This is a farm to table restaurant in Boise in the heart of the city. We made reservations just in case, for an early dinner at 4:30pm, and it was not too busy - walk-ins seem to be possible if you cannot snag a limited reservation. We got the Carajillo cocktail (seasonal) and a glass of red wine from an Idaho winery. The drinks were expensive for Boise - $16 for a tiny cocktail, versus the usual $11-15 price tag at most of the nearby restaurants. The red wine was decent. The Carajillo was interesting as it was a take on espresso martini with some citrus notes We got the asparagus fries, tomato basil fondue and grilled cheese, Idaho rainbow trout, and Fork's signature warm butter cake. The asparagus fries were market price and fluctuates. It was decent - texture is pretty much asparagus with some fried batter and nothing special aside from the ranch sauce that you dip with it. The tomato basil fondue was an interesting take on grilled cheese and tomato soup. The fondue candle is aesthetic only - it was useless in keeping the soup warm. The Idaho rainbow trout was a pretty good price - a whole piece of fish filet into 2 pieces with a decent amount of root vegetables and Brussels sprouts. The fish needs some flavor but fine when combining with everything. The warm butter cake was good but the presentation was a bit sloppy - the ice cream failed to stay in the center since the butter cake was sloped and not uniform. Service is fine as bare minimum but felt a bit abrupt and inadequate at times. For a restaurant that you can easily spend $50-100 per person, especially in Boise, it is on the higher end so I expected more from the service.

The food was wonderful. We had a party of 13 and everybody was very pleased. The waiters were great and patient with such a large group paying individually. My only issue was the restaurant is very loud which made even talking to your neighbor a challenge.

I attended a farewell brunch here with a large group of friends. It was a nice ending to a long weekend with friends! I'm giving 4 stars because the service was great! Very attentive! However, I didn't find a whole lot of vegan friendly items. I opted for dry toast and avocado. The avocado was plentiful and perfectly ripe! I also got orange juice, I also got an iced tea. Should have started with the iced tea because it was nice and crisp tasting the way I like it and got free refills on the tea. I would have saved $4 on the juice!

I honestly didn't know a thing about Fork. We can as a large group of 16 or so people and I just tagged along for brunch. Located in the heart of downtown Boise in the beautiful and historic National Bank Building, Fork has that classy upscale feel. I love that that they also have a nice outside patio area if you want to take in a beautiful day. The bathrooms were clean and nice though is a bit weird that you have to cut through server station to get there. The menu has many unique brekkie items from chilaquiles to yummy sounding omelettes and a giant cinnamon role, but what caught my attention was Idaho Chef's Benny. Idaho = Local poachers + blackened & fried Idaho trout + local English muffin + Cajun hollandaise + crispy red potatoes. I've never had fish on a Benny so I had to try it. And I'm glad I did as it was delicious. One thing did bother me through and that's that I had to peel the skin off the fish and there was a little more fat than I would have liked. Still a good dish overall and worth trying. I do like that Forks big thing is buying locally from farm to fork. I also got a coffee but I didn't see it on the menu. I knew they had it anyway because what brunch place would've? The coffee itself was a bit too strong and bold. Not my style as I'm a medium body drink but it definitely seemed like a dark roast. I had to soften it was sweetener and creamer. I was a bit shocked to find out that the coffee was $6. They really outta put the item and price on the menu. I dislike when I have to guess at things, especially something as common as coffee. The server did forget my partners coffee though and had to be reminded. I get that we are a large party, but still. Overall I mostly enjoyed my experience and would go back again.

On our way to brunch we saw this place and it really caught my husbands eye. So with no reservations we headed here for dinner. We waited on bar seating which took a few minutes. The place was packed and rightfully so. After looking at the menu we went with the rainbow trout, the chicken dish, and truffle fries. Everything is farm to table aka farm to fork here. I've never had rainbow trout but it was delicious. My husband loved his chicken. Best unexpected visit and good service.

