Stopped by on our way to the airport for a quick breakfast and were so glad we did! The place is super cute with a warm, welcoming vibe. The staff was awesome--friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed without feeling rushed. The food was incredibly fresh and tasted great--exactly what we needed to start our day. Definitely a spot I'd come back to if I'm in the area again!

A nice new place to add to your breakfast or lunch rotation! You order at the counter and your food is brought out to you. They were fairly busy when our party of 5 arrived but our food still came out quickly after we ordered. I went the breakfast route this time and got a breakfast sandwich with cheese, eggs and bacon in a bagel plus home fries. Next time I want to try their regular fries because they are crinkle cut and those are my fave! Our entire party enjoyed their meal and there are plenty of things I want to go back and try.

If you wake up after spending the night with Mamaw and she is in the kitchen cooking, she asks you "what do you want to eat sweetie"? That's how I felt walking into this great establishment. It has that at home vibrant feel. Fresh baked food is always the best when it's made with care and love. Thank you to four forks and I will be visiting often!

Home fries...GASSS! Bacon...GASSS! Cinnamon roll...GASSS! French toast...GASSSS! Chili (according to the kind lady nearby)...GASSSSSSSSSSSSS!

I ordered the bagel, egg, and cheese Sandwich. It was great! Workers were exceptionally personable. Would highly recommend!

Decent breakfast spot if you're in a pinch--whether for time or distance. We were really impressed…read morewith their goetta, and I loved that you can substitute it for other breakfast meats in most entrées. A couple notes I'd share with the restaurant: the entrée prices feel a bit high, and the gravy was unfortunately too thick and under-seasoned for our taste. I'd definitely give this place another try, but I wouldn't order the gravy again. They also missed one of our entrées, so my daughter didn't get her food until about 18 minutes after everyone else. The ambiance is cozy and no-frills, giving that classic local diner feel. The service was extremely friendly, and you can tell they have a solid base of regulars who enjoy eating here.

The place is bright and friendly with what appeared to be many regular patrons. Our server was nice and helpful. I ordered an omelette with a hotcake and he got two eggs over easy with goetta. Our meal came with toast too. We ordered rye and whole wheat. Candidly, the food didn't have any flavor. The potatoes were the most bland. My veggie omelette had large sliced vegetables inside vs smaller pieces. The huge hotcake was thick and I'm guessing that's the difference between a hotcake and a pancake. It was good but not great. Glad we stopped by. Atmosphere very nice, service was great. We won't return due to the food. Just not good, no flavor.

Great food and service…read more On a recent trip we were looking for something local to dine at and came across this restaurant. It is located next to the grocery store. The restaurant was clean and modern and had a great menu selection. The kids meals are $8 and come with a drink and side. I liked that they were really food just kids size versions. We had the sliders and chicken and waffles. On the adult menu we tried the cod dinner, hot honey chicken sandwich and pretzels and beer cheese. They also had a great selection of desserts.

It is located in a Kroger strip mall area but is slightly higher class than what one might think when they hear that. It was a weird off-peak time so it was no issue getting seated right away and service was pretty good. We started our late lunch and our vacation with a cocktail, both of which were pretty tasty! I wanted to make sure I got some veggies in me before a week+ of vacation eating, so I got a side salad, which was pretty ample for a side! I also got the mushroom ricotta dip appetizer as a "meal" and it was pretty delicious! Cheese, mushrooms and carbs...you can't go wrong with that in my opinion! We had an okay time, and we were able to dawdle and not be rushed. It wasn't our first choice on the day and likely wouldn't be at another time, but it was more than decent as a secondary/back-up choice for a place to eat.

The space is open, bright and well decorated making it very inviting for brunch. You order at the counter from the menus placed along the wall then food is delivered to your table. The various brunch items all sounded very inviting so I was having trouble deciding what to order. So I got a recommendation to try the Shakshuka. Not sure how to pronounce it but when it arrived it was just the right portion and quite tasty for brunch. It's a bowl with a red pepper sauce and feta cheese and kale along with eggs sunny side up. The dish is served with pita so you can do a little bit of dipping in the tasty sauce. To accompany our food we selected the mimosa service and bloody mary pitcher. A pitcher is just perfect for sharing. And the mimosa service was delightful. The server arrived with a bottle of Prosecco and small carafes of orange, grapefruit and blood orange juices to mix yourself. The food was fresh and tasty with prompt delivery of our food to our table. Not quite a full service restaurant since you have to order at the counter but still a nice experience located downtown.

The portions for even a tasting menu were extremely small. My entee (salmon) came out not hot. Overall we were left with the question of: what is all the fuss about with this restaurant? We will not be back.

What's striking about the restaurant itself is how quiet and calm it feels. With limited nightly seatings and every dinner table doing the tasting menu there's a sort of orchestrated flow that permeates the space. Not to say energy is low or it's so quiet you feel self-conscious talking; it's just that nothing about the experience feels rushed or accidental. As expected, the bread course was phenomenal as was all the food we enjoyed! We opted for the wine pairing along with dinner, which results in about 1.5 or 2 full glasses over the course of the meal. The sommelier did an excellent job introducing and explaining each wine, as well as why it was selected to pair with each course. All told, a lovely experience and one worth repeating--and not just because the menu changes every season.
