I stopped in for a solo lunch this week, and I'm glad that I did. For what it is - a fast casual fried chicken place - it was really good. I ordered a chicken sandwich and fries, and went with the hot level of spice (one below thier hottest). The sandwich was big, the toppings were good, and the chicken was great. I hate when I order something listed as spicy on the menu and it's not. No fooling around here...it was HOT. Truth be told, I did a U-turn once I realized I just passed a place I've been wanting to try. Another truth be told, I almost did a 2nd U-turn once I glanced at the menu board and saw the prices. 11.00 for a chicken sandwich was a little more than what I wanted to gamble with, but opted to give it a try. Sandwich was prepared in a reasonable time and actually looked better than the picture posted on their signage. Good decision so far. One bite later confirmed that it passed the test, not quite the eleven dollar test, but far from a disappointment. Staff on hand were in close down mode and offered limited interaction. I didn't stop here for the longest time but when I did, I found out that this stuff is good. Fresh, hot, crispy chicken tenders. And they're not skimping on size. These are nice portions. The heat level: so they have levels, and I think it's a nice seasoning mix that they are using. The strips aren't drenched in sauce; I like it. However, the heat level is not consistent. I've gotten "HOT" where it was like your mouth was on fire and I've gotten "HOT" that was relatively mild. They give you some pickles, which is great! No so great: they put them in the cardboard box and the box doesn't survive. Fries can turn soggy too. If you ask them to put the pickles in a cup, they will! However once, the cup had no lid and the result was the same :-D. I think this is a major issue. I get the medium spice and get my father and husband the southern spice ( no spicy ) and we got an order of Chicken tenders with southern spice too. You order on the touch screens on the counter and pay at the machine next to screen and then the screen tells you which number you are. Order was out quick and get service. They are my least two favorite locations in the area, but will travel to for this chicken once in a while at least. The cranberry location is a lot smaller than Oakland. I have ordered online via Door Dash from this place multiple times. The most consistent attribute of them is inconsistency. Each time I received my orders with different quality and always with missing item(s). For example, last night, the chicken tenders were almost burnt and the cokes were missing. Also, the boxes were wet and almost torn apart. In my previous orders, I had wrong labeling of hotness, missing various items including dressing, pickles, beverage, and others. You might ask why I continued ordering while they have consistently had missing items and other problems? Because their chicken, when prepared correctly, is delicious. They're just tossed in a box with a packaged special sauce for dipping. Sauce is excellent. The only improvement is maybe a little less greasy, put another paper towel or something in the container to absorb some of the grease. Service- very friendly whenever I came in. I would give it a 4.8 Nice little fast food restaurant. Service was extremely fast. I got the Nashville Hot which is chicken, fries, bacon, nacho cheese all thrown together with your choice of sauce. The price was about standard. It filled me up and i am a big eater. It was recommended by one of the guys working there. I will definitely go back. I always enjoy the sandwich with the slaw and pickles to balance out the heat (I order Hot). The Medium heat level strips were too hot for the wife . Maybe some ranch dressing would help. We tried CHiKN in Oakland two years ago and were not impressed. However, several people said they really enjoyed it in Wexford and Cranberry. We decided to give it a chance. I'm really glad that we did. My mom, husband and I really enjoyed it. My mom and I had the southern chicken sandwich. It was huge and on a delicious giant brioche bun from Mediterra. The chicken was so tender, juicy and flavorful. It was so much better than the one we had in Oakland. I also loved the pickles. I personally thought the Comeback Sauce was just ok. I love sauces but I'd skip it the next time. My husband had the mild chicken sandwich plain. He really enjoyed it. Last time, he thought it was bland. This time he thought it was moist, juicy and very flavorful. We also got a giant side of fries for $2. They were good and heated up well today in the toaster oven when we had the second half of our sandwiches for lunch. Definitely go check them out. Such a great addition to Cranberry Township! My husband and I stopped in to pick up lunch and we were happy to see a decent amount of other folks supporting this local business. We ordered the 3 piece tenders (hot), the 10 piece nugs (medium) and the Nashville Hot fries (medium). The portions were great--the fries could have been a meal themselves! More on the fries...they were crinkle cut and extra crispy so they did not get soggy when they piled on the chicken, cheese, bacon and red peppers. The chicken was cooked perfectly and had just the right amount of heat. We also loved the comeback sauce (maybe a mustard base?) served with the chicken and the side of pickles. I'm a sucker for fried chicken when I want a cheat day meal. And Chikn did NOT disappoint!!!! It's so crispy and delicious. I got the regular chicken sandwich with extra pickles, a side of Mac and cheese and topped it off with the banana pudding for dessert. The meal was so big I actually ate half and saved the rest for lunch the next day and it reheated perfectly!!! The flavors were soooo good. Chikn is cold and sloppy! You don't have to worry, Chic Filet, about them taking any of your business. No one greets you or even says thanks. We ordered online for this new restaurant in Cranberry Twp,, Pa. First and foremost their online ordering system is not good. It adds subtracts items at will. It took almost 10 minutes to order 2 sandwiches, fries and some nuggets. The sandwich is $9. It was large