Wait here for lunch ended up, running into some friends and sat with their table. I ordered the salmon sandwich and a beer for lunch. The bartender ended up being in our server and we had a pretty large table since I joined them. Everybody all ordered different dishes and it all looked to be pretty good. This looks like a really nice place that has a little more of expensive items on the menu. I highly recommend for lunch. The place looked very clean and very well put together and very well trained staffed.

Came in on a Friday night and grabbed a seat at the bar. The decor had a classy rustic charm clean, warm, inviting with a great atomsphere. I ordered the Herb Crusted Prime Rib ($46), which is only offered on Fridays and Saturdays. The au jus served with it was delicious, but the prime rib itself was a bit disappointing. The temperature felt like it had been sitting out for a while. The mashed potatoes were not very creamy and bland in flavor. Overall, the restaurant has beautiful decor, a great atmosphere, and solid service at the bar. The food was okay.

While planning our Boise weekend getaway, I saw that Fork came highly recommended, so I made a dinner reservation and I'm so glad I did! We were tempted by all the appetizers, but our waiter suggested the smashed burger, which turned out to be the perfect pick. Juicy, flavorful, and served with a generous portion of fries. The standout for me, though, was the asparagus fries, our first time trying anything like that, and we devoured the whole plate. We also shared the grilled cheese fondue that is dipped in tomato soup which was so comforting. The potato salad it came as large wedges of potatoes, which my husband didn't mind one bit since he finished most of it. Although our server wasn't the most cheerful, the food came out quickly and everything was delicious. A great dinner spot in Boise that I'd happily return to.

Really top notch steak sandwich and truffle fries with garlic aioli, this is a can't-miss in Boise. Service was friendly and attentive and I was quickly seated. Restaurant is visually appealing and upscale. Definitely recommend!

Love the style of this restaurant - a nice mix of historic architecture and modern wood & dark moodiness. The service was excellent! We were pleased to be seated right away, our server answered all our questions and we were checked on often by multiple staff. We ordered the Sleeping Dragon mocktails and crisped Brussel Sprouts to start. They were both delicious with nice twists on the traditional flavor profiles. My mom ordered the braised short rib which was very tender and she very much enjoyed the hearty texture of the mashed potatoes. I had the SBC salad with smoked salmon & arugula - wow! Both portions were very large. We will definitely come back here the next time we're in town visiting family.

First meal while visiting Idaho from out of state! Exceptional farm-to-table and locally sourced food! It's the real deal, friends. From the fresh produce made into a winter grain salad to rainbow trout. This salad has quinoa, farro, kale, red cabbage,dried cranberries, sliced almonds in a peach and bourbon vinagrette. Healthy and delicious! The Idaho rainbow trout is perfect--tender, flaky and tasty. Their signature warm butter cake is very popular for good reason. Vanilla ice cream, fresh fruit, warm butter cake w/berry coulis is dessert gold that just melted in my mouth! The hubby and I were well impressed with the food here and excellent service from Halle. We'd love to eat here again when in town. 5 stars! PS: the outside around them is pretty too with lots of lovely flowers.

Stopped in at 4:45 pm on a Wednedsay for a bite, without reservations. The host sat us at a nice table, eloquently and politely mentioning that the table was reserved for 5:45 pm. We experienced a great meal and fantastic service. First, we shared an order of crispy and herby black truffle fries. My dining partner had the crispy chicken sandwich with chips and I ordered the king salmon sandwich, upgrading from chips to the house salad. Look at the picture! Can't you see the freshness? And the fresh herbed sauces served with the fries, chicken, and salad were wonderful. The chicken was juicy with a fresh potato bun. The salmon in the sandwich was cooked to perfection. The roll was soft with the perfect crusty chew. The side salad was fresh, with perfectly pickled onions. Our server, Becca B., was exceptional! She was super-friendly, professional, offered thoughtful recommendations, and stopped to check on us at all the right times. A true pro! I'd definitely come back again. We didn't try the grilled cheese & tomato fondue appetizer, but it looked delicious, as did the desserts. Give this place a try!

