It's been since pre-pandemic since I've had this chain. Came for the bogo wing promo. Ordered half their hottest flavor and half Thai curry. Unfortunately they gave me the wrong flavor but I didn't make the fuss to refire as the first round took quite a bit despite being the only person at the bar at 345 on a Thursday. Their loaded chicken dog was solid for $5 and tots for $3. For all the wing flavors they have, it would be nice if it came with a customary dipping sauce. The wings themselves were fine. The hottest by the 3rd one were lingering with heat. The breading felt like standard chain wings and reminded me quite honestly of Applebees endless wings (moderately cheap and frozen). The specials are nice but bogo made the price reasonable. But I'd rather do endless for $16 at say caliente as they are cheaper with more quality.

Came in an hour and a half before close on a Saturday night and the bar area was dead. We were able to sit wherever and our bartender was friendly and immediately took our drink and food order. They were more than accommodating with substitutions, when they advised us they were out of onion rings. Our food came out quickly and was piping hot. Our drink glasses were never empty and we had plenty of napkins. Couldn't have asked for more! The restaurant itself was pretty quiet with only a few other groups seated in the dining room. As far as we could tell, everything was clean. Great spot to drop in for a game and/or some good food.

A friend invited me to meet him to share a meal and watch a game at this Buffalo Wild Wings. I've been to other locations in this chain before, so I was totally down! When I arrived the place was packed, but he had been there a while and managed to get us a decent table. Tip: There are screens all over the place, so it's almost impossible to sit and not be able to watch a game while you eat :-) We shared an order of street tacos, some potato wedges and some wings. The food was pretty good, the beer was cold, and the service was friendly and fast. It has been a while since I had been to a BWW, so I had forgotten what a great place it is to get your sports on while eating - I won't go so long before my left visit ;-)

I gotta say the "street tacos" have won me over!! Who would think a restaurant that specializes and wings would have fantastic tacos.. but they do.

I don't know how I'd feel bringing a family in here. The location is a bit wonky in a mall parking lot as well. However, the service was solid, but I was confused because two servers were taking care of us at the same time. If you're looking for a bar while you're at the mall, this is pretty much the only thing you've got that's within the same walking space. Enjoy.

After several days of working long hours and running on…read morevery little sleep, there were only a few things on my young travel companion's mind: sports, food, sleep, and probably girls--in no particular order! With an 8:50 PM flight out of Pittsburgh and not much time to spare, we decided to grab dinner on the way to the airport. I let my travel companion pick the restaurant, and since he's a lot like his father, he made a solid choice. All Star Sports Bar & Grill was conveniently located and an easy stop before heading to the airport. Thankfully, the restaurant wasn't busy when we arrived because we still had the rental car return, TSA and a flight ahead of us. We opted for the dining area rather than the bar, which gave me a chance to take in all the sports memorabilia. As a lifelong sports fan, I really enjoyed the atmosphere. Being in Pittsburgh, the walls were covered with Steelers and Penguins history, along with plenty of jerseys from players I grew up watching. Our server, Nicole, was excellent from start to finish. Friendly, attentive, and quick with recommendations. Before my coworker could even look at the menu, I spotted the Soft Pretzel Sticks and ordered them as an appetizer. Good decision. Warm, salty, and paired perfectly with the cheese sauce. Definitely order these When I asked Nicole for recommendations, she immediately suggested the Reuben and the wings. Had I not eaten a Reuben the day before, that's probably what I would have ordered. As for the wings, I'll admit it--I am a Wing Snob. If they're not homemade or from Western New York, I'm usually passing. That's not a knock on their wings; it's just a very high standard that comes from growing up around some of the best wings in the country. Wanting to try something local, I ordered the Pittsburger. For me, it was just okay. Not bad by any means, and I cleaned my plate, but it wasn't a sandwich I'd order again. Looking back, the Reuben probably would have been the better choice. The fries were also average. I requested them crispy and without seasoning, but they didn't really stand out. Meanwhile, my travel companion ordered boneless wings. What can I say? He's 18. I even tried explaining the superiority of blue cheese over ranch, but that lesson appears to have fallen on deaf ears. Overall, I'm giving All Star Sports Bar & Grill 3 stars. That rating has more to do with my particular food choices and the rushed nature of our visit than the restaurant itself. The sports atmosphere was excellent, the service from Nicole was outstanding, and there were several menu items I'd like to come back and try. If I'm back in the area with more time and a bigger appetite, I'd definitely give this place another shot.

