    Chipotle chicken

We went here and it was my first time. I'm not sure why or how I avoided the beauty of this establishment. The occasion was my Fatgers 78th birthday and the entire evening was amazing. From Savannah *with fake name tag* stating a different name our server to the delicious food and Modela draft on special. The smells *wink wink* and eye candy were a perfect sizzler for the Ole man. Lol.. i had a chipotle chicken over taters and man it was terrific. I'll definitely be back for more smells. Lol

No pictures are allowed inside, but I was pleasantly surprised with the rustic and outdoorsy decor throughout. They have a ton of seating both at tables and at the large bar. They also have plenty of tvs for all of the sports games. The beers came out frosty and fresh. I didn't have a chance to try the food, but have heard decent things. Our bar staff were a little slow for the extremely small crowd on hand, but they were friendly. The bathroom could've been cleaner, but was overall fine.

The service is fantastic and The food is really good, and the beer is always cold and I don't care what the girls are wearing. I'm there for the good food .

    Smoked and grilled wings

I never heard of Twin Peaks and didn't check it on Yelp. My friends and I were staying in the Hilton Garden very close to the restaurant, and I passed it a few times earlier in the day. I picked up my friend at the airport on Friday night and suggested we eat here since it was close. We walked in, and I noticed the outdoor theme with stuffed animal heads on the wall and antler light fixtures. Then I saw a sign on the wall that said no pictures allowed. WHAT? How could I help out the Yelp community with no pictures? And then I saw a waitress dressed in lingerie and thought, where did I bring my friends lol? I would compare it to Hooters, but on Friday, lingerie night, be prepared to see a whole lot of bootie lol. We were seated right away. I couldn't help but notice most of the patrons were men. Our server was friendly and helpful. I ordered smoked and grilled wings with the cajun rub and a side of asparagus. The wings were fried hard and pretty tasty. The asparagus was ok, but lacked seasoning. Honestly, I would probably not eat here again. Not because I didn't like the food but because it made me feel uncomfortable.

We came here with my FIL, MIL, and my Hubby for the first time ever. My hubby and I have been to this establishment but in Vegas. Loved it there and ABSOLUTELY loved it here. Ella was our waitress and she was an absolute delight! Friendly, funny but above all, very attentive to the many tables she had, including ours. And we were there for almost 5 hours and we were taken well care of. As a waitress for over a decade throughout my life (I told her for being a waitress at her age with that type of service) that it was extremely impressive. Food was delicious, memories were made. 12/10 in my book!

Food was very good! Unfortunately the service was lackluster. Maybe our server was just having a bad day but she almost never came around to check on us, our apps were cold by the time we got them, and we felt like a bother anytime we asked her for anything. That was a bit of a bummer but overall the vibe was nice and I liked that it had a lot of TVs and could watch a variety of different sports and games. I would go back and just hope the service part was just a one off.

Half a container of ranch?? You can more for a charge...

Ok. Food first. Very good. Smoked wings were excellent. The half of dish of ranch was disappointing. I asked if they could add more to it. She said yes for a small up-charge. Wait..so you only give half a ranch but you can pay for more?? BLT lobster roll epic. It was awesome. Beers are 7.50 each. They brag about the 29 degree beer, but after the ice melts off the top you have a glass of 3/4 full watered down beer. So at the end you pay $7.50 for about 3/4 of a beer. Norm for the establishment. Next. Service. Not great. Two bartenders. Both with so much make up they could be in a circus. Trying REALLY hard to flirt with the regulars. Even coming around sitting at the bar sharing pictures on their phone while other customers wait. They definitely know how to work a crowd...service to the other customers is second to flirting with the regulars. It's like they try to hard to be attractive. You get your "what can I get ya babe" and "thank you hon". Trying way too hard. If you like golf or soccer you're in luck. I asked for baseball game on one of the TVs and apparently it takes an act of god. Like they have to go get someone to work the remote. Thursday night football comes on and they put it in one TV. Some international soccer thing on the other. Golf on 2 others. It's about the atmosphere here. I would go back for the lobster roll for sure. 2 stars for service 4 for food.