Oh.... Fork.... yeah..... I really like this place. Killer bar!!! Great food! Great staff. Everyone at fork is so nice and helpful and attentive. Top marks for the staff. Ambiance is good and they have a great bar area. Food is really good featuring local dishes, and they're very well done. Really well done. I've eaten here a number of times and have never had a bad experience. If you want to take someone you love out for a meal. Perfect If you want to take visiting in-laws out for a nice time, ... again Perfect. If you want to have a nice lunch and a Midday Martini.... yup. You guessed it. Perfect. Everything at Fork is really really good. Excellent in fact. This is one of the best restaurants in Boise. Be sure to make reservations because it's not a huge place. Go and fork yourself and the ones you love. You won't be disappointed read more

Delicious! Our party of three plus our dog enjoyed very last bite. The grain bowl minus egg (I'm testing a vegan diet), tomato bisque (friend), and a bacon cheese burger (hubby) we're all delicious and I'm even tempted to go back for dinner! The spicy Bloody Mary was just right and the onion rings for an appetizer were filling and tasty. Super friendly employees and very accommodating for our large dog. Plenty of spacial seating on the patio for COVID comfortability. Can't wait to return. read more

What a great find. Stopped here on our way to Washington State and had a wonderful dinner. They also had a very diverse and great wine list. We were able to try a wine in particular my husband was really wanting to try. We were a party of 8 so had several different dishes on the table. Everything was outstanding. read more

Fork has some great food but it can sometimes be off depending on who knows what!? I've had amazing food here and also forgettable food. It's not consistent unfortunately. When it's good it's 5 stars and when it's not it's a 3 star joint. Service is good and decor and vibe are cool. read more

Two couples, went here about noon on a Sunday. Seated immediately, attended to quickly. Had fried asparagus for appetizer. Just myeh. Had crispy northwest chicken salad. Others had a burger, omelets. Food served quickly. All tasted excellent. Fresh veggies on my salad. The place was so loud we had to yell to hold a conversation. Otherwise, a pretty good place. read more

Made a 9:30a res for brunch on a cold Sunday and arrived to be put under Jasmine's attentive service. As an eggs Ben elitist, I always go into it with low expectations for steam-tray hollandaise and resulting disappointment that can only be overcome by a couple of bloody marys. I tried to make myself sound optimistic with Jasmine, who read my thinly veiled sarcasm as needy and assured me that my prospects for delicious hollandaise made from scratch were excellent. However, she advised that she couldn't serve alcohol until 10a, so I would need to be patient. Patience is not exactly one of my talents, so I requested a 10:01 delivery of my bloody mary. The eggs ben was perfect in presentation and taste. The 10:03 bloody was a great chaser, and the 10:20 bloody put the day just right. Great job, Fork and especially Jasmine. read more

Great spot and a change from all the breweries in town. A bit more upscale feel but didn't feel the prices out of line. Our group had burger (huge), chicken sandwich (very good), 2 salads (my wife loved hers - the BCS salad with chicken instead of salmon). I recommend this place. read more

