    Pizza

Great Pizza located in the hotel. They have a wood burning pizza oven. You can actually see into the kitchen on how the pizza is being prepared. Crust - Crispy, had the bubbles / air pockets I love with a crunchy crust. Sauce - the sauce was okay. It was good, not too much where the toppings would slide off. Toppings - Good Toppings - the pepperonis had some crunch which I like. The food was great. I would go back her for some pie :)

This place is under rated. Never super crowded bc ppl don't think of it. It's off the beaten path. Both times I was here everything was amazing. Bar bites hand cut fries are a must & the sangria.

7-9-19 I'm still sticking with the 4 stars, because 3.5 is not a choice. The food & service at the bar as been fairly solid during my visits. It's definitely worth the visit if you're staying in the hotel. The draw for me previously living local is that a hotel bar/restaurant has to offer something unique that regular local bar/restaurants don't offer. Originally Ember & Vine's Happy Hour menu was large and fairly unique and one big draw was their 1/2 price wood fired pizzas during happy hour. They also used to have oysters & champagne specials & their smoked salmon deviled eggs were delish. On today's visit I noticed that the happy hour food menu had changed to just French fries (boring), wings (pretty boring but they did look good), Brussels sprouts (everyone got on this kick too) & I forget the 4th option. Anyway, none of those appealed or were very exciting & no 1/2 price brick oven pizza. I ordered 1/2 a Caesar salad & the Italian pizza $14. I didn't want a full size salad because I wasn't sure how large it was so the bartender offered a 1/2. The 1/2 was plenty for me combined with my pizza , but super small in a round dish, almost kid sized. The pizza was good, but not as good as previous visits, I felt for brick oven it was slightly under cooked & they sure skimped on the sausage topping, lots of cheese. The only thing I was totally happy about was that they still had the $7 Tito's dirty martinis on the happy hour menu. They also increased their craft tap & bottle list & have 4 wines on happy hour so beer drinkers should enjoy that . So nowadays the drinks & not the appetizers/food may be the only draw. Which obviously does NOT set Ember & Vine out above other local establishments. The bartender said there was a recent management change at the hotel which could account for menu changes. So Ember & Vine, bottom line is that if you want to draw locals to a hotel bar you're gonna need to kick it up a notch like from when you first opened.

Ember and Vine is modern and attractive in the remodeled hotel lobby. The menu is limited but diverse, with small plates, salads, pizza (of course), meat, fish, and pasta dinners, and sandwiches. The wine list is also limited and diverse, with prices on the high side of reasonable. Service at last night's dinner was okay, but the place was nearly empty, so it wasn't a real challenge. We had a burger and pizza and, as always, a bottle of California Chardonnay. The food was pretty good, and the wine was half-price because it was Wednesday. Overall it was a decent experience, but it is a hotel restaurant, although somewhat better than is typical. If we return it will be on a Wednesday to take advantage of the half-price wine.

What an all around great restaurant. Good wine list & nice staff. The deep fried cauliflower app was perfect...light and crunchy, not greasy at all. The bacon jam tarts w/ goat cheese were delicious and the charcuterie board was out of this world. It was heavenly, definitely enough for two people to share for dinner w/ a salad. Their pizzas are great, my son had the potato w/ arugula and my daughter had a plain cheese, both loved theirs. The steaks....wow. My husband had the filet with bleu cheese mashed potatoes, he commented all through the meal how flavorful the steak was. Also highly recommend the ribeye, its sauce was to die for. I honestly can't wait to dine there again...