I don't know how I'd feel bringing a family in here. The location is a bit wonky in a mall parking lot as well. However, the service was solid, but I was confused because two servers were taking care of us at the same time. If you're looking for a bar while you're at the mall, this is pretty much the only thing you've got that's within the same walking space. Enjoy.

With an 8:50 PM flight out of Pittsburgh and not much time to spare, we decided to grab dinner on the way to the airport. I let my travel companion pick the restaurant, and since he's a lot like his father, he made a solid choice. All Star Sports Bar & Grill was conveniently located and an easy stop before heading to the airport. Thankfully, the restaurant wasn't busy when we arrived because we still had the rental car return, TSA and a flight ahead of us. We opted for the dining area rather than the bar, which gave me a chance to take in all the sports memorabilia. As a lifelong sports fan, I really enjoyed the atmosphere. Being in Pittsburgh, the walls were covered with Steelers and Penguins history, along with plenty of jerseys from players I grew up watching. Our server, Nicole, was excellent from start to finish. Friendly, attentive, and quick with recommendations. Before my coworker could even look at the menu, I spotted the Soft Pretzel Sticks and ordered them as an appetizer. Good decision. Warm, salty, and paired perfectly with the cheese sauce. Definitely order these When I asked Nicole for recommendations, she immediately suggested the Reuben and the wings. Had I not eaten a Reuben the day before, that's probably what I would have ordered. As for the wings, I'll admit it--I am a Wing Snob. If they're not homemade or from Western New York, I'm usually passing. That's not a knock on their wings; it's just a very high standard that comes from growing up around some of the best wings in the country. Wanting to try something local, I ordered the Pittsburger. For me, it was just okay. Not bad by any means, and I cleaned my plate, but it wasn't a sandwich I'd order again. Looking back, the Reuben probably would have been the better choice. The fries were also average. I requested them crispy and without seasoning, but they didn't really stand out. Meanwhile, my travel companion ordered boneless wings. What can I say? He's 18. I even tried explaining the superiority of blue cheese over ranch, but that lesson appears to have fallen on deaf ears. Overall, I'm giving All Star Sports Bar & Grill 3 stars. That rating has more to do with my particular food choices and the rushed nature of our visit than the restaurant itself. The sports atmosphere was excellent, the service from Nicole was outstanding, and there were several menu items I'd like to come back and try. If I'm back in the area with more time and a bigger appetite, I'd definitely give this place another shot.

Downey's House provided the local spot I needed. An ice cold Yuengling on draft went down very well, and while I didn't find pierogis on the menu, I settled for a phenomenal bowl of spaghetti & meatballs. Local marinara & meatballs made with the same recipe of the old Main Hotel that was in Carnegie for nearly 100 years. That bowl of pasta was SCRUMPTIOUS and just what I was after. I even talked my lovely wife into doing up her salad 'Pittsburgh style', which means adorning the salad with fries. And yes, it's as good as it sounds. Thrown in a protein like grilled chicken and that is a banger of a meal. Great dining area with a square-shaped bar and TVs with sight-lines in any direction. Its a decent serving size for an appetizer. I enjoyed it. The nachos were surprisingly tasty. When they came out I was unsure about them because any other time I've ever ordered a loaded type nacho they're, how do I explain it, more colorful I guess. Usually its like bacon and American cheese, guac, pico, etc., but these were just shades of white and green. I wish I could've finished them but the portion was quite a bit for 1 person. My only gripe would be the chicken. It reminded me of the meat you get in a launchable. I think I would rather prefer a crispy diced chicken. But that's just me. The other 2 didn't have any complaints about the Rival Stix or the burger. The Chicken Tenders were said to not have much flavor in the breading. The person who ordered them didn't care for the breading. I was also tempted into some sort of creme brulee donut I think.