My husband and I decided to try this for the first time on 8/14. After much anticipation of hearing from friends and family that "Fork is amazing," we finally gave it a try. Unfortunately this has been the worst dining experience since moving here, well besides Nara! The wait was a bit long after being seated outside. Between the flies and no server for about 15 minutes, he finally showed up. He was friendly, quickly greeted us and I assumed it would be a long wait so I told him we'd like to order an appetizer. The fried asparagus was amazing, and piping hot. However, we did not have any utensils, napkins, etc. took another 10 to 15 minutes to finally take our dinner order, I had asked what are the specials- he recommended the ribeye with prawns. My husband and I both decided to do the special. Dimmer finally came another 15-20 minutes later. My plate was barely warm, sides cold, steak cold. My husband said "please don't complain I don't want them to think we're trying to get a free meal!" I said "honestly it's horrible and to have eat a cold meal because we are hungry shouldn't be okay." The waiter popped over and said "hey how is everything?" I told him the food was good, however it was cold and he said "oh it shouldn't be cold," but I said yes it's cold to touch etc. he offered to bring me some fresh shrimp as I told him I was hungry and didn't want to wait for another plate of food. The ribeye was very grainy and hard to cut, also had more salt than the Pacific Ocean, my husbands words-not mine! I it happen to be our anniversary and we just decided to leave our card out on the table because we were tired of waiting, etc.. We were asked if we wanted anything boxed up, I said "no," as a full plate of food just sat. The waiter said, "next time you guys come in desserts on us!" We decided to get a butter cake to go.The waiter brought back the bill and said dessert was on us and nothing was compensated. Keep the dessert card for next time! We still tipped the normal 25% as we know that servers get min wage and rely on tips. We normally try to tip 50% when we dine out especially if the service and dinning was great. read more

To justify our drive from Twin Falls, ID to Portland, OR, my boyfriend and I decided to treat ourselves to a nice breakfast/brunch in Boise, ID, and we were so glad we chose Fork! We got there 5 minutes after they had opened for Sunday brunch and there were already 6-7 tables filled with people, and that was the first sign that this was a good place! We got seated immediately and the service was exceptional from beginning to end. For food, we split the cinnamon roll for apps. I got the northwest scramble with avocado while the bf went with Dungeness crab scramble. The cinnamon roll here is like nothing you've had before. It is rich and you know eating it is sinful when they give you a steak knife to cut it . We loved our entrees as well and overall were very satisfied with our brunch! Also, for the Bloody Mary lovers out there, their make your own Bloody Mary bar is a treat! read more

Great place to stop for food. Many choices on the menu I loved that they would text when the table was ready. I had the brisket burger. It was delicious. A must would be the asparagus and Brussels delicious. Service was a bit slow and had to ask for set ups a few times. With that's said I would return. With the line on the weekends, I would have expected much more. In my time in Boise, I have been to Fork many times. The only thing I would go back for are the brussel sprouts. The fried asparagus and cauliflower bites are okay and the sandwiches I have had (Cuban, burger, and chicken club) were outshined by the rosemary fries that come with. The cocktails are surprisingly good but are dependent on the day. read more

My wife and I had our first date since moving to Boise here and it was phenomenal! We split the Red Wine Braised Short Ribs, Maple Bacon Salad and Rosemary-Parmesan Idaho French Fries; and everything was delicious. 10/10 Service 10/10 Food 10/10 Drinks 10/10 Ambiance If you haven't already been, I'd say now is the time to go! read more

Nothing really to complain about here other than it is not an inexpensive meal out. Very good food, very good service, cool outdoor seating right in the middle of the downtown action. Clean restrooms. This is a great place to check out if you come to visit Boise. Get the warm butter cake for desert. It's definitely a special treat. read more

First time visiting Boise, and we decided to try Fork, based on all the Yelp reviews. Service was outstanding, we were seated promptly outside. Came for brunch. Ordered the BAM omelette as it was the only GF item on the menu and a side of bacon. If you order the bacon ask for the no maple glaze. The omelette was pretty good. Fresh Mozzarella, pesto, tomatoes and bacon. If you are going to have only one GF item on the brunch menu it better be good. Great job team at Fork. Love the support of all of the locally sourced ingredients as well. Atmosphere is a 10 of 10. This restaurant space is amazing. read more

