Jumping back on the turnpike in Cranberry, I wanted to grab a quick lunch and saw Jason's right at the light... The drive thru was empty right at lunch time, but I decided to pull up and glance through the menu. The photos of the sandwiches and fun names immediately captured my attention. I went with Reuben The Great (I wish The Carmela had details of ingredients because it looked delicious too) The restaurant looked clean and updated when glancing in from the drive thru, but honestly the drive thru was quick and painless too. They have cute holiday bags and they put your sandwich in a structured to go container. Good thing too... because it is packed with fresh cut deli meat!! The corned beef was juicy and tender. Located in a shopping plaza with a very large parking lot (which includes Tesla brand EV chargers), this location of a national fast casual restaurant is perfect for travelers on the Pennsylvania Turnpike and I-79! You can order on their app to have it ready for pickup and there is a drive-thru. We chose to dine in. The tables, the bathrooms, everything was clean. The staff were friendly and attentive (check on by three staff members). My go-to on their regular menu is the grilled cheese sandwich and tomato soup combo (under $10). I also prefer their iced tea flavors with pure cane sugar they offer in addition to a typical soft drink menu. My husband and I were in the Cranberry area and I was so excited to eat at Jason's deli again. It was so delicious the first time. We were very disappointed this time around. Once again I ordered the turkey Muffaletta. This time it was very dry with very little meat or anything else on it. Mostly dry bread. My husband ordered the Cowboy. Equally disappointing. The sandwich was very small and didn't look at all appetizing. The salad bar was very good. If we would have had this experience on the first visit I don't think that we would have returned for a second visit. read more

First, we have only been here a couple of times. Our overall experience is good. However, my one complaint is I think they use that 'fake' oil that many restaurants use. (don't know the name). Maybe not all people experience the aftertaste, but I do, big time. Second, I will give them another chance and order an item that doesn't have grilled, fake oil, chicken, and there are many other options from which to choose. I hope Jason's reads this so they can see that this fake oil really is awful for most of us. So much is good about your restaurant. Charge us a little more and use the real vegetable oil that doesn't stink! read more

We stopped at Jason's Deli while we charged the car and had a very nice meal. One kid got the penne with meatballs and loved it. Another got the Annie's Turkey-O sandwich and also really liked it. The final one got a make your won wrap with turkey and gave it the thumbs up. My wife had the vegetarian chili and there was a little bar that had cornbread and garlic bread to go with it. I had the reuben which was good. Not NY deli good but still good. The prices are very reasonable, it was $45 for the 5 of us and this was definitely a win with everyone happy with their food. read more

The Irish Potato soup and salad bar were great; however, when my husband went to trade his used salad bar plate for a new one, the employee told him just to use the same plate. He insisted on a clean plate and was given one. I have to think this violates public health code to not require a clean plate when returning to the salad bar. read more

The problem with finding a lunch spot on a road trip is that it's a guessing game as to how maximize your experience. I feel like there were a few things we could have done to enhance our experience, though the food fully apologizes for it. The place was full enough to signal that this is a popular place despite giving knockoff Panera vibes at first glance. There is plenty of bustling noise despite the lack of music, which I had noticed after sitting at a table for 15 minutes for a simple build your own sandwich. Thankfully they offer free wifi at the cost of your name and email. We were given a placard with our number, witnessing a struggle for our delivery boy as he did a lap before gracing us with a beautifully plump sandwich with a knife and singular napkin. We had agreed to split a whole tuna on sourdough with onion and mushroom. The veg was fresh and raw. The bread was crispy from getting toasted, with crust akin to croutons. The tuna, oh my golly goodness, this is what made me glad I came. It wasn't gloopy. They added egg (which, in my opinion, is the best way to tantalize my fish craving taste buds) and a red tasting kick that hit me after bites. It was a mass of protein that left me content after eating half, letting my mate take the snack pack of jalapeno chips. This is a sandwich I'd order to go if I was passing through again. The bathrooms are clean, as is the dining room as there is a busboy taking up trash. I struggled to find a can to toss my things in. I love that the nutrition deets are online, and that they are very aware of their worth without overcharging the customer. I've been to many Jason's deli all over the states and this is the first time I had horrible service. I often stop at this location when I'm in town and I alway get the managers Half Special. It's a half sandwich and a one trip salad. Two days prior I came in at lunch, with a co worker, and we had 2 managers specials with the half sandwich and salad and the total was around $30 with drinks. This time I stopped by my self and ordered the same thing and the young man behind the counter had no clue on what to do when I ordered the meal. When I told him I wanted the managers special with the yankee and salad he kept asking if I wanted soup or fruit or chips. I explained that I only wanted the half sandwich and salad bar in the special. He totaled it up and said $19. I asked him how did you come to this total he mentioned it was extra for the salad. Although he still didn't see that it was too much he called over a young girl and she came up with the same amount. Clearly they had no clue what to do. I always order the half yankee and salad, as per the Managers special shows and have only paid about $16 with a drink. When the people behind the counter have no clue how to charge you correctly it doesn't make for a good experience. Because the two individuals could do simple math, I left them at the counter and walked away. So, if the managers special with the famous favorite half sandwich and side salad bar is only $9.96 per their menu, then how do they come up with the other $10 for my drink? Because they tried to sell me a full size sandwich and a side salad and a drink, which is NOT what I wanted it ordered. For starters, the salad bar was not refreshed, several items were not available including the side muffin and bread area. These two areas were never refreshed during our .45 min. stay. We asked the Asian girl seen delivering food to the tables about the salad and side bar being refreshed and she just looked at us, said nothing then walked away. Two of three sandwich orders were made incorrectly with one not having the bacon and tomato on it and the other with items on it not associated with the sandwich type. Again, we asked that girl about the salad and side bar not being refreshed and the sandwiches being made wrong and she gave us the same look and not speaking. Had lunch here the other day and it was okay. It's not anything spectacular. The taste of the food was fine and the service was pleasant. The real issue I have is the portion sizes of the Managers Special. The special offers half a sandwich with soup, fruit or mac & cheese. The mac & cheese was good, but the half sandwich was literally 2 bites. It was smaaaaaaall. And the price was about $13.00 I likely won't be back, as the price of the food is pretty high for the amount you get. I can get half a sandwich, soup and a side (baguette, apple, or chips) at Panera for $12.00 and not feel hungry after my meal. read more

What a great meal! We stopped in Thursday night around 8 and even though it was late everyone was so kind! I had the beefeater and omg it was delicious. I hate they are an hour away because I am already craving this sandwich again! My daughter had the Texas potato and could only eat half. She was so full! After being poisoned at Burger King at the Nashville airport. I was a little leery at eating at the airport. But I had a layover in Dallas and decided to try Jason deli. The food was delicious. So when I was in cranberry pa I spotted the Jason deli here. I decided to try it. I was having a not so pleasant day. I walked in and was greeted. They had a paper take away menu bc of covid. They had lots of options way more than the airport. But that was expected. I decided to try the manager special half sandwich I got the wild salmon-which and the veggie soup. And some vegetables. The sandwich was delicious the bread was slightly toasted and yummy . Everything was wonderful. They have outdoor seating with covered patio , inside , and a drive thru !! ! Nice and they offer free ice cream ! I'm not an ice cream eater but that is very nice I also noticed on the cup their logo is making people happy and they most certainly made me happy customer service was great Karen was very nice! Went to Jason's on 10-4-22 it was awful. Right off the bat the guy taking our order couldn't speak English and all the people working the line couldn't either. I asked a question in regards to the salad bar and not one of them understood what I was saying. Before Jason's hires these people they should make sure they have some English classes.
