheese and sriracha aioli. Really really great breakfast and lunch spot in Carnegie. A few weeks ago my power went out so I came here to grab some breakfast. I tried the quiche and a cinnamon roll. Dagny was nice enough to heat it up for me because I told her about my power situation and how I was probably going to eat this in the car :). I really enjoyed both of these breakfast items. Three of us stoped into Dagny's for brunch and ended up trying The Ray and The Cheese as well as a cinnamon roll. Everything we tried was so good! The breads that are used are really tasty and high quality, which in a sandwich is so important! The Ray which I had was an Italian, but it was awesome. It's now my go to when I'm craving a good Italian. I'm usually disappointed when ordering out for an Italian sub because most places tend to go cheap on the ingredients. There was also this pepperchini relish that was served on the side that was just awesome... we got a whole container to go. Lastly Dagny herself was so friendly (and generous) and her daughter was working hard, which I always love seeing in a mom and pop shop! We all agree we are coming back!! read more

Dagny's is SUCH a gem in Carnegie. The food is always incredible, generously (read HUGE) sandwiches that're always fresh and made to order. They always have fun desserts - the cinnamon rolls are amazing if you have the chance to grab them, do because she sells out every single time. It's a quick service little spot, there are a couple of seats inside and outside to eat at, we often take out from here too. The owner is really friendly, & obviously knows what she's doing, I've never had something from here I didn't like. Whenever I want to review Dagny's Eatery, I tell myself, don't forget to take a photo. Also, whenever I order from Dagny's Eatery, the aroma and presentation are phenomenal and I immediately dive into my treat. Whether it's savory or sweet, it has never ever disappointed. As I look down into my empty food box, I am sad it's all gone, but also very satisfied. Absolutely love this place! Dagny is a warm and kind hearted individual. As soon as I stepped in to the shop she started talking to me like a friend! I love how she's collecting clothing and boxed food items for families in need. You can leave a donation on a bin on the side of the store. I tried the breakfast sandwich.