Always a solid choice for food and drinks. The menu has many locally sourced items which is always cool to see. The asparagus fries are a must. This place is a crowd-pleaser! Every time I have out of town friends and family visit, I bring them here. I wish I liked this place better. We got the fried asparagus... very tasty but the coating mostly fell off when I picked it up or tried cutting it. I got the fried chicken salad. The fried chicken was so underwhelming. It was super dry, flat and the coating was unappetizing. My colleague got the ribs and really liked them Our server seemed overworked due to length of time between visits and uninspired attitude. I feel it's overpriced for food quality. Absolutely HORRIBLE service!!! Went i. And there was maybe 5 other tables seated and about 6 servers standing around. Took them over 15 minutes to see if we wanted drinks and then waited another 15 for them to ask us about food. Saw 4 tables get there after us and get not only their drinks but also their food before us. Not to mention they were bugger parties and a lot of food. I will Start with the service, jasmine was our server and put up with my dumb sense of humor haha. She was attentive, amazing, gave us great recommendations and very friendly with a great smile ;-). The food was probably about the best we've had in Idaho - appetizers - the Brussels sprouts were to die for, carnitas tacos (5) also awesome, then the filet over mash potatoes is a must, the ravioli pesto another was so good. What beer you do, if you can get a side or sub out for the mashed potatoes, definitely gotta try them. Dessert try the Butter bread. Great experience, highly recommend. read more

I'm going to be honest, while the ambience was fun because it was packed, this wasn't a love fest for me. We stopped and had 2 drinks and deep fried asparagus, which was delicious. Our drinks however, were smaller shots so we weren't impress. We decided to cut our losses and head out to try a different restaurant. These days, the foodie and restaurant world is abuzz with buzzwords. "Local," "sustainable," and "hand-crafted" get tossed around more than a good salad. Well, it is one thing to say it and another thing to live it. So when, after two decades in the hospitality industry, my wife Amanda and I first started playing with the idea of Fork, we knew it would take a lot of effort to make these words mean something again. And that's what we're trying to do, by making the ideas--the big ideas--behind these words not just marketing slogans, but at the core of how we spend our day. It all starts with the food, of course. That's why we've developed our "Loyal to Local" pledge, a commitment that has us sourcing many of our key ingredients from local Boise and Northwest farmers, ranchers, bakers, distillers, brewers, producers and cheese makers. The result is a menu that is as surprising as it is familiar. That's our story. Pretty simple really...and that's how it should be.