My husband and I came here on a Friday evening around 6:30pm. The restaurant is situated in the lobby of the Double Tree located in Cranberry. To our surprise, it was fairly empty. As the evening went on a live band began to play and the crowd began to roll in. Before arriving, we had looked at a menu online and had an idea of what we wanted to try. The in-restaurant menu was slightly different as some of their items are seasonal. I began with the Spring Swallow Creative Cocktail and to my disappointment, the drink was missing the sprig of thyme. We moved on to the appetizer. Several of my friends recommended the Crispy Brussel Sprouts - and man, they were absolutely amazing! Freshly caramelized with thick, fresh bacon pieces and onions. For entrees, we each picked an item to split - I ordered the Chicken Cobb Salad and my husband ordered the Spring Vegetable Pappardelle. My salad was adorned with house made pickles, house cured bacon, chicken, avocado, hard boiled egg, and tomatoes. All of the ingredients were fresh and of high quality. To top it off, my husbands pasta was house made - very light and it did not leave you feeling bloated. The vegetables were fresh, yes FRESH. I cannot praise this restaurant enough for providing high quality, fresh tasting, flavorful food. My only complaint (besides my missing thyme sprig) was that the service was rather slow and the prices were a little high, but the food made the experience exceptional.

Very nice place for a date night out! The service was top notch, feeling like I was super important. You are free to try any beer as a sample, which was nice since they had such a big selection. The food was so delicious. We had the buffalo chicken Rangoon and crispy Brussels sprouts for an appetizer - yum yum!!! And I had a pizza and my boyfriend has the Ember burger (Reuben on a burger!). We will certainly be back!

We were warmly greeted by Todd and Gina, the owners, who couldn't have been friendlier. Todd told us all about their wines, including the awards they've won, especially in California, and generously offered us the chance to try any of the wines at no cost. We started with the Gruner Veltliner, a bright, citrusy, and crisp wine. It was extremely dry compared to other Gruners we've had, which are usually more fruit-forward, but it was still quite enjoyable. Next, we tried the Riesling, which was also very good. My wife moved over to the semi-sweet side and tried the Traminette, which I eventually sampled after trying all the dry wines. We both really liked it. I then tried the Cabernet Franc, which was a medium-bodied wine with notes of raspberry, blueberry, and a light mocha oakiness--delicious! The Chambourcin was also quite good, without the typical bite or tartness. Lastly, the Flagship Red, a classic Bordeaux-style dry red, had a pleasant hint of pepper and was definitely a standout. Todd shared that they exclusively offer wines from Stony Run Vineyards in Breinigsville, PA, which has a wide selection. They're also planning to offer Old Fashioneds soon, as their winery includes a distillery, and they'll be featuring a "drink of the week" as well. What really sets this place apart, though, is Todd and Gina themselves. They're genuinely kind people who are dedicated to the community, and it was heartwarming to learn that they both served in the US Military--Todd in the Navy and Gina in the Air Force. We're already looking forward to our next visit when we're in the area again. Don't forget to thank them for their service when you stop by!

I called in at 630P to check on my order. After, I walked in twice to check. I called in at 7P to check on my order (third time) and this time was told to hold as they actually checked. I was then told it would be with me in 10 minutes. At 715P, they brought out my order. My drive home is ~15 minutes. I get that food will lower in temp on any drive home. Our food was cold. Not even a bit warm. The onion rings felt as though they'd been sitting inside for a long time. And yes, I tipped significantly. We were very disappointed. While I can recommend dining inside, and we will likely do so again in the future (far future), I cannot recommend carry-out at all.

The menu verges on sophistication like the name would imply, but the acoustics inside make for a very noisy dining experience. The offers of cheap well drinks and nightly live bands seem like they would fit in better at another place entirely, and the flashing blue and green lights behind and under the bar and the hair band posters all over the wall certainly take the class level down a notch. The wine list is extensive as it should be, and the house-made sangria is very good- and I don't take my sangria lightly! Our service at a Friday night dinner was great and thorough, although our waitress wasn't entirely knowledgeable about the menu. My group had a variety of salads, appetizers and main dishes. Overall, the house salad was good, the zucchini noodles were interesting but average, the crispy ricotta gnocchi were awesome, and the diver scallops and couscous were tasty and filling. The Wexford area does have a need for a wine bar/lounge. I think if D'vine gets through some growing pains and really focuses on branding itself as just one type of restaurant instead of trying to be all things to all people, it has the potential to be really good, especially considering the friendly service and tasty food.
