    Peach Bellini & Peep Martini

This is always such a great experience, especially for a lady's night out. It's a go-to for celebrating birthdays or special occasions with their specialty drinks being such a delicious treat! The food is always delicious as they focus on their foundational offerings and don't have an expansive menu. We enjoyed the peach bellini and the peep martinis, along with some very smooth white & red wines, as recommended by our hostess, Diane, who couldn't have been more lovely and helpful. We also enjoyed the Ruby's salad which is always fresh and delicious with their homemade vinegarette dressing. It's fun to share appetizers here - we loved the bruschetta and meatballs. This women's owned business is a beautiful place with a unique ambiance.

I just love Ruby's Winehouse!!! Check out my previous reviews!! What a hidden "GEM!!!!!" My friends and I have NEVER been disappointed. I love the Italian wedding soup SOOO.... much that I had to take a Quart home with me!!! I would literally drive there just to get the soup! This time around we had a great bottle of wine and the Spaghetti with Meatballs, as well as the Vodka Sauce add Sausage Always on point Thank you so much!!! Coming back every time I'm here!! The ambiance is always so warm... happening & busy. Make sure to book a Reservation ahead of time

Very small menu and a little pricey. The had a happy hour special on watermelon martini's, I really liked it, my first martini! Started with a bowl of wedding soup which was absolutely delicious. For an entree, I had the spaghetti and meatballs, it was good. The marina sauce was perfect. The meatballs were average, nothing I couldn't make myself. Our waitress was outstanding. She was personable, attended quickly to our needs, kept our water glasses full, and packed up our leftovers for us. I wish I could remember her name, maybe Dee but I'm not sure. The restaurant itself is adorable. It's small but so cute. Overall a good experience. I gave only 4 stars because I felt like it was overpriced. Sorry, I forgot to take a pic of my entree.

Great ambiance for a date night. Instead of getting a main meal, we tried a few of the apps and they were all very good. The cheesecake cone for dessert was delicious! Great wine list, but it would be nice if there were a few more options by the glass.

This is a family owned restaurant and you feel that vibe as soon as you walk in the door. The decor makes you feel like you are in a cozy cabin the woods. The dining and bar area are SMALL - don't recommend for groups over 6 people. For sure make reservations ahead of time. The food menu has a few items that are changed out seasonal. I highly recommend the fried zucchini or risotto balls for an appetizer. If you're choosing between their pasta, go with the vodka sauce - it's chef's kiss. I don't drink alcohol, but their wine flights are very popular almost every table had one. Highly recommend for a date night or wine night with the girls. I will be back soon!

Ruby's never disappoints. The food is so good! It's the best alfredo I can find in the U.S. Just like when I was in Italy. The service and ambiance are great. Cozy and warm in so many ways. We have never had a bad experience. This is my happy place. Well done, Ruby's!

Came in for dinner on a Wednesday night at 6pm. We made reservations in advance and it was definitely necessary. The restaurant was super busy. Despite the crowd on hand, our food and drinks were brought out super quickly. Our server was friendly and attentive, checking on us several times throughout our meal. The wide variety of wine available at happy hour was pleasantly surprising! They have several spirits, as well, along with some fun cocktails. It was definitely loud in there, but in the "soft seating", we were close enough that we didn't have to yell to hear each other. The food was delicious. The arancini were my favorite. So cheesy and the marinara was very flavorful. The stuffed banana peppers were loaded and very mildly spicy. My friends cleared their pasta plates and were very happy with them. Would recommend for a girls night!

Super cute place! I look forward to coming back in warmer months to enjoy their outside patio. Super cozy atmosphere, with a huge wine and cocktail selection! I was surprised there were no food or wine specials for happy hour, that would have put this place at Five stars for me. The only drink special was on a martini, I didn't really come here for a martini. The salad, although delicious, was super small and left me hungry. I was surprised at the price for such a small salad, it was nearly $20 with adding shrimp. Our service was great, everyone seemed very friendly.

This spot is absolutely the cutest! Such a fun ambiance with several seating style options. We loved the purple velvet couches! My favorite thing about Ruby's is the preselected wine flights. It takes so many decisions off of you to just enjoy the wine. Service was over the top! Very attentive and everything came out in a timely manner. All of their food is homemade and so delicious! I enjoyed the spaghetti Alfredo and fried zucchinis. Don't skip dessert!!