and you order any degree of hot. The chicken itself was not even a warm temperature and it probably was from the mounds of cold slaw and cold pickles that were heaped on the sandwich. First time here with their recent grand opening and they unfortunately have some issues to work through. First, the restaurant's menu board was down, but not a huge issue. Secondly, it was the lunch rush and they still hadn't put on the nozzles for the fountain machine and seemed confused when I told them the machine wasn't working properly. As for the food, we ordered both the "Mild" and the "Hot" sandwiches and the spice level and flavor was identical. Mind you, there is another heat level separating the two so you should be able to notice. The fries were overcooked and were oddly full of grease on the inside but rock hard on the outside - had to throw them away. I appreciate having a new chicken sandwich place but they fell flat on my first visit. It is worth mentioning that there were about 40 people inside dining, ordering or waiting for takeout. We tried the Cranberry location for lunch today. I was a little skeptical because of some of the reviews, but this place is actually good. We used the online ordering (very smooth process). We ordered 2 sandwiches (one mild and the other damn hot), fries, mac & cheese, and a banana pudding. The sandwiches were really good. The mild was just enough spice and the damn hot was really, really hot. Both sandwiches had the slaw and sauce, which made the flavor really unique and tasty. The fries were great, done just right and sprinkled with some seasoning. The mac & cheese was also good (tasted baked), had good flavor and was also sprinkled with some seasoning. The banana pudding was okay. It could've had more bananas in it and been more of a pudding consistency. While the flavor was good, it felt like it was traditional banana pudding with lots of whipped cream mixed it, which gave it a bit of a loose consistency. I will say, that this pudding was refreshing after the hot flavors. It really helped to cool down the taste buds. :) The pickup was a breeze. Ordered online in advance, drove over, got a text when the food was ready, went into the Pickup door, grabbed our lunch, and we were on our way. The pricing is a bit on the expensive side for a weekday lunch, but it's not greasy fast food and the quality is deserving of a little higher price point. One note of caution: Hot is VERY hot here so if you're a weakling (like me) go for the Southern or Mild and you should be okay :) We'll definitely be back to try more on the menu! read more

Came here on a weekend day for lunch and they were moderately busy. The multi-colored hair guy at the register who took my order was friendly. The place is nicely laid out, but not clean as all the tables had crumbs and liquid spilled on them. I opted for their chicken sandwich and when I got it, it looked really good! But it was a dry-seasoned chicken, so it really needed the sauce to help make it "wet." The other issue was that the bread was cold and not toasted, heated, grilled, steamed - nothing... just a bun. Then, to add to this, the "slaw" that was on the burger was literally slaw mix with no sauce added to it!?!? WHY?!?! It was just dry cabbage and julienned carrot and it was so very boring. Why put that on a sandwich? So, it was basically a dry, basic sandwich, though I did really like the flavor of the chicken itself, the spice was very moderate, as I ordered a "medium" heat. I decided to try this place on a whim because I was craving.... well... chikn. I walked inside around 7pm on a Saturday evening. The place was moderately busy. A few tables had people and one person was in front of me and some more came in behind me. The menu is small - they really only have boneless chicken with a few sides. I decided to get the Mac Daddy - which is their Nashville chicken (I decided on medium heat) on a sandwich with mac and cheese and sauce. I also got a side of their coleslaw and a drink. It was pretty close to $20 total, so pretty pricey. I sat down to wait because I got my order to-go. It took less than 10 minutes, so great on the service. The sandwich was SO good. Huge with a jumbo size piece of chicken, and a lot of the mac and cheese. The Nashville sauce was so tasty, but even at medium heat it was very spicy. I was looking for the coleslaw to cool it down a little, but it had a sweet, maple syrup taste to it that I didn't like. First week of open. It was a bit chaotic, but to be expected in opening week. We did order from the Wexford pop-up about a month ago, so we knew what to expect. Next time I'll probably order online instead of at the restaurant. I waited about twenty minutes or so for my food. They were slammed with dinners and online orders. I didn't think the wait was that bad however. One suggestion, the young ladies that were working the front need to move a bit faster in packing the orders. It seems as though o my one person was packing. She would pack an order, then stop and take her mask down, take a drink, stand for a minute, then start back to packing. Also, when food was ready they would very quietly say a name, look around and then when nobody heard them say the name they would just go place it in the shelf. Then inevitably people would go look at the name on the tag. You can't hear what they say when the order is ready and they say it only once. The kitchen staff was on point and working their butts off. They did a great job trying to catch up. They were flying around. They seemed to have some computer glitches too, the staff was providing a manager/owner there constant feedback. As soon as my food was ready I rushed home and my son and I dug in. I've hand the chicken sandwich before and knew I liked it. It's a very generous sandwich, with a great flavor. I order fries for us to split, which were just okay. I also ordered Mac and cheese for us to try. It wasn't bad, I may have skipped the bbq seasoning that was sprinkled on it if I knew they were going to put it on there. My son ordered the chicken tenders. He said they were just so so. He wasn't as found of them as he was his sandwich he had last time.
