I was SO blown away by this place. I'm not sure why I didn't expect anything crazy but I was pleasantly surprised. We came early, around 5pm on a Friday, and we sat at the bar. There were 3 of us and we had plenty of room. I got the banana old fashioned which was delicious made with house made banana bourbon. I also got a filthyyyy martini which lived up to the name. The bread was yummy and the house salad was to die for. I got the carbonara pasta which was flavorful and silky.

Nice atmosphere with a few tables and bar on first floor and more dining on second floor. Service was good. Some nice wines on the wine list. We received some warm bread with a garlicky dip. The Tortellini Pesto Alfredo with Shrimp was very good. The pasta was cooked perfectly.

This place really surprised me! I wasn't expecting it to be so upscale being in Carnegie, but here we are. I met a few coworkers for dinner and we all really liked it. The service was great and the food was delicious. They had a nice fall menu for drinks so I went with the caramel apple sangria. It was so refreshing and tasty. For my entree I went with the meat ravioli and was not disappointed. You could tell that everything was freshly made. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be back.

I took the little ones here for a really nice dinner treat after camp one day. Most of the diners were on a date with significant others so we were the odd ones. The service was really speedy and efficient. And the food was quite delicious. The restaurant has a lot of crosses and Christian symbolism. If you're in the mood for a meal sparing no details, check it out.

So badly wanted to love DrBlaze, after years of passing by and following them on social media. Unfortunately, our girls night out wasn't as I had hoped it would've been. We really struggled with our server. She was very pleasant, but she brought out the wrong thing at least twice and charged one of our cards the wrong bill. My friend ordered the $42 espresso crusted pork chop and it came out so overdone that it was inedible. Once we notified the staff, they quickly prioritized getting her a different dish of her choosing. The good: the space is beautiful. They have plenty of space to host larger parties, they have both indoor and outdoor seating, and a quaint bar. The happy hour prices from 4-6 of 1/2 price wine glasses and draft beers is a good deal. We loved the chicken parm, the wedding soup, and the lemon blueberry cheesecake. The bruschetta, although beautifully plated, didn't seem like it had flavors that worked together. The risotto balls were amazingly cheesy, crisp on the outside, and covered in the flavorful house sauce. I'd like to say that we'd give them another chance in the future, but with as many restaurants are out there, we likely will not be back.

The prices are too high for below average food. The ambiance is nice but it doesn't justify the high prices. Service was good.

When I first contacted him he replied almost immediately and set up a time to talk with me about our preferences, dietary restrictions and overall food vibes. He sent me a menu within a day and welcomed feedback. Tonight we sat at the bar where we were able to see into the open kitchen and Chef Anthony walked us through every dish (both ours and those of other diners). Everything was delicious and with the exception of the cannoli shell, made from scratch, in house. Portions were huge for an almost 8 course meal and the pacing was great. The other staff were wonderful and beyond the flavorful food, the pricing is very reasonable. Do yourself a favor and make a reservation. He also recently lost his sous chef due to him being in a really unfortunate accident. So if anyone knows someone looking for work... he's hiring.

I'll post a photo of the menu, but here are some of my thoughts: Turkey - so delicious Mashed potatoes - perfection Stuffing - I loved it but the kids didn't. Honestly they probably would have preferred Stove Top though. Green beans - very tasty but not great as a leftover Cranberry chutney - ok, I love the canned stuff but this was truly a hit. Rolls and butter - literally such delicious butter! Apple pies - they were more like empanadas. I was expecting mini round pies. The crust was amazing but the apples were a bit tart. The pickup was easy and seamless. Everything was packed well. Thank you! We can't wait to come in to eat soon.

I first fell in love with @cucinavitalepgh back when they were in the South Side, so seeing them open this new space honestly made me so happy. The new location is beautiful, has SO much more room, and still somehow keeps that same feeling that made people love the original in the first place. Also can we talk about the fact every single dish came out literally steaming hot? Not lukewarm 10 minutes in the window hot...actual fresh out of the pan, too impatient to wait before taking a bite hot. I notice little things like that and it makes such a difference. You can tell there's care behind it. One of those spots that reminds you why classic Italian food will always hit.

Kudos to the chef for trying something different with these specialty vegan dishes! The restaurant is tucked away in Foster Plaza among office buildings and I would have never expected to find it there. They have good signage as you wind up the plaza so you know you're on the right track. The restaurant itself is very attractive, Clean, upscale look with white fairy lights. This is a white tablecloth place and would be appropriate for a special occasion as well as a nice any occasion meal. I ordered the full vegan restaurant week special which included a vegan meatball appetizer, pappardelle Bolognese made with red lentils and their freshly made pasta, and dessert which was two black bean brownies with frosting. The marinara on the meatballs was delicious and I would order the marinara here on anything. The meatballs were the size of tennis balls or larger. Great texture and I was only able to eat one if I wanted to eat the rest of my meal. The pasta dish was enormous and I could only eat half of that as well. I was really impressed with the texture and flavors of the lentil Bolognese. They also brought a cup of vegan vegetable soup which wasn't mentioned on the vegan week menu but was absolutely delicious. The brownies probably surprised me most. I couldn't believe these were made from black beans. I took home one of the two and with everything else I had packed up, had an entire repeat of the meal the next day. Very big portions especially if you get a Pasta. My mom ordered cheese ravioli with regular Bolognese sauce and the ravioli was delicious, although not enough for a full second meal like the regular pastas. I also want to mention that they had a couple of mocktails on their menu and I appreciated them being inclusive. I ordered a mocktail mule with ginger beer and raspberry purée which exceeded my expectations. The raspberry purée was really good. You will pay $30-$35 or so for a nice meal here, more if you start getting into some of the meat entrees. I thought that was a fair price for the quality. I will definitely be back.

We arrived at 5:30 and were quoted a 45-minute wait (possibly less). We stood outside for over an hour. During that time, we watched multiple parties who arrived after us get seated ahead of us--including a two-top seated immediately after we were told we were "next." When we questioned it, staff were defensive and claimed some guests "live nearby," put their names in earlier, and leave to wait for a text. That was never explained on the phone or upon arrival. From what we directly observed, the seating process did not appear first-come, first-served. It appeared selective. Transparency matters, and so does basic courtesy when guests ask legitimate questions. Ten minutes after we finally left--after waiting over an hour--we were told our table was ready. By then, the issue was no longer the wait, but the clear lack of organization and professionalism. We will not be returning.

First of all the pizza wasn't even cut through, and the sad attempt at cutting was so uneven that 4 of the slices were about an inch wide, while the others were about 4" each. The toppings were scarce, they used mini pepperoni and put maybe 8 on the whole pizza. The onions were huge chunks and the mushrooms were straight from a can. The worst part though was the thick doughy crust that tasted more like a fishy sourdough roll. I'm serious... It was so noticeable that it made me wonder if the dough was bad or if they for some weird reason put fish sauce in it. It was gross. We also ordered steak and Italian hoagies. The veggies were old and wilted, and there was no dressing on either. The Italian had deli meat that was clearly bottom of the line and not very generous. The "steak" (if you an call it that) was greyish instead of brown and looked like it was a processed meat chopped into pieces. No flavor or seasoning and the texture was reminiscent of spam. It was so bad that I only ate 1/4 of it and tossed the rest. I have ordered from here in the past and always been disappointed.