This place was highly recommended Nestled on a face cliff roadside this restaurant is easy to miss and parking can be quite intimidating. I'm not a local so not sure how busy the road can get put a newbie like me might have to make a u-turn. We came on a Wednesday night it wasn't too busy we found parking right away and after taking in grandmas quaint little porch and walking through the front door we was greeted by the bar and a hostess came out and seated us immediately. There was outside seating but we sat inside taking in all the wonderful wine and whiskey the house has to offer. The special was grilled chicken farrafelle (spelled like how I said it lol) and zucchini fries which I ordered. Their food menu is limited to maybe two pages and the restaurant of the book was dedicated to wine. I ordered the bouquet flight and a glass of the one I liked the most. Our food was delicious that all I can say and the zfries had the best crunch and squishy ratio than any I've ever tried.

Beautiful little spot for a glass of wine and small plates! Hard to park and hard to get a seat at times but if you can make a reservation that's always better. Really nice rustic vibe and sweet options to eat and drink.

We've had the meatballs, bruschetta, arancini, and Italian greens and beans, which are all delicious - it's hard to pick a favorite.

She was attentive and friendly, but not overbearing. The restaurant was slow, but the service was fast. Ordered the fish sandwich that was suggested by Ally. I just didnt have that great of a food experience but I am willing to try again. We were greeted at the bar super quickly and the bar tenders were very kind. I love that when you get a draft they give you a frozen glass! Nothing better than an ICE cold cider and having a frozen glass keeps it perfect. The prices of the tall cider was great too! Now for the food.... we got the Triple Play Dip with Tortilla chips. The chips were good but a little too salty for me. The dips were not bad im just not a fan of cilantro and they put a good bit in all of the choices but my boyfriend really liked the dips. Then we got the Brisket Chili. I totally believe that they only put a cup of chili in the bowl because the bowls were HALF filled and they had hardly any brisket in them and they charge $2 more.... All I could taste was the regular beef and the flavor was not that great. I had really high hopes for it since I love brisket but I was disappointed at the portion size as well as the flavor. I am willing to go back and try their wings because they do have smoked and grilled wings that looked gluten free and they looked pretty good. Plus its a good drinking bar. All in all ill be back definitely for the drink prices but possibly the food. Everyone deserves a second chance.

I don't know how I'd feel bringing a family in here. The location is a bit wonky in a mall parking lot as well. With an 8:50 PM flight out of Pittsburgh and not much time to spare, we decided to grab dinner on the way to the airport. I let my travel companion pick the restaurant, and since he's a lot like his father, he made a solid choice. All Star Sports Bar & Grill was conveniently located and an easy stop before heading to the airport. Thankfully, the restaurant wasn't busy when we arrived because we still had the rental car return, TSA and a flight ahead of us. We opted for the dining area rather than the bar, which gave me a chance to take in all the sports memorabilia. As a lifelong sports fan, I really enjoyed the atmosphere. Being in Pittsburgh, the walls were covered with Steelers and Penguins history, along with plenty of jerseys from players I grew up watching. Our server, Nicole, was excellent from start to finish. Friendly, attentive, and quick with recommendations. Before my coworker could even look at the menu, I spotted the Soft Pretzel Sticks and ordered them as an appetizer. Good decision. Warm, salty, and paired perfectly with the cheese sauce. Definitely order these When I asked Nicole for recommendations, she immediately suggested the Reuben and the wings. Had I not eaten a Reuben the day before, that's probably what I would have ordered. As for the wings, I'll admit it--I am a Wing Snob. If they're not homemade or from Western New York, I'm usually passing. That's not a knock on their wings; it's just a very high standard that comes from growing up around some of the best wings in the country. Wanting to try something local, I ordered the Pittsburger. For me, it was just okay. Not bad by any means, and I cleaned my plate, but it wasn't a sandwich I'd order again. Looking back, the Reuben probably would have been the better choice. The fries were also average. I requested them crispy and without seasoning, but they didn't really stand out. Meanwhile, my travel companion ordered boneless wings. What can I say? He's 18. I even tried explaining the superiority of blue cheese over ranch, but that lesson appears to have fallen on deaf ears. Overall, I'm giving All Star Sports Bar & Grill 3 stars. That rating has more to do with my particular food choices and the rushed nature of our visit than the restaurant itself. The sports atmosphere was excellent, the service from Nicole was outstanding, and there were several menu items I'd like to come back and try. If I'm back in the area with more time and a bigger appetite, I'd definitely give this place another shot.