We decided to try Fork based on a colleague's recommendation. We made our reservation online and that process worked for us. We were seated on time and in the location we asked for. The wine list seemed a bit out of sync with the menu as most food items were in the $12-$16 range but the wine prices very high...with many $50 or more. I ordered a martini with an olive and onion and it came with lime and olive...I sent it back to have a fresh drink made but I'm pretty sure the old drink was just poured over new ice...tasted like that. I didn't make a big issue of until I realized that I was charged for both the mistake and the "second" drink! The manager took it off but my opinion of the service was quite negative by then. We were very please with our food. I had the ravioli and my wife the rueben. Both meals were more than enough to eat. I asked for bread with my meal and was served 4 thick slices of a wonderful rustic bread. It was great for cleaning that extra sauce on my plate! Fork has emphasized local items on their menu and that was wonderful to see. I can't say whether we'd go back or not but if we do, I think I'll just stick to a glass of wine. It is just too disappointing when a place can't even make the most basic of cocktails...a gin martini. Fork is fantastic for a variety of reasons! Don't be dissuaded by the multitude of four stars given by the "global food critics" on here. I strongly encourage you to try it and experience it for yourself. Located inside an old bank building, which is something you commonly see in big cities across the globe (but is still fairly rare for mid-America), Fork is set up with a modern and clean look with some traditional twists: high ceilings, exposed brick, dark wood elements, focal-point large bar and a wine wall, comfortable booths. You are greeted by the friendliest people you're going to meet and you discover they are more accommodating than they are friendly. That is until you meet your servers, which walk you though the locally-sourced imaginative menu and, with extreme knowledge about the wines served, guide you to your ultimate dining choice. We were here for a weekend brunch, which had fantastic dish options. Despite being on a strict diet, I was able to not only find something suitable but was also able to get something additional that was modified to fit my dietary restriction. I recently had an amazing dining experience at Fork, and I have to say, everything from the food to the service was top-notch. But what really made the evening memorable was our server, Vinny. From the moment we were seated, Vinny made us feel like we were his top priority. He was incredibly friendly, attentive, and had an excellent knowledge of the menu. He helped us choose the perfect cocktail pairing and offered great recommendations based on our preferences. I signed up for a seminar in this office in regards to a program that they were offering that helped those of us with Diabetes.The seminar began at 6PM and ended at 6:50 PM and gave absolutely no information in regards to the program itself. If I wanted to know more about it, I would have to sign up for a consult at a later date. I did return for that consult and found that the program costs $9000.00, is not covered under any medical insurances and I still do not understand the program in detail. The treatment manager seemed to more interested in how I was going to pay for the program than taking the time to explain it thoroughly. I think I speak for many when I say that people here in the Valley live on a fixed income and do not have an extra $9000.00 to spend. Unless you are one of the fortunate few and have an extra $9,000.00 to spend and do not care about the details I would suggest that you don't bother. We had a birthday celebration with 13 in attendance. Mgr. Jackie could have not been more accommodating to us in customizing the menu we presented to our guests. Shay, our head server, was attentive to every detail and they made us feel so at home and serving our needs to a "T". The food was brought out hot and AT ONCE for all guests, a feet achieved by few other restaurants. The setting with the semi private room looking out on the city lights from a long table with all our guests around could not have been more pleasant. Everyone raved about how good their dinners were. A fabulous experience for a memorable birthday..Thanks Fork! If there were any cons I would say jack up the horseradish and dips...somewhat bland.Also, the beer prices are not bad until you realize you are not getting a pint- downsized. I had the worst experience in my entire life with I-mortgage in Meridian, specially with Mr. Wade Carlson, and their staff. We lost thousands of dollars because of Mr. Wade Carlson mistake, believe me if I could give I-mortgage company less than 1 star I would do it happily, he introduce himself as a professional with many years of experience, but the way he presented his work and he acted was anything but professional, I will never forget about this horrible experience that I had with I-mortgage and will never recommend to anyone not even my worst enemy, if u want to waist your precious time and hard earned money. I have to say that today I had a great time purchasing my new phone. Alyssa Callentine was very friendly, patient, and thorough with the required information. I have purchased a lot of items in my life but never has it gone as smoothly as this. Even though the cost was higher than I expected, her explanations for each individual charge helped me to understand the final contract charges. Alyssa was a pleasure to work with and I walked away very proud of my phone, experience, and satisfied with the two year contract. Pride Auto I had a 2005 325 xi in Death Valley with a blown M54 engine I contacted Pride Auto in Sun Valley on Branford Street Gary had a use Engine I picked it up and drove over to my car in Death Valley. After installing the Engine I had a few questions Pride supplied the answers I could not get the car to fire; they said I could drop the car over so they could look at it, Victor and Gary looked it over and requested I call them back. I was blow away to go over and the car was running perfectly. These guys provide a high standard of expertise. What a surprise to find this gem in downtown Boise! Glad we had a reservation because it was absolutely packed on a Thursday night. Lots of information from local sources - very impressive. We met a friend that we hadn't seen for a while and our waitress was more than patient in checking on us and waiting to take our order for entres. We started with queso with chorizo and tortilla chips. Delicious and not too spicy. I had the trout on kale. I don't normally order kale but she said it would be delicious and tender and it was! Everyone else was happy with their meals. The restaurant is in one of the historic buildings with tall ceilings, timbers and brick. We had a great experience! read more