Downey's House provided the local spot I needed. An ice cold Yuengling on draft went down very well, and while I didn't find pierogis on the menu, I settled for a phenomenal bowl of spaghetti & meatballs. Local marinara & meatballs made with the same recipe of the old Main Hotel that was in Carnegie for nearly 100 years. That bowl of pasta was SCRUMPTIOUS and just what I was after. I even talked my lovely wife into doing up her salad 'Pittsburgh style', which means adorning the salad with fries. And yes, it's as good as it sounds. Thrown in a protein like grilled chicken and that is a banger of a meal. Great dining area with a square-shaped bar and TVs with sight-lines in any direction. The service is friendly and helpful, and prices are probably lower than at some chain-y eatery that just makes your food via assembly line. It's local and sensational!

It has a richer, more robust flavor than the Dirty Blonde, and it's always served ice cold. The blackened salmon was cooked perfectly and well seasoned, with a side of broccoli that complemented it nicely. The meal didn't begin with an appetizer--it began with a warm welcome and one of the brightest smiles you'll find. Aquilla made the experience memorable from the start. She was attentive, an excellent listener, and genuinely engaging, even sharing her thoughts during a lighthearted conversation about custard versus gelato. Her friendly personality made the meal feel personal rather than routine. I only wish more people in the customer service industry approached their work with the same warmth and authenticity. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. Multiple TVs surround the bar and are scattered throughout the restaurant, all showing different sporting events. The taxidermy displays and rustic wood tables add to the outdoorsy lodge-style feel. I will be back soon, Brandon Bach

I just didnt have that great of a food experience but I am willing to try again. We were greeted at the bar super quickly and the bar tenders were very kind. I love that when you get a draft they give you a frozen glass! Nothing better than an ICE cold cider and having a frozen glass keeps it perfect. The prices of the tall cider was great too! Now for the food.... we got the Triple Play Dip with Tortilla chips. The chips were good but a little too salty for me. The dips were not bad im just not a fan of cilantro and they put a good bit in all of the choices but my boyfriend really liked the dips. Then we got the Brisket Chili. I totally believe that they only put a cup of chili in the bowl because the bowls were HALF filled and they had hardly any brisket in them and they charge $2 more.... All I could taste was the regular beef and the flavor was not that great. I had really high hopes for it since I love brisket but I was disappointed at the portion size as well as the flavor. I am willing to go back and try their wings because they do have smoked and grilled wings that looked gluten free and they looked pretty good. Plus its a good drinking bar. All in all ill be back definitely for the drink prices but possibly the food. Everyone deserves a second chance.

Its a decent serving size for an appetizer. I enjoyed it. The nachos were surprisingly tasty. When they came out I was unsure about them because any other time I've ever ordered a loaded type nacho they're, how do I explain it, more colorful I guess. Usually its like bacon and American cheese, guac, pico, etc., but these were just shades of white and green. I wish I could've finished them but the portion was quite a bit for 1 person. My only gripe would be the chicken. It reminded me of the meat you get in a launchable. I think I would rather prefer a crispy diced chicken. But that's just me. The other 2 didn't have any complaints about the Rival Stix or the burger. The Chicken Tenders were said to not have much flavor in the breading. The person who ordered them didn't care for the breading. I was also tempted into some sort of creme brulee donut I think. It was really good but I was already so stuffed from the nachos that I couldn't finish it. Its for the sweet tooth folks. The general space is all sports themed as expected. Quite spacious. During lunch (my first trip), our waitress was very attentive, drinks were consistently refilled, and our food came out promptly. The second time, I had to flag down our waitress quite several times to get anything. Nothing to complain about when it comes to the prices.