Dr. Blackwell saved me from excruciating pain in my right shoulder and arm. The pain I had for years was so strong that sometime I could not lift my arm above the head without pain. Prior visit with Dr. Blackwell I have visited 4 chiropractors, and without any improvement. As a matter of fact I was patient of other doctor in the same office but my doctor had emergency situation and dr. Blackwell made adjustment. Even though I "hated" him when he was adjusting my arm, later I "loved" him because my pain was gone. I had the filet. It was served over green beans. The green beans were hard and tasted old and were not good. It would have been better over mashed potatoes or something in season. Their mashed potatoes are great but not served with this dish. The steak was good but the sauce overwhelmed it a bit. The sauce was good but the steak got lost in it. Perhaps a little less would have been better. We ordered bread pudding for dessert. The bottom and sides were burnt. It was dry. It was a disappointing meal. Parking was easy at adjacent lot. Curb appeal is high - old Idaho bank. Build out inside is amazing - hip, urban vibe. Staff was friendly and knew there menu. Food was EXCELLENT...tried a variety of items, including a burger (ultimate or urban burger). Tons of fries came with our lunch entree. Salad was delicious - great dressing options. Dessert was amazing. If you are ever in the downtown area, or need a break from your regular dining spots in Eagle, Meridian, Nampa, or Mountain Home, Fork is worth the drive. Recommend that you make reservations...I know I'll be back for sure! read more

WOW!! The food here is incredible. My husband and I both ordered the angus steak with magnificent Idaho potatoes: Northwest Filet Au Poirve. We paired it with a bottle of the amazing French wine: Coudoulet de Beaucastel (Côtes-du-Rhône | Appellation d'Origine Contrôlée | Red Wine). We're from Cape Town, South Africa and appreciate good steak and great wines. This ticks all the boxes and will wow the connoisseurs. The waiter was friendly and efficient and the restaurant buzzing. Amazing Lunch & Outstanding Service! We were visiting from Las Vegas and stopped into Fork for lunch -- and wow, what an experience! The food was absolutely delicious, fresh, and full of flavor, but what really stood out was the service. It was truly top notch -- warm, attentive, and every bit as polished as the best hospitality we're used to in Vegas. Fork has short and tasty menu. They have sandwiches, salads and few bigger entrees. Their Salads are very good. They fill you up. I like the atmosphere, all dark wood and arched windows. The bar looks really nice. The only bad thing I had there was a tomato basil fondue appetizer. I thought they would've done something unique with it, maybe add a thick cheese with different bread assortments. It ended up being classic tomato soup with a cut up grilled cheese on regular white bread. Not worth it. Other than that, I love the place. read more

Food is amazing for the price and service was top notch. Been here a few times while in Boise and have had a few servers, Kelly stands out among them all. She was so polite and inviting, just a doll. But that's not all, she actually knew what she was talking about, and if she wasn't sure, instead of blowing smoke up our asses she asked someone who might know better. Just got back from my FOURTH visit to the Fork; DELICIOUS each time! The Adult Grilled Cheese with the Tomato Bisque as a side was just what I wanted on this cold day. I was also able to try the Northwest Chicken Salad and it was AMAZING! My husband, a hamburger aficionado, really enjoys the Urban Burger with cheese. Always great service as well! It is our family's new favorite restaurant to visit when we go to town. Our daughters are 7 and 8 and ask to go whenever we go to Boise! read more

This was an amazing first time experience. My wife usually cooks for us but we were able to have our niece take care of kids tonight for "mom & daddy" to take advantage of a well deserved meal out!!! 3 couples had lunch for a birthday celebration. Atmosphere and decor terrific, good service - BUT the men all chose hamburgers and they were disappointing, not the meat, tasted good but the challah bun needs to go, falls apart and is crumbly, no taste. Please do not serve the hamburgers on the wooden chopping board, very unpleasant and how does it get washed? Can't be put it in the dishwasher. Hope if we come a next time this issue will have been resolved. read more